"You can set the rules this time. You don’t even need to know his last name. Hell, you don’t need to know his first name…”

Gabe Campbell doesn’t do one night stands, but after his boyfriend walks out on him, his best friend insists that it will be the perfect cure for his heartache. Gabe isn’t so sure, but when he meets a hot businessman who’s only in town for a week, it seems like the perfect opportunity to cut loose for once… as long as he can remember not to fall for a guy he’ll never see again.

“I will never, ever trust someone like that again."

Getting his heart broken once was more than enough for Nick Jeffries, and he’s spent the eight years since avoiding love in favor of easy, no-strings fun with men who don’t put his heart at risk. When his job offers him the chance to move from L.A. to Seattle, though, he finds more than he bargained for when a one night stand has him longing for things he’d long since stopped believing in.

“Trust me enough to give me a chance..."

Is one week long enough for two men to let go of their past and take a chance on forever… ?

One Week Stand is a steamy, standalone gay romance of approximately 25,000 words, with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

A cute story, but a little too much inner monologue. Gabe was a little frustrating as well.

A Keychain Romance!

Barista Gabe meets Salesman Nick for what was supposed to be a one night stand but turns out to be so much more. A lightweight, no surprises romantic story. Interesting enough read.

One Week Stand: Is a cute story about Nick and Gabe, who have both been hurt by previous relationships and are trying to find someone that is perfect for them and then having the courage to let them in.

New to me author. This is a contemporary mm romance set in the USA. The main characters are Nick and Gabe. Told from duel POV. Both have bossy female best friends. They meet at a bar for what is supposed to be a week while Nick looks at a new job in a new city. Gabe has come out of a bad relationship. Even though is supposed to be a short fling, they find their life partners.

When, in an mm couple, one has a stronger personality and the other a shy and hesitant way about them, I find that sexy and that is why I enjoyed this gentle novella. Gabe struggled to make decisions or take things in stride, Nick is confident but tried to give Gabe the space he needed. Both men are recovering from a bad break up and are still hurting, but when they met there is an instant connection. My first with this author and I must say I'm impressed, beautifully and gently written, a nice cozy read.

A cute, albeit sappy novella set in Seattle. Relationship phobic Nick visits from Los Angeles meets Gabe, freshly dumped. Hunter has a simple plot as the men dance around their attraction, discovering bits while dating over the week visit. Bits of Seattle are shown, barely enough to highlight its attractiveness. Heat is low level.

When you meet someone and neither of you have any expectations of anything other than right now, how do you handle forever. Two men who've been hurt by their past loves are looking for sexual release, what they find is so much more if only they can let go of the pain from their pasts and find a way to the future.

Only finished because it was short. The set-up made me think there would be some commitment-phobic conflict, but by the end I wondered why we even got the prologue, and it felt like a general shrug-emoji of a book.

Predictable and boring at a certain point. Lacks of suspance and passion. They meet, they fall in love like BAM! and then they get their HEA. Tired of romance book like these.

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**

This was a short, quick read that will give you a good smile and tingly feelings of happiness. lol...
I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we have two jilted characters trying to move on but at the same time jaded and wary of starting a new relationship....

We have Gabe who's boyfriend has recently walked out on him and in an attempt to start anew his best friend suggest he simply let go and have a one night stand. Do something completely different than what he's always done so he can say goodbye to the Gabe he was before. So he takes her advice and almost immediately his comes across a businessman who seems like exactly the thing he needs.

The only thing is, this hunky businessman, Nick, has also been burned by someone he once loved. But for Nick, the betrayal was too hard on his heart and he has vowed to never again put his heart on the line. All he has now are those one nights with someone, avoiding any deep connections that could hurt him again.
When his job lands him in Seattle, he finds this one night stand won't be as dismissive as he'd like. Because for the first time in eight years, he wants to put his heart and trust on this new man he's met. He never thought he'd believe in love again but the spark and familiarity he finds in Gabe isn't something he wants to let go.

In this one week both Nick and Gabe will have to decide if they want to give love a chance again.

It was so sweet.
Though I did feel it was slightly incomplete, like there was more to be said and shared between them. Mostly because I had hoped Nick would disclose to Gabe why he too was insecure about the stability of this budding relationship. I was hoping he would tell Gabe about how he was burned so Gabe would fully understand why Nick was wary of trusting again...

