Seven years after he discovers the need to restore peace and lawfulness, Arthur returns to Telecoma to reclaim his birthright. Though prosperous, Telacoma is ruled by fear, and acts of injustice have become an accepted part of everyday life. The lost and disillusioned shaman, Whitefeather, still clings to the hope of one day finding the man whose destiny it is to wield the mystical gun called Caliber. Will violence and tragedy befall Arthur as they did his father?
Every media, be it book or comic, which has a good and well written Sir Kay in it, will always make be biased (positively), because I love Kay so much. Sadly, he didn't appear for two long, but was fun enough to be an interesting character of the second issue.
The art is pretty, but the story doesn't have too much too it, in this issue, still, better than the first one: here we meet Arthur, and he is finally chosen by "excalibur" (gun), showing Merlin that he wasn't wrong, there would be a lawmaker worthy of having that gun.
Guinevere makes a short appearance, but nothing too important. It still seems like a prologue issue.
Continuing with the cool styling of the first, the colours and dramatic art are well done. Here the story seems to get a bit muddier than the first, though was able to overall follow the goings-on. From an ending standpoint, a sort of replay of the prior issue. Will be continuing on since I have the hard cover with hopes the story comes more into focus.
