This was an ok read for me. It was very Hallmark-y. Isaiah was summoned home to a small town in Nevada by his parents to tend to family matter. While there, he fell for the girl who grew up down the street. That same girl who's trying to get her family's bakery to thrive. 3.7⭐
This was a cute story. Tessa and Isaiah were good together. Both of them came had family businesses and were trying to level up. Tessa’s mom was annoying. I’ll probably get around to reading the rest of the series.
I love this author's writing, and this book was so good. It made for a cozy, sweet, yet sexy read. Being a small town girl myself, I love reading about other small towns (fictional or not) where people in the community all know each other and feel like family. In this story, Isaiah and Tessa were both in a place in their lives that hinged on inheriting and moving forward with their family businesses. While Tessa was frustratingly chomping at the bit to have a bigger role in the family's bakery with her sister, Isaiah was practically conned into coming home to have a more active role in a business that he wasn't sure he was ready for yet. It was interesting watching this parallel play out between the two main characters.
Tessa and Isaiah were a beautiful couple, and I enjoyed seeing them get to know each other again. Their openness and honesty was a joy to read. It's a wonderful thing when couples connect with each other on a deeper level. Although, it definitely didn't hurt that the chemistry between them was super sexy either!🔥🔥😂😂
Anyway, both Tessa's parents and Isaiah's parents were a pair of feisty, sassy people, especially Isaiah's mother, Irene. "What did you do, Isaac?!" 😂 She did not hesitate to set Isaac straight! I also loved the relationships Tessa and Isaiah each had with their own siblings. I adored them all so much! And... I look forward to seeing what's to come, if anything, of Dana (Tessa's sister) and Aiden (Dana's asshole neighbor...her words, not mine!😂😂). Sounds like it's going to be a fun enemies-to-lover type thing!
Although Noble Love was a little bit more spicier than I’m accustomed to, it was steep in family first values. I was taken aback by the tearful events, but I guess sometimes it takes tragedy to produce other victories. Te’ Russ really captures the readers by presenting them with the undertone message of tomorrow not being promised. And she causes her readers to reflect both on family and new love, as sisters Tessa & Dana are experiencing the evolving of both, she also shows how sacrificing plays a huge roll in families. Overall, I would recommend this read to those struggling with the notion of whether the family should be first but caution my single ladies of the steamy sexual content by saying read at your own risk... Does book one make you desire to read book two, three, and four? Definitely!
This is my first read by this author. I was looking for something new and different to read, found this on my Kindle and thought ‘Why not?’ I’ve read good things about the other in a couple of my FB groups, but have never idea why I’ve never read any of her books. Glad I finally decided to take the plunge. Doubly glad I decided on this series.
Great cast of characters, with the side characters as interesting and fun as the main characters. Loved both sets of parents; the Isaac situation caught me off-guard and almost had me in tears. The town sounds super cute, too,
The good thing about starting this series late is that I don’t have to wait for the other quad’s stories and can move right on to Ian’s story. I think I’ve guessed who he he’s going to end up with, so I’m looking forward to how that story goes.
This book is the first of a new series about the Noble Family: Isaac, Irene(parents), and their Noble Quads: Isaiah, Ian, Ivy, and Izzy. This book introduces us to the new family , but the main focus is on Isaiah(first born of the quads). Isaiah is called by his father because he wants help with the family business Noble Naturals. He runs into Tess at her family business and they develop a relationship from there.
I loved the idea of family, family businesses, and the togetherness that they shared. This was a great beginning to a new series and I'll definitely be waiting on Ian's story next.
Interesting concept, where the older children of community family businesses come together. Isaiah being the elder son, and the next in line to head Noble Natural. It was sweet that Tessa who was the elder daughter, and co manager of Everett's Treat. Would find love. There story is precious as they understand the dynamics of carrying on the family legacy. With a unforeseen tragedy that brings them closer together, it shows how important it is to have someone in your corner during the good and bad times.
This story was a great read! I loved Tessa and Isaiah together, there attraction was evident from the beginning. The quadruplets are so in tune and I felt the heartbreak when Isaac the patriarch entered the hospital. I knew it would not be a happy ending! Poor Mama Irene! I am anticipating reading the other novels in this series. Te' Russ is off to a great start. A few missed words but a great novel anyhow!
This is a sweet romance about love, heat, steam with a touch of sadness, strong family bond and letting go. I enjoyed the sibling dynamics, laughing at the antics of Dana and Aiden, Tessa's feisty nature and isaiah's determination. I look forward to reading about the other siblings.
Loved way the author moved the story along. The characters were well developed. Loved the way the love stories of both sets of parents were used as a springboard for children to develop their own relationships. Good book and it was a quick read. I need more of this family stories.
When you have so many books on your Kindle and you make the conscious decision to stop 1-Clicking your life away on Amazon, you will discover that you have some great hidden gems unread that will finally get to see the light of day. This is what I am discovering, now that I am reading books I already own it is quite exhilarating and exciting because these stories are just excellent. This is what I have discovered with author Te Russ, her books are so, so good.
Isaiah Noble has returned to Sweet Rapids, Nevada to help his parents with their company, Isaac reaches out and make a plea for him to return because there is a new competitor that is trying to take over the family company. Isaiah comes back but he is reluctant because he has his own promising life and career along with his twin brother and twin sisters, each living their lives to the fullest in careers that they love. But Isaiah being pulled out of his mom's tummy first, the quadruplets look to Isaiah first as their leader. But when Isaiah returns home, he finds that his father was not being truthful and storms out of his office. And what could have been a disaster turns into something rather pleasant when he walk's into Everett Bakery before the store is due to open for the day.
