Everyone has secrets . . . but is hers the most shocking? Orphaned at birth, seventeen-year-old Sahil has always blamed himself for his parents' death. He has little interest in life until he meets the enigmatic Anya in a chance encounter during the Shimla fest. Soon he falls head over heels in love with her, but Anya doesn't reciprocate his feelings. An accident leaves him in a coma and when he wakes up he makes a startling discovery-he can read minds! Now he can find out what goes on in Anya's mind and maybe, just maybe, make her fall in love with him. But is Anya all she seems? Or is she hiding something? Deliciously plotted, full of morbid secrets and startling revelations, Secretly Yours will make you question what you see and who you trust.
The story is about a seventeen-year-old who lost both parents at birth. He seems to love music, reading, and a few other activities that are not as wholesome. Until this girl joins his school (I think) and turns his life around in more ways than one. In the backdrop, bizarre events are unfolding around him, including but not limited to people dropping like flies around him, procurement of mind-reading abilities after comas induced by freak accidents, and strange Twilight-like happenings.
What I Liked:
The variety of different elements in the plot; the book has scraped the surface of a couple of not-run-of-the-mill topics such as self-harm, rape, and the crappy justice system in India (among other things but I may end up spoiling the plot unnecessarily, so I’ll refrain).
I really liked this bit: “The longer the book, the longer you spent in another world.”
What I Did Not Like:
1) Plot Holes –
Anya seems to join school but never seems to attend classes, except the music class that the protagonist teaches.
The murders simply fade away once they have been explained to the protagonist.
The very obvious lack of responsible adults in the story because, despite being in their late teens, most characters seem to be little more than children.
Also, how can you gain mind-reading capabilities and be completely okay with that? Wouldn’t you do a little research to find out if you need to be in the psych ward? I know I would.
There are also picnics to museums for Grade 12 students where they “chuck” school uniforms for “our favorite casual clothes” and ride ponies.
2) Incomplete/ Bad Character Development –
Grandma, the legal guardian and the adult in control simply shows up only to say terrible things about her younger grandson who, clearly, is going through some shit. Freak accident disposes off her character. How convenient.
Sibling relationships that have undergone trauma and still remain indifferent are unacceptable; ideally, they either break off completely or become stronger than ever.
The leads, both male and female, are just plain annoying in most of their actions and words (Example: You know how couples call each other jaan or baby or whatnot? The leads call each other “boyfriend” and “girlfriend”).
3) Terrible Editing and Language:
The first few chapters end so abruptly I had to check if I'd missed a page by accident.
I cannot for the life of me picture a six-foot seventeen-year-old giggling when his even taller brother ruffles his hair, can you? This is only one of the more believable places where he “giggles”.
He also seems to have an unhealthy obsession with the girl’s hair (I counted six references in the first half of the book).
There are obvious editing errors: two people “giggling among themselves”; the police “trying tooth and nail to nab the killer”; “another slinging match”; “lost so many closed ones”. And sentences like: “But apologies have an expiry date. If you wait long enough they lose their magic” – I don’t even know what that means – and “Did I awaken the man in you?” Good. Lord.
The author clearly stopped trying when they were trying to come up with chapter names: “Rape”; “Who is Anya?”; “Birthday”; “Anya”; “Anya’s Home” apart from “First Murder”; “Second Murder”; “Third Murder” all the way up to “Eighth Murder”, I think.
4) Astounding Number of Clichés:
Descriptions of everything from smoking to sunsets to suicides that fail to explore beyond the VERY obvious. I'll leave you to discover them yourself.
Honestly, the latter part made me reminisce about Twilight – the similarities in the characters’ lives and related emotions (I’m trying SO HARD not to spoil the plot, so apologies if this is annoyingly vague :/) Also, thank God I have not yet been part of world where a man can truly love a woman and still refer to her as a bitch and a “snotty bitch” on several occasions, right to her face, and the woman being okay with that.
I was also more than annoyed with the book’s treatment of issues such as self-harm and rape because they seem to be there more for the shock value than to create awareness - at a pivotal plot point, two characters are watching a short film/ play about rape and the protagonist actually thinks that despite being informative, it wasn’t entertaining enough for him and that he was bored of watching it. I was like WTF? :/
All in all, the plot had potential but it disappears amidst a humongous pile of seemingly random events (for lack of a better word). Not the book for me, I’m afraid. You’d probably enjoy this if you like reading Chetan Bhagat, Rasleen Syal, Bhavna Arora, and the likes.
