Snap Shots: Life Bites, Book 1

Rate this book
These stories were created from writing exercises where a picture prompt is used to create a story with a beginning, a middle, and a an end in only one hundred and fifty words. Not easy to do but a great help as an author who tends to overwrite.

Since the theme to my novels is to write about women who overcome emotional and physical challenges and become empowered, I decided to write my shorts about women and give the reader a snap shot glimpse into the lives of modern day women and all that could mean. It occurred to me that I should share these stories with readers as a way to introduce them to my writing style and my novels. Thus the title Snap Shots, Life Bites. This is Book 1 of an intended series and they will be offered for free. I hope you enjoy them.

Some of my stories are inspired from childhood memories, life experiences of my own and the people in my life. So a big thank you to everyone who have influenced my life in one way or another, positively or negatively. It’s all good. The stories themselves are pure fiction.

If you like well written and very short stories - this is your book. There are several mini-stories in this anthology, some are funny, some are sweet and there are a couple that are quite touching.

At the end of the book, June gives a couple of samples of two of her novels in the Georgia Series. These are both good books as I have already read them quite some time ago.

The only reason I gave this four stars is because there are some stories that I wished were longer.
