I read this series a while back and forgot to write my review. I'm trying to remember it all. I know that it was a dark book and I was glad that I had all the books so that I wouldn't have to keep getting them.
Megan doesn't know that her dad is going to use her to pay back a debt. She has tried to give him the benefit of doubt. He just seems to keep screwing up. Even after what he does to Michael he still doesn't learn his lesson.
Michael is owed a debt and he can't believe that he is even listening to Eric. Why would he want someone's daughter? That is until he see's her. He knows that he has to have her and have her he will.
I really liked this series. I got all ten books together so I will just post the same review to the other five. I enjoyed the way this author brought her story. I enjoyed seeing these two come together. I really didn't know what I thought about Michael at first. He grew on me and I learned to love him.
I really can't stand Michael's dad and what he puts Megan through.

Michael is entrusting his father to look after Megan while he's gone to take care of Eric, but little does he know what is actually going on. Anthony is getting worse with regards to Megan and what he is forcing her to do. She wants nothing to do with him but is scared of what might happen with her relationship with Michael. Surprisingly Anthony decides to divulge some information to Megan about his son that has left her reeling and confused about how she should feel.
In this book you can feel how conflicted Megan is about what she knows she should do, but what she actually does. Her naivete comes across the pages because things I would automatically have thought of about the situation, she never does. However, I think had she had a mother growing up--not to mention a better father--she may have been aware of the possibilities of her predicament with Anthony. Makes for a great story though!

I'm absolutely loving this series the books keep getting better and better with each one. Megan and Michael are so easy to fall in love with and I'm ready to read the rest in this series the suspense is keeping me on my toes and I'm dying to find out what's going to happen. This is Part 7 and warning you must read books 1-6 before starting this one. Alexa keep up the great work I'm addictive to this series a great read

I love how this story is unfolding between Megan and Michael, with Eric, Anthony and Linda. Both Megan and Michael have fathers who are trouble. Michael is off saving Megan’s father Eric, and Michael’s father Anthony is out to blackmail Megan with an event that happened between them that he caused.

I like this story buy I do not Anthony and what is happening with him and Megan . The story is getting more and more interesting.