Thank you, Writers’ Melon for sending me the book for an honest review.
I've not read any of Vikram Khanna's previous books and hence, I thought I'd read one. The book is published by Penguin Books Limited and thats the only reason I picked this book. The title was not attractive, I didn't like the cover as well but one thing that caught my attention was the blurb. I read this book with some basic expectations, but, surprisingly, the book didn't satisfy the reader in me.
The plot was just another love story of a teenager built with a USP that the guy is capable of mind-reading. What I thought with the blurb and what the book offered was entirely different. There were obvious loopholes in the novel throughout, right from the murder parts to the age of the characters, there were mismatches from page one. The characters and the motivation behind each were not fleshed properly, a bit clumsy here. Could have been better though.
A penguin published book with editing flaws, mistakes, language, sentence structure errors etc.. So, it was disappointing!
Though cliched, a few parts were smile worthy and dialogues were good enough. Some parts were philosophical though. Not a great read, wouldn't have picked if not for Penguin.
The sensitive topics should have been handled even better. Overall, I felt that a good plot was clumsified with cliched details.
I wanted to rate this higher but something was holding me back. I dont know what it was about this book but i just hated everything about it. I could rant about tho book for so long.
First off, i do not like the main character Sahil, he was this playboy turned into loverboy. And the way we dont even acknowledge the part where he finds about his friend being a r*pi$t. And i just hate his whole personality. And i dont get his trauma. And he was so manipulating.
And then the female lead,, i didn't mind her but i hated how her action scenes where a mid... It wasnt written well,, what do you mean she plucked his crotch out like a fruit. Just imagine that.
And there's more i could talk about butim tired of texting so...
After When Life Tricked Me and Love Lasts Forever, Vikrant Khanna is back with another novel titled Secretly Yours.
The story is based over the beautiful city of Shimla. A seventeen years Sahil is a lost teenager who has no goal in life and has more issues than candles his birthday cake would have. Sahil has lost his parents and lives with his grandmother, elder brother and a cousin. Sahil has no interest in socialization or studies. Music is the only thing which hangs on Sahil with life. The character of Sahil may resemble to many teenagers of this age who hate almost everything about their life and are never happy for anything. Sahil do have few friends yet not closed ones. Sahil don’t interact with his family even. Sahil plays guitar, reads books, drinks lot, cuts self, roams around alone. Sahil dreams to be an author one day and writes a novel. Sahil is someone very common to this generation.
The story revolves around Sahil’s zombiness and takes turns with the entry of a pretty girl Anya. Anya, who has enrolled in Sahil’s music academy, makes him fall for her on the first sight. After the flattering entry of Anya the pretty happy-go-lucky girl, the story revolves around Love-Ishq-Mahobbat and all. Sahil keeps on wooing Anya and Anya keeps on rejecting. Friend-zoned Sahil conveys his love to Anya many times but Anya surprisingly rejects him and yet keeps on hanging around him. Anya and her friends behave suspicious adding mystery to the story.
Sahil, Anya, Love, Teenager issues – the story goes beyond this and talks about suspicious multiple murders. Every murder happening in Shimla, somehow surrounds Sahil and Anya. Story takes many turns towards the revelation of suspense. And of course I will not open any thread of it. “
Vikrant has beautifully described the various parts of the picturesque town of Himachal Pradesh and woven it well into the story-line. The crux of the story has a wider goal than just being a supernatural subject. It makes a reader think about the subject of life and death; with a theory of how the deeds we carry out in our life may consequence our after-life and beyond. Of how the things in human life that are taken for granted can seem like a luxury to those deprived of it.
Full of interesting twists and turns, this makes for a quick and light read in a single sitting.
Secretly Your’s is about young love, strange happenings along with a bit of murderous mayhem and the novel manages to engross the reader. It is a young adult romance about a boy Sahil and his life that seems to be going nowhere. In walks Anya, beautiful, smart and full of mystery. That she is keeping secrets is obvious from the beginning. There is a bit of trouble surrounding Sahil with his dysfunctional family and typical teenage rebellion.
