Harlow Kane has a fan in me. As this wonderful read is her first, yes her first book. I was so into the book that I had read it four times. I am absolutely in love and can not wait for book 2

As the debut release for Harlow Kane. Fucking spectacular. This book sent me on an emotional rollercoaster and captured my heart. The plot, the characters. She definitely put her all into this book and it shows. I can not wait for the next release!!!!

HOME RUN DEBUT NOVEL!!!
As a PA and an avid reader, I have read hundreds of books. Though many are good, it's hard to find a book where you connect with the character and actually feel what they are feeling as the story is being told.
Shatter does just that!!! Harlow Kane invites you in, envelops you into the story and sets your soul on fire through this amazing story of love, loss, finding yourself and redemption!
Harper's life was that of any normal teenager, until it wasn't. Suffering a devastating loss and being taken away from her first love, Dawson, her life headed in a downward spiral. Years later Dawson shows up at her job. But can their pasts be put aside for a future together?
I literally felt every single emotion Harper went through, throughout the entire book. I laughed and cried. Just wow!
You do not want to miss this book!

Wow! Just wow! This author has left me speechless with her debut book, yes that's correct! Her debut book! From the first page I was gripped and you would be led to believe this is from a seasoned author!
Such a beautiful story of second chances.....Harper has been through the ringer in her short life, experienced such trauma that it's a wonder she can get out of bed in the morning.......but fate has her returning home for the first time in years after a face from her past appears.
Dawson *sigh............Damn I so wanted these two to get their happy ending but as we know love and life doesn't always run smoothly......you NEED to add this to your TBR to see what happens!! I cannot wait to read more from this author!!

Absolutely loved this book 100%. Harlow did an amazing job telling the story of Harper and Dawson. A love story between 2 kids who become very close as kids and become each others true love to only be separated due to a tragedy in Harper's life. Harper unfortunately has to deal with heartbreak at a young age and very bad circumstances that no child should ever have to endure. As she gets older her struggles in life seem to keep following her around until one day she gets a blast from the past and sees her long lost friend Dawson. As the story goes Harper still has struggles to overcome but having Dawson back in her life seems to help a lot. Wanna know more gotta get the book. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to see what Harlow Kane comes out with next.

A very good debut novel. Harper is a girl whose life has been anything but rosey the past few years, married to an abusive, alcoholic husband, Charlie.
Working in a seedy strip club she meets a past love, Dawson, and she feels uncomfortable him seeing her like that. The story delves into Harper and Dawson's budding new relationship and her fears of running into Charlie.
The story moved a bit slow to me but ***POTENTIAL SPOILERS*** really picked up its pace when Charlie comes after her and what happens to her and Dawson.
There is an alternate ending I am trying to download as it would give the story different depth. I would recommend this book.

This is the first book fr me by Harlow Kane and boy did it low me away. Shatter is a great book about second chance at love. The story grabs you in the first chapter and doesn't let you go till the end. Harper was a normal teenage until a loss takes her away from her first love and her life enters a downward spiral. As an adult her first love, Dawson finds her at her job. But can all the years apart and the heart ache be forgotten as they learn to love and trust again. This was a great story about lost, loving and finding yourself. I can't wait till the next book comes out to get more from this author.

A beautiful second chance story. Harper and Dawson were childhood sweethearts, separated as teens. Harper goes through so much before they reunited she is shattered, broken but they have never stopped loving each other however there is the added complication of harpers abusive husband now. I loved this book from first to last page , I laughed and I cried , I felt her pain and rejoiced in the reignited flame of their love. I would love to see jenn/ Betty get a chance to tell her story

Absolutely fabulous! A slow burn true love story! Captured by the stripper with the tormented past, I only stopped reading for sleep, work, and kid issues. Harper wants the HEA but feels she is too broken to have it! Dawson, the imperfectly perfect man to change her mind! And then the Oh Holy Hell happens! I love HEA! A definite must read! Jenn the super heroine! Loved her as much as Harper!

I have never, in my entire 11 years of reading romance, been able to connect with a character like I did with Harper. Her pain was my pain while reading her story. Her joy, and love were shared as well. this book is written very well. I am so satisfied with his her story ended that I do not want to read the alternate ending. But I encourage everyone to do so.

A beautiful story.
You will love all the characters in this book but Charlie. Harper had everything, then something terrible happened. Because of being under age she had to leave the only home and happiness she ever knew, including the boy she loved. Follow Harper’s story to see if she will get a Hea.

What a amazing book!! Harlow nailed her debut release as an Author... this book gives you all the feels!! I wanted to jump into the book at times and then I would be crying my eyes out... Congrats Harlow!!! Can't wait for the next book!!

I loved Shatter. This was a slow burn book with a lot of history but not so much that it bored you. Harper has a horrible life right now but is determined to change. Dawson has his own demons to face. But will Charlie screw it all up? The emotions are high during this one.

I must say, for a debut author, I was quite surprised at how this book held my attention! Harper and Dawson's love for each other was the kind that "fairy tales" are made of! I will not venture any further than that about the story...but I do look forward to seeing more from Harlow Kane!

This gripping book immerses you into Harper's life. It is written with so much passion and detail that you are drawn in and cannot escape the roller coaster of emotions. The full spectrum of emotions are experienced. Happiness, pain, turmoil, acceptance, anger, and most importantly love. A wonderful book of second chances, healing, hope, and life. This is a book that will stay with me for all time.

This was my 1st book I read by Harlow Kane, it was good. Loved reading Harper and Dawson story. Even thou at 1st it show how bad her life was when she was not with Dawson. She married another man that was very abused to her but at all thou her abuse life she still had a happy ending.. Bit I must say it is a must read..