In the end I'm glad that it left it very open to a possible sequel of their future together. It left it on a very optimistic start of their lives... together.

Such a charming and uplifting novella…
I really enjoyed this novella, the chemistry between Nick and Gabe is sweet and charming. With neither man looking for a relationship after experiencing their own heartbreak, the connection between them is too strong to relegate to a single encounter. Gabe struck me, with his fresh wounds still so raw, and all of his insecurities right at the surface, he almost second guesses himself out of his chance at happiness. Nick, on the other hand, has long since abandoned the idea that his future would ever hold true and enduring love. These two men are their own biggest obstacles as they try to find their balance between trying to protect themselves and exploring the potential blossoming between them, and I loved the dynamic between them as they worked through the obstacles keeping them separated. This is a great choice for a reader looking for an uplifting and optimistic reminder that love can show up when least expected, I’m looking forward to reading more from this new author.

While enjoyed this book it didn't seem complete. The prologue was about Nick catching his boyfriend in bed with another man. This supposedly hurt Nick deeply. To me the author seemed too be setting the stage to show how this event affected Nick ands how he dealt with it. But that's not what happens, the story picks up 8 years later with Gabe. Gabe is depressed because his boyfriend of 3 years, Keith, broke up with him without giving him a reason. Gabe's best friend Haley talks him into going out to get his mind off his ex. They go to a club where Gabe meets Nick. I liked both Gabe and Nick and really enjoyed their story. Gabe's confusion is cute. He wants to be with Nick but is afraid of falling into the same old pattern, he would be completely lost without Haley. After the heartbreak both men suffered I'm glad they got their HEA and that's why I'm giving "One Week Stand" 3.8 stars.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, unbiased review:
The two MCs, Nick and Gabe, are both gun shy when it comes to meeting new men. Both have been burned by really bad exes and they are hesitant to reach out again. They meet at a bar in Seattle, Gabe's home city.
Gabe's best friend had encouraged him to go out and have a fling with no expectations, in order to get himself out of the rut he has fallen into. Nick's best friend had encouraged him to fly up to Seattle from his home in LA in order to decide if he wanted to move there with a new job so as to start new.
Neither of them were looking for strings or a relationship, but somehow that is what begins to happen after a great first night together. The story unfolds from there and I can heartily recommend this book for whoever loves a happy ending.

3.5 stars for me. Put two men together who have burned by love before for a week-long "no attachments" type of fling? What else do you think is going to happen? Love, of course! :D

This is the first time I have read something from this author, and I enjoyed it! It was a sexy, fun, and enjoyable novella. I thought that the chemistry between Nick and Gave was written very well, and I just wanted them to work things out.

If you're looking for a quick read with a HEA, you might want to give this new author a try.

I really enjoyed this book by a new to me author. The writing style flowed from start to finish. You were drawn into the lives of these two men. I liked how the two Mcs brought out the best in each other. The connection was there and it was good how you saw the doubts of relationships disappear throughout the week.
I really enjoyed the epilogue and seeing where the guys ended up.
This is a really sweet romantic short story with hot moments.

This is a wonderful short story about two men that meet after bad breakups. The author makes you feel like you are right there as Gabe and Nick explore their relationship. This book is fun and romantic with a little twist to it. Although Dillon is newly published his writting keeps you interested from the beginning to the end.

This was a short, sweet and so very cute read. I loved how they both wanted one thing... and ended up with something completely different. I love how they got together and how everything came together. I loved the astronaut brought them together. It was amazing and so much fun and I am so glad I got to review it

Short & sweet novella about two men who meet at a bar. Nick is only looking for a good time and Gabe is looking for Mr. Right, can these two even have a chance. One night turns into a week but when secrets (Nick's fault) come to light and Gabe's ex makes a appearance can these two decide that what they want is right in front of them. Love this story and hope to read more from this author.

This wasn't my type of romance novel. A lot of fade away love scenes which helped stress the lack of chemistry between the two main characters. Plus there was no real conflict to make for an interesting plot. If you are looking for just a sweet M/M book, this might be it; however, if you want something with a bit more depth, One Week Stand isn't it.

This book for the most part was just average. A great way to spend an afternoon indulging in my favorite past time. What pushed into the 4 star great read territory was the Epilogue...no spoilers but that ending just did it for me.