Two troubled souls attracted to each other and they just hit it off. Guitar and music are their common link and soon enough Sahil is falling for Anya. She does not reciprocate his feelings but leaves him hopeful with her gestures and words. Sahil wants to be a writer, yet his sad past that haunts Sahil, the callous grandmother and the distant left over family make Sahil a kid you want to root for. The author has painted a pretty realistic, angst-ridden character. He keeps at his aim of being a writer as his focus, the writing keeps him from going off the edge.
Anya, the beautiful, kind, sensitive, and definitely into some trouble keeps up the other half of the book. Even though the book is about Sahil, she manages to take center stage more often than not. It is her secrets that propel Sahil to reach a stage where he becomes so different that he can read minds. After the accident, Sahil changes and so does the pace of the book. The murders get murkier and the Anya and friends take center stage. Since Sahil can hear the thoughts they have to take him into confidence and share about themselves.
Here in the paranormal element takes over, coupled with Sahil’s ability the friends share secrets. Who are the other friends, how is Anya different, what abilities do they have? Vikrant has managed to create an alternate reality for them which is convincing due to its simple connections to our life, thoughts, and rituals.
The twist in the tale is not the murders or who is the murderer – I had an inkling of that. The real twist is the community these paranormal friends had created and the climax. Sahil comes into his own as we near the end of the book. The murders are solved, friendships tested and family cherished. The book has it all.
Aditya, Sameer, Ibrahim, Monica all become his extended family as he tries to follow his love, Anya. The climax was a page turner and even with elements of other famous paranormal works the book reads well. Hints and inspiration might have been from books like Psy-Changeling Series, Twilight or The Raven Boys, etc yet the author has created a different and relatable world. I can almost see a sequel of this one. Love is the reason for all life and even death in this case as Vikrant manages to generate interest, intrigue, and suspense. I particularly liked the ending even though it was the most obvious one – sometimes the regular stuff shines well since it finds its perfect spot.
Secretly Your’s – dive into the unknown, secret, mysterious and surreal. An entertaining read.
Penguin as a publisher sort of gave credibility to this book and author. I avoid buying books written by Indian authors, unless recommended. It is a "Romantic" Storyline... hmmmm???? Well, this started ok. I am biased about simla... just dont like it. Too crowded , too touristy ,too mundane and the mystery seems to have disappeared. The story is set in simla , a few landmarks seem familiar... but you just cant picture cars zipping about there. And the characters, teenagers- totally understand the angst. I've been dealing with it for 12 years now... as a high school teacher and now as a.mum. it was all there in the beginning , had the story line progressed in tbat direction, maybe I would have been happier. But the fantasy or mystery or supernatural element that dragged the story to the pits , sorry to say is copied from the twilight series. And hints from some of the spin offs...One good boss... who has his coven and then the bad guys.... only these are creatures eat food. So maybe, had rhis book been written 2 years before the twilight saga released ,it could've been palatable. But it was a pain to finish. And I finished it only because I had been asked to review it. Sad. Because I'm a sucker for romance even if it is so badly mismatched.
I never pick up books by Indian Authors unless the blurb is exciting enough to arouse my curiosity, and that is a very rare occurrence. The redundancy in plots and lack of innovation are visibly hurting the Indian writing community. People keep to the basic clichéd love stories adding an easily predictable twist.
At first, I thought I was reading something in the lines of Hancock, a Will Smith movie, but it later changed tracks in the lines of Twilight. Now you know what to expect.
If you noticed, I try my best to level the number of Pros and Cons in my reviews but this one just wouldn't let me. I think that says it all.
Haven't read the author's bestsellers but this was surely not the best he can do. From the way he writes, he could have done a lot better than this.
Secretly yours is a book like a Bollywood movie. As the book front cover suggest a adult book it's not it's a normal story. But there are many surprises related to Anya. Liked the book it felt like watching a Bollywood movie having alien
An unusual love story with usual love story plot. Little disappointing with loosely bound characters and confusing story. Teenagers or naive readers may like it.
Deliciously plotted and full of startling revelations, 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒 will make you question what you see and whom you trust. Thanks sir for writing such an uncommon story with such a great twist and turns. Truly loved it and you all must get a copy. I have grabbed mine.... I’m sure unlike me you will also be shocked while gradually progressing towards the end. As this is an extremely fast pace and easy-going read so I would recommend this book to a beginner. This book is very simple to read so you will not at all feel difficult to read or get going with it. I would urge teenagers or below them to read this book.
