M.J. Pack, a horror fiction writer, has been obsessed with all things scary since she was a little girl growing up in the Midwest. Graduating quickly from Goosebumps to Stephen King at the tender age of 8, she dreamed of becoming a writer one day. After a brief stint in the world of marketing, she was able to make this dream a reality thanks to an amazing opportunity from the popular website Thought Catalog.
She now spends her days producing creepy content for the horror-loving masses, from short fiction to serials to true crime coverage. She considers Stephen King her role model and chief source of inspiration as a writer — as well as the ultimate career goal.
M.J. is the author of "Certain Dark Things," "Ravenous: Small Stories With Big Appetites," and "Highville State Asylum."
