This is a review for vol 1-3 + extra
This is an urban fantasy light novel series. MC can see spirits so he can see ML, his classmate, always have a dark spirit stuck to his back, while ML doesn’t believe anything supernatural. I was worried that this would veer into horror genre, and, thankfully, it doesn’t. I found the MC’s straightforwardness and social ineptitude very adorable. The plot development and the romance are well-balanced. Because all the commercial non-smut BL novels that I had read in the last few months before this have just one sex scene per volume, so it’s very refreshing(?) to find more sex scenes in volume 1. But I found the vol 2 and the extra stories have too many repetitive sex scenes that I feel like the author was just using them to fill up the pages. Volume 3 strikes a much better balance on the number of sex scenes to my liking.