A very mysterious and interesting story about Sahil who lost his parents when he was born. He grows up with his grandmother and two cousins. Life goes on and one day he meets Anya, with whom he falls in love. Later Sahil meets with an accident and goes into coma for a month and upon waking is surprised to find that he is able to read the minds of people.
Deliciously plotted, full of morbid secrets and startling revelations, Secretly Yours will make you question what you see and who you trust.
The whole story revolves around the "Supernatural" elements - the things which we think are beyond our understanding... The love story in it, acts just as a sub-plot to the main supernatural theme/plot... The story would have been more better, because all the way I felt, somewhere something is missing ; But, the "Open Ended"ness of the plot made me think further, which eventually made the storyline seem better for me... The language is simple and easy, a good book for beginners, with some really amazing quotes for everyone...💜🍃
This is probably the first book I hated so much and still finished it. First 10% of the book I hated like hell, then middle was decent enough to hook me up but the end was equally terrible as the beginning. Writer introduced so many characters and secrets about the "Revenants" it felt the story is not about the original characters. A decent read overall, skip it if you can.
And that's how you make a love story interesting!! The title is very apt, "Secretly Yours". This story of love is way much different and each chapter opens up new secrets as we proceed. The ending was a little draggy but else, a one time read. I wish I too had any one of the powers possessed by both protagonists in this.
Romance is one genre that has been explored endlessly by almost all authors; and when a little bit of supernatural element is mixed with romance, the results are nothing but endearing. Author Vikrant Khanna’s latest offering “Secretly yours” is one such endearing novel.
Set in the backdrop of the picturesque city of Shimla, “Secretly yours” talks about the life of Sahil, an orphan who lives with his brother, grandma and his uncle’s family. Things change when Anya arrives in his life. On the other hand, there is a serial killer on the loose who is wreaking havoc in the usually quiet hill station. Who is behind the killings? What is the mystery behind Anya and her friends?
Vikrant Khanna weaves a thoroughly engaging plot with the right ingredients for a romantic as well a suspense thriller novel. There is a certain freshness in the plot which seems creative and yet highly believable.
The writing is pretty simple and easy on the readers. The language is kept simple and the writing witty and to the point. Vikrant does his characterizations beautifully. The characters of Sahil and Anya are done very nicely and in depth. Be it the mysterious Mayur and Sameer or that of Aditya or Monica, all the characters are written very well.
Secondly, keeping Shimla as the place where the entire novel is set up, is a lovely idea. There is always a different aura and beauty when a hill station is involved. Somehow I wouldn’t have loved this book so much had it been set up in a bigger city.
Lastly, the chemistry between Sahil and Anya is wonderfully done. Be it their initial interactions or the ones after the secrets are shared, everything is superb. One can feel those sparks of romance when these two hold the centre stage.
Also, the ending is done well. I was expecting something similar since the beginning. I kept guessing as to how the book would end, and I finally was proven right.
However, the climax is pretty hurried. I would have loved if the book would have been 50 pages longer but had a more elaborate and more believable climax.
Secondly, the entire revenant lore seems convincing, and yet the author fails to evoke that enmity between the revenants and the brothers. There is a lack of tension that should have been present. Ultimately, it all leads to a weak climax.
Apart from these few glitches, I have no complaints with the novel.
OVERALL, Vikrant Khanna’s “Secretly yours” is a breezy romantic supernatural thriller which can be easily finished off in one sitting. With easy English, crackling chemistry between the lead pair and an intriguing plot, this book is definitely a one time read.
The Cover: The cover page has a beautiful girl lost in her own reflection which looks foggy. Would I pick the book from the shelf by looking at the cover? Well, may be yes. But the, wait for the complete review…
The Book: Secretly Yours is the story of an unfortunate orphan who is in his teenage, has knowledge of music, plays guitar, loves reading and what more – Writing a book. Wait, I am not done yet. It’s also a thrilling murder mystery along with the element of supernatural power. Phew! Yes, I book has so much to offer and to some extent, It did justice to some of the plots. I so wish, the other plots were also taken good care of.
What I liked about the Book: 1. Teenage - All of us love the time which has passed. Teenage is one of the best times of our lives. I was happy to relive some of my own teenage moments through this book. 2. Short Chapters - Chapters with the range of 5 pages are always a good pick. 3. Drugs, Self Harm – I never understand the concept of self-harm and suicides. I must refrain from stating my views on the topic especially on a public platform. The cutting of own body and delving into alcohol and drugs is depicted quite sensibly in the book from teenage point of perspective.
