This was a really interesting read being a collection of various articles about both Lin-Manuel Miranda and the musical Hamilton. It did get a bit frustrating after a while because a lot of the information was releated.

It's difficult to review this ebook because it is a compilation of articles - all interesting - from the archives of the New York Times. The articles - 26 in all - follow "Hamilton" from its inception to winning 16 Tony nominations. And because they're from the New York Times, all are well-written. However, could you get the same articles just from going to the NYT website and searching for "Hamilton" or "Lin-Manuel Miranda" or "$10 bill"? Well, sure. But since the mini-book costs $2.99 (currently), why not let your fingers just click on "purchase" on the Amazon website?

This collection of New York Times articles about the hit musical "HAMILTON" is a hit in itself, an insightful and enriching collection of Times articles about the background, aesthetics, and impact of this record-setting show. Sure to be a valued remembrance of one of the most significant Broadway musicals in decades.

This book is perfect for a very specific person who a) saw the musical, b) does not mind the author intruding and endlessly praising everyone and c) cares about theater.

That person is not me. I did not get anything out of this book. When Hamilton was available for streaming, that was amazing, this book remains, not amazing.

A great overview of the publicity around the musical. A good backdrop for the play.
