Deep stories, for fans of intelligent horror fiction

Some of the stories in this book are, literally, hard to read. Not because they stink, but because they are SO disturbing that you turn away for a moment, like witnessing an industrial accident, or a car crash. I am deeply impressed with many of the offerings herein, and did not find a single one to be disappointing. If you like intelligent horror that does not require in-your-face explanations or cheap end of story hooks, this is for you. However, this is most DEFINITELY for adults only. The themes are often explicit and deeply shocking. Prepare to be horrified, creeped out, disturbed and unnerved. Keep the lights on!