What I Did Not Like About The Book: 1. Poor Crime Scene Plotting - The depiction of gruesome murders could have been so much better. I have read books where a simple crime scene is written in such a way that they gave me shivers. The author chooses to write about horrible murders with an equally horrible scene explanation. I felt so unfortunate for the author. There was so much scope in those spine chilling plots. I did not think about them even once after reading. 2. Fading Thrill - The moment a murder is described, the context gets lost completely in the very next chapter. I actually waited for the next reference of the crime in true sense. This is definitely not a sign of any thriller.
There were a very few lines which did caught my attention; "...apologies have an expiry date. If you wait long enough they lose their magic."
“Writing is about pouring your heart and soul onto a paper and feeling light after it.”
If I have to give a final opinion to the book, I would say, ”Secretly Yours does look a promising read by the cover page. The story and plot is an all-time hit. But, I would only prefer reading it on a boing flight or on my iPhone while I try to keep my eyelids open in some meaningless meeting. Go ahead and read it but do not expect any eye-popping thrilling experience.”
After ‘When Life Tricked Me’ and ‘Love Lasts Forever’, Vikrant Khanna is back with his third novel ‘Secretly Yours’.
Secretly Yours is not just a typical love story filled with drama, but a romantic saga and kind of a murder mystery, with a pinch of thriller mixed with it. It is based on the teenage life and also talks about parallel life, i.e., the life after death. Confused enough? You got to read the book to understand what I’m talking about.
The story revolves around the two lead characters- Sahil Malik and Anya Sarin. Sahil, a teenager, is pissed off from his life and resort to drinking and cutting off his hands in order to get relief from his emotional pain. Soon his life takes a turn when he meets a pretty girl, Anya. So this marks the beginning of the story followed by some shocking revelations, and a murder mystery too.
The cover picture is thought provoking, showing a girl’s face with her mirror reflection. The font style and colour of the title is attractive.
The book is divided into 62 chapters along with a prologue and an epilogue. ‘Life can be a great teacher, particularly when you’ve been a bad student.’ The prologue starts off with this line, and it’s a short & precise one.
There is a section in the book which talks about some sensitive issues such as rape and suicide. Besides this, the author has introduced some imaginary concepts which are interesting, though a proper justification could have been given at various places.
If we talk about the language part, the use of vocabulary is fine. But there are some glitches in terms of editing. Such errors shouldn’t have been there.
I felt that a lot could have been done to develop a strong plot with this kind of storyline. The blurb of the book highlights the concept of mind reading, but only a small part of the book covers that concept.
Overall, it’s a good read if you’re looking for a different story and I enjoyed reading it. A number of events take place in the story, yet it goes on with the flow, maintaining its pace. And yes, this book reminds me of the movie series- Twilight.
Lines from the book- # I believe, just say what you feel. Let your heart do the talking. The world will be a better place then. # Stupid human beings that we are, sense dawns on us only when it’s too late. # ‘But apologies,’ she told me, ‘have an expiry date. If you wait long enough they lose their magic.
Ratings: Title & Cover- 4/5 Blurb- 2/5 Plot & Story- 3.5/5 Narration & Characterization- 4/5 Language & Editing- 3/5
“Secretly Yours” is a story of seventeen year old boy Sahil who leads the ‘normal’ life of a teenager in the quaint hills of Shimla. He lost his parents in a young age and is being raised by his uncle and grandmother. He loves music and doesn’t really have close friends until Anya comes along. Anya, has her own bag of secrets. The story is about her secrets and what follows when Sahil learns of it. This story was one mixed pot for me. It’s been a good ten days since I finished reading the book, yet I was torn between liking it and hating it. After a lot of deliberation here is what I concluded,
1. The writing was simple and fluidic, but was marred with excessive usage of clichés. For example, the protagonist can be in love with the female lead but still use the choicest of expletives when thinking about her.
2. The characterization lacked finesse. Sahil’s grandmother is portrayed as a woman who hates yet loves Sahil, but she hardly is there for him. In sense, the story simply revolves just around teenagers who aren’t under adult supervision even when there is an adult present in the story. Anaya’s character was the only character which was actually developed and had prefect dimensions to it. Sahil’s character was typical and plain. The writer seemed to be a bit lost when it came to emotions. For Example, Shail and Anaya call each other “boyfriend” and “girlfriend”. That is nothing short of superficial. In stark contrast, there was this scene when Anaya visits her parents. I could feel her agony there.
