Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through.
My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers.
We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!

It was so confusing how a dad and a son had to swap bodies. I think the theme of this story is that you should always stay indoors during a storm.

Cute. Relatable. (Though not the body-swap thing xD)

I actually wish that even I get body-swapped with my mom.. So that she can see, that there are so many things I can't tell her, and what actually goes on with me, in my head.😐

Back to the story.. I would just like to say that I was completely heartbroken when,

At some points I just couldn't stop laughing xD
I love this book so much!!!

All of Katrina Kahler's books are just so sweet and so much fun to read!!💜💜

This is a terrific book. A boys take on Freaky Friday. It also is a father and son who swap which makes it laugh out loud funny in parts. Tom is Jack' s best friend, but he doesnt find out until book 3 about the switch. Dad is a teacher at Jack's school. Jack was having a very hard time with his teacher and his father had to step in. Later Jacks dad saw him in the hall talking and called him out about not being at football practice. He talked to him in front of everyone including the teacher. He went to the field, being late, the coach called him out. His father was there and made him apologize to the team for being late and then run laps. Jack was not happy. There was a storm and they were trying to get to the car, lightning struck while they were trying to climb a fence. When they got in the car Jack kept hitting his head and dads feet didn't fit the peddles. AAaarg, from Jack. AAaarg, from dad. They looked at each other, but really themselves.

I found this book on a Kindle Unlimited website and

Not finished

Body swap is not very original theme, but the story was quite good. Unfortunately, if you want to know how the story will continue, you need to buy another book.

Kinda Good

I rate it a 4 star
I dislike cause I really don't know if it's for kids 9-12 because it says bad words.
But overall the book was good

I think that this book is is really funny and hilarious because of a 12 year old boy named Jack Stevenson wakes up from a freak accident one day and finds himself in his dad's body, his life abruptly becomes one huge disaster after another. When he realizes that his dad will have to go to school in his place, things instantly get much, much worse. Also he wanted to be the leader of football and ask his Girlfriend Holly to the dance and his friend Tom was encouraging him to run away from danger when the coach and Jack’s dad were talking about jack and tom also helped his friend Jack go invite Holly to go to the dance with him but he kept missing up and he called holly dad instead of holly. I would recommend this book to my classmates because it is really hilarious an my classmates would laugh a lot because of this book, also yes there is a series and I would continue all of the series to find out what happens next of Jack Stevenson, his father, his girlfriend, his coach, and his best friend Tom.

Body Mix

Jack is a cool kid, his dad a serious teacher. Now they have to deal
With each other’s problems, because a freak lighting strike changed
them to each other’s bodies. Read all the crazy antics they go through. As they learn how to deal with all the problems. Especially
In dealing with the dating department. Funny antics through out the story. No boring parts any where in the book. Great for kids who
don’t like reading.

Pretty Good

I recall liked this book but in some parts it got confusing on who is who! Was the dad Jack or really the dad? I figured it out though so all good. I can not believe they did not believe Jack! Poor Holly, I would have reacted the same way. IT WAS A CLIFFHANGER THOUGH! WHY!!???? 😫😓 when I see there is another book...🤑

Fun for boys

Cute story about a Freaky Friday type father and son duo. Funny laugh out loud moments. Some verbiage isn't authentic in the way kids speak, but a good read nonetheless.

The author's grammar was frustrating and she should double check the book because it was distracting, however the story war really funny. I read it to my son and was disappointed at the boy's attitude towards his dad. My son said it reminded him of Alvin and the Chipmunks tho.

It was okay... I feel the author could have explored other ways that body swapping might manifest but they chose to use an existing template
Ends on a cliffhanger to entice you to read the next coz the problem is not solved

Very fun and good book even though the storyline is a lil bit cliche. And you gotta continue the second book to know what's gonna happen next.
