An M/M and M/F Contemporary Romance Series. Written from the perspectives of both male and female, gay and straight characters.
With a wedding in the works, Luke and Brent may finally find the peace they need in their lives. Tad is happy with Marissa, and the gym is more successful than ever. Life, once again, is almost too good to be true. Claire lives to support those around her and provide them with warmth and love, but a mysterious woman from her past brings back memories she's locked away, hoping never to be visited again. Will the past she’s tried to leave behind catch up to her and destroy her chance at a happy future? Carson and Riley find themselves at an impasse. Carson’s newly assigned partner is a young, hot and flirty gay male, which plants seeds of doubt in Riley’s mind. His rash decisions and ultimatum land him in the worst possible scenario. His year has been rough but it's about to get much rougher.
The Promises Series is an M/M and M/F romantic collaboration by authors Aria Grace and Kyan Christopher.
I'm going to do this review a little different from my others: Carson & Riley- Riley jumped to conclusions without talking to Carson, we never learned what really happened when he was chosen and what Carson did with the little information he got from Riley. Claire & Robin- I liked that Claire found someone that made her happy, she totally deserves it. Her sister was too pushy. Brent & Luke- I wanted more of them but I was very happy with the ending. Tad & Marissa- Yay- that's just what they needed. Phil & Richie- scared the crap out of me for a minute there- not funny with the bridge and the car. I like them- the two of them. They were my second favorite couple behind Brent and Luke, I didn't think they needed anything to make them better. Not that it was a bad surprise but I like the two of them together, just the two of them together...just Phil and Richie
Once again Aria Grace and Kyan Christopher have done a fantastic job with their characters! I enjoyed this book, probably too much! It here is some great love in this book. Claire tells her story and my heart broke for her. I didn't see the relationship with Phil and Richie going where it did. A nice surprise though! And then we hear a little from Tad and Marrissa. Nice! Very nicely done! Keep Me!
I'm not sure what to say about the last book in this series. I was really looking forward to Carson and Riley becoming a couple, but they were already together when the book begins. I was really disappointed with that. Secondly, Phil and Ritchie's relationship took an unexpected turn. I was not expecting that and it came completely out of left field.
I love this 3rd book in this series! We finally got to hear about Claire's story. Made me want to cry. Phil and Richie took a twist I was NOT expecting! And then we got to visit more with Tad and Marissa. Oh boy, how sweet! This is another excellent read from Kyan Christopher and Aria Grace.
I would have given it 5 stars but I'm feel like the story is incomplete there seems to so many loose ends left untied and I just feel like there should be more and I hope there will be.
I need to give this book more stars. Love the genre crossing, MF, MM FF and MMM. The Sculpt family are alway their for each other, though drama and good times.
