SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

This book is horrible. The story telling is awful. I think many people can be writers but just a few have the gift of make you feel their story. The only thing I felt here was the need to contact someone responsible for the publishing of this book and give them some editing advice. And I don't consider myself editor material AT ALL. So imagine my dislikes for the mediocre book here. The title and blurb are so misleading I thought it was misplaced. That maybe it was suppose to be in another book. But the characters names checked. Anyhow, this is a short book. And really, where in a short book, instead of trying to build the characters, make us know them and connect with them the author spends paragraphs and more paragraphs with useless descriptions. Why would I care if a restaurant was also a bar and had live music and doors in the back, front, sides and hardwood floors that didn't look new but it seems they were there forever, probably since the restaurant was open?(I summarized the description here. Lol). And also why would I care about all the horses who were wandering around and the way they walk or if they're going to like his ranch or not?(summarized description again). And why do I care how all the pastures are so green and never ending, and how the house looks like with his wraparound porch made of stones and the inside were beautiful and rustic and it has chairs that you could sleep on them and that he uses a spare room as an office and that was "so him"?!(summarized again). Besides, again, dor a short book, hero and heroine spent most of the book apart, socializing with other people and working. Talking about nonsense things and the heroine even gossiping with her bff. And I didn't buy their romance. They didn't have that need to spend time together. They wouldn't change their plans to be with each other. They would set a day to meet and they stuck to the plan. Weird and cold. I didn't feel their attraction. There was none. He was a widow. But that wasn't even a issue here. It was like the woman never really lived. I didn't feel his love for the deceased either. So this plot that I really try to avoid wasn't a problem at all. And the sex scenes. What a bummer. Think about reading the phone book. It was like reading a list they needed to accomplish. "He took off my clothes. I took of his pants." "He sucked on my nipple. I sucked his dick". Something like that. Mechanical. And the secret baby plot?? THERE WAS NO SECRET BABY. She found out she was pregnant in the last chapter and she told him right the way. And they lived HEA. Note: She was 6 weeks late but they were together about a month.

Title makes no sense --spoilers

The book was fine at first, a pretty standard love story. Then she finds out she's pregnant. The same day she arranges to meet him and his crazy ex is there. At this point I thought the story was about to take a turn especially based on the title. Crazy ex says all sorts of things to make her doubt him. He pleads his innocence. She thinks for a minute and accepts that as the truth and tell him she's pregnant. He's excited and wants to get married. End of story. Where's the secret baby??

Where's the rest of the book??
Did it just actually end like that wow...WTF is going on.WHERE IS THE REST OF THE BOOK???

I totally agree with reviews about being ripped off.But thanks to kindle unlimited.. thank you..I guess.

So...again.Where the rest of the Book?

Why is the title of book "Secret Baby"...what was a secret about it.. none.. their was none.

The story progression was just developing...and was then abruptly prematurely concluded.WTF.Readers they're alot of potential progression in the story and I felt that as the nature of their story is all butterflies and unicorns and come on..give me more on the ex..Where's an epilogue. Do they marry... how does cara feel about ms Ulrich news.Whaaaaat... I need to know?

Because of the abrupt ending to the story.. I give it just 2 stars.Gahhh talk about super insta...

A very good and exciting read with a misleading title. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the romance between Mel and Will (spicy). Makes you want to read more of them. No secret baby though just a baby.

This book was incomplete to me. I would have liked to know what happen after the announcement of the baby! Telling his daughter , proposing, the jealous ex founding out, and an epilogue after the baby was born. It was a good read i just felt like was unfinished.

Secret Baby

Not my kind of books, too much dirty language and too much detail on the sex, didn't read the second stories, didn't fancy it.

Dnf

Dnf. Writing was fine, characters were ok, but just the overall language, conversation, etc., felt really young/childish and I couldn't get into it.

A K/U book.

I liked these books, the characters and the stories had a even flow
to them. With that being said, I did however have a couple of issues
with the books. Number one being that these aren't "Secret Baby" books.
(If you find out that you are pregnant and tell the father immediately or
within a couple of days, that does not a "Secret Baby" make.)

My second issue is that "Secret Baby" and bonus book #2 "Chance" both
ended too soon. They needed a couple more chapters or at the very least
an epilogue. Don't get me wrong, I like all 3 stories included in this book,
it just that 2 of them seemed rushed.

"Secret Baby"
Mel is a dance teacher at the local high school and a total knock out.
While out celebrating one of her good friends and fellow teachers birthday,
Mel has an invitation to join her ex-love interest Richard and his friends for
Karaoke. She meets on of Richard's friends Will and things progress pretty
quickly for the two of them. Mel finds herself breaking rules that she has set
in place and loving every minute of it.

Will is a single parent whose daughter just happens to be in the beautiful dance
teacher's Mel's class. He doesn't think twice about asking her out on a date and
when things progress, he finds himself wondering if he is really falling for her of if
he is confusing his feelings of loneliness for something more.

This book was awesome and then I was over... It just ended right when it was getting good. I feel a little ripped off this is more of a novella than a stand alone. I was expecting so much more bc honestly it was great and then it's like she just didn't finish the book! Your left wondering what happens?!?!

This was a really cute book. Loved the banter back and forth. These two were great together. Would have gave 5 stars but the end left me wanting more. I just didn't think the ex girlfriend was done.

Not that interesting

Blurb made these books sound hot and heavy but they were disappointing. Stories were bland and predictable. Characters were not developed and just seemed to appear out of nowhere. Not a fan.

I liked the book the only thing I didn't like was the ending the book felt unfinished. I loved that there was bonus books but those felt unfinished too. I wanted epilogue something it just felt rushed.

Just so so

I really wanted to like these stories but I found them to be to simple. Dialog moved along but no depth to the characters. No angst, mild silly drama and some whinny characters. Glad I got on Kindle Unlimited.

Cute book

Cute book but only 30% is the title story. The ending is pretty abrupt, with no real conclusion other than hey, having a baby.

Good.

Liked it, just wasn't enough story line. Didn't need that much sex in it to make a interesting book. That just my observation.

I only edited this book.
Nevertheless, I spent time and read it.
I do not enjoy romance novels anyhow so do not take my opine of it; I was paid to make the prose more readable.