3. The plot wasn’t exactly airtight nevertheless was fast paced with twists at the right place. However, these twists had eerie similarities to the story of Twilight. The writer incorporated serious social issues like rape and suicide, but dealt with them with kid gloves. I felt like the writer needed something to justify the conflicts and motives of his supernatural characters, so he brought in these social issues. To me, the shock value of the inhumane acts mentioned was lost due to this light treatment.
4. Editing could have been a bit tighter. The climax was predictable.
"It's beautiful when you live for the one you love, but it's beyond commendable when you die for the one you had always love."
With a concept beyond imagination, a concept which has been unheard since a long time, or the one which wasn't paid much heed to was revived with the words of Vikrant Khanna, the one who was penned down his very recent creation Secretly Yours with Penguin India. A book which defines pain, misery, love, friendship and most of all, the voices which die unheard. This paranormal romantic thriller, has developed a new genre in itself, the genre to love beyond imagination, beyond boundaries and beyond the existing world.
Sahil, a troubled soul, who's still in the search of his passion finds his answers in her. She makes him live, enjoy the colours of life, the fragrance of happiness and the love of people around him. He knew well what he had to do, what he needed to live for, and how, it was all in her, for her smile. Until, he knew there was something beyond the mystery of her eyes, the touch of her palm and the nose which lingered from delicacy to delicacy. He tried to find out, until life lost him, only to give him a curse and a boon to read minds, the question was, how would it feel, if one has the ability to read the mind of the person he loves?
Anya, the mystery. The one who said a million words of wisdom but couldn't fulfil one wish he desired for, her love. She had her reasons, he had his, but the cupid was struck, and the rest was history until she turned to be a open book to him, secrets weren't secrets anymore but in the end the unexpected happened. Love won beyond boundaries of the worlds.
As this mystery unfolds, the author has managed to grip the reader between the pages of the book, in the story of Anya and Sahil as it is a test of curiosity to turn to the next page as early as possible. The thrill it made me live, it is one commendable piece of mystery, love, and the paranormal era.
A must read. Hats off Mr. Vikrant Khanna! It's formidable.
Here goes my review on the book "Secretly Yours" Synopsis: Everyone has secrets . . . but is hers the most shocking?
My Review: The book starts on a good note; the synopsis of the book was the catch as it tempted me to pick this book. I won’t say I am disappointed, but the book is completely different from what I thought it would be. The characters are well etched. But it’s based on a paranormal story. The story is woven around effortlessly but I found it very emotionally draining and disturbing.
The author has used the paranormal theme beautifully, but it’s just not another breezy read book you would feel good about after your read. A good piece of work if you enjoy the genre of suspense, thrillers, mystery. A sequel is on the cards, I hope he is able to hold the attention and the surprise element there too.
I would rate the book 2.5/5 as the attractive book cover and unique theme/blurb are catchy enough to make you buy without thinking twice. But as the story progressed I realized how misleading it was.
Lesson Learnt : The best way to read this book is to not expect anything from the blurb and go as per the flow.
The protagonist is a 17 year old Sahil, who has lost his parents and blames himself for that. He stays with his grandmother, a sibling and his cousin. He is one person who has everything and yet nothing. The book portays that he loves music and less of studies. This teenager’a life is unlike most of the teenagers in the nation. He takes to self-harm,drinking and smoking. He has little interest in life until he meets the enigmatic, too positive and mysterious Anya to whom he had to teach guitar. The seventeen-year-old protagonist falls in love with this mysterious girl and makes friends with her bunch of friends who are weird too. Apparently, Anya and her bunch of friends believe that Sahil can never get Anya. Sahil is heartbroken and in a turn of events he meets with an accident, that kills his grandmother and lands him in the hospital with a coma. Them he recovers gets Anya back and mind reads. Sahil has a strained relationship with everyone around him. The accident brings him close to people around him but he is still obsessed with Anya. Highly over thinking for a seventeen-year-old. He discovers Anya and her gang’s secret and has a Twilight moment in their house like how Bella had in Edward ‘s. If you are intrigued and what to know what the secret is, pick up the book and no, she is not a vampire. You can read the entire review here: http://www.ramyarao.com/2016/08/book-...