Tessa Everette and her sister Dana Everette have taken over the family bakery, they have strong ideas and plans for expansion of the store. The problem is their mother's refusal to back out and off so she can retire. Their dad has already stepped down and he want's his wife to do the same but he knows that if his wife doesn't back off, the girls will leave the bakery and their will be a rift in the family. Their dad is totally on board with the changes but its his wife that is having the problem. Tessa and her sister are frustrated and ready to just give it up but one morning before opening, Isaiah Noble walks into the bakery looking to pick up his mom's favorite treats and comes face to face with Tessa.
Isaiah is starting to see that maybe the trip back home will not be a bust after all, Tessa is starting to see maybe my prayers are being answered. Come and see Isaiah and Tessa embark on a friendship that leads to love and romance, but everything isn't as perfect because once family situations and issues come into play, misunderstanding and a devastating loss, can these two weather the storm not only for themselves and each other but with their families, is it possible that there will be a rainbow on the other side for them? You will have to read their story to find out.
All four books of this series is now available so you won't have to wait until the next book is released. Next book up is "Noble Surrender (The Nobles of Sweet Rapids Book 2)" which is twin Ian Noble's story.
Nobel Naturals and Everett's Bakery are basically landmarks in Sweet Rapids. The Nobels and The Everett's started their businesses from the ground up and plan to keep them for generations. The difference between the two is the Nobels are willing to grow their business while the current Matriarch of the Everett family has an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it attitude." Her daughter's, Dana and Tessa are currently keeping the bakery busy and trying hard to increase profits by adding new menu items. Mom is not having it. Patriarch of the Nobel clan Issac is scheming to get what he's always wanted, his quads - that he made ALL BY HIMSELF, to come home and run the family business. Papa Issac convinces Isaiah, the first one out, therefore the oldest of the 4 to come home and "save the business." His first stop, Everett's bakery, where Tessa is getting ready for the day. She knows exactly who he is and even though they're not open, she gets his mom's usual order together for him. They zing at the slightest touch...I love the electric affect of Sweet Rapids. What really surprises Tessa, Isaiah knows exactly who she is. I loved the ease of Tessa and Isaiah's relationship. Their commonalities worked well for them, and the love wasn't rushed, but natural. Even when tragedy hit, the things that needed to be said, were said. I'm ready for Ian's story now. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌠
I loved Tessa and Isaiah together. Loved that they didn't beat around the bush with their interest in each other, enjoyed the similarities they shared with having stubborn parents, and the bonds they each had with their siblings. One thing I really loved was that Tessa actually apologized when she was wrong, and while Isaiah ultimately accepted her apology, he didn't let her off the hook...I don't see much of that in books I've read and it's refreshing. They wanted to be together and showed it. And there was no needless third act breakup.
This was the first book by this author that I've read so I didn't know what to expect. The book started really slow and choppy as we got the facts behind both families and how they came about. That was irritating but I'm not one to quit early in the game. Once the main characters met, the story started to flesh out and their love story evolved. It wasn't rushed and there was alot more to it than sex which was good. I'm intrigued by the other quads and their stories so I'll be purchasing the rest of this series.
Tessa and Isaiah are big the oldest siblings and used to having things go their way and taking care of the younger kids. What they weren’t expecting was for sparks to fly once Isaiah returned home from California. The challenge is Tessa doesn’t want to leave her family business and Isaiah isn’t committed to staying. Their courting and relationship was cute and I enjoyed their siblings and respective parents. This was a cute book and I enjoyed reading this author fir the first time.
This was my first book by this author and I will say that I'm now a fan of her work. I instantly fell in love with not only the Noble's but the Everett's as well. And I absolutely loved the resounding love and connection between Isaiah and Tessa. I can't wait to see what happens next with this couple and this family as a whole. And I'm so hoping that Dana has her own story somewhere. Her and Aiden were funny and exciting to read about. Great job Mrs. Russ
really enjoyed this one. a great start to this series about the Noble quadruplets. I can't wait to read the rest of the books. We get to meet Isaiah's brother and sisters and i'm so intrigued by each of them.
This book also included the start of something between Tessa's sister Dana and her neighbour which is further explored in a novella.
I love series where each sibling gets their own book wit a HEA :D
This cover drew me in right away. Black love on display. The contrast of that sexy melanin and the crisp white! GAH. This author is my new go-to when I want a raw, real, fluffy, feel-good romance. I finish her books in hours, and it makes me feel like a teenager again. I always end the book with a smile on my face, and this one was no different.
Great Read. I loved Isiah and him siblings bond. I hate what happened to issac he really loved his wife and children. The bond that Tessa and Dana have is so beautiful. I hope there will be a book on Dana and aiden they were so funny to me. I loved Isiah and Tessa been together they bought the best out of each other
Set in Sweet Rapids, NV between Lake Tahoe and Reno - this was an especially fun book as it’s set locally to me. The story of two family businesses and the oldest child making their mark on that business while falling it love with each other. Lots of sexy times and HEA for the couple, and their businesses.
Isaiah and Tess both grew up in Sweet Rapids and both of their families have businesses rooted in the community. When Isaiah is summoned back to his hometown, Tess immediately catches his eye while working in her families bakery. This story was filled with lots of love and insights on family dynamics and obligations. Great story and interesting characters.
Ok this was a feel good book with a bit of a kick in the teeth twist in it. I cried when Mr. No all didn’t make it and I’m sorry for the spoiler bit in my review, but it has to be an honest review right? That was something I did not see coming. Thats what I like about this book, because if I can predict a lot of what going to happen then why read it. Five star book.
I really have to say I can’t wait to read more about the Nobles of Sweet Rapids. Not to mention I really want to know more about Tessa’s feisty sister Dana. I’m pretty sure that Isaiah and Tessa’ love is going to continue to blossom. Got to rest my eye and then on to “A noble surrender ☺️
Another sweet romance one from the author! I truly enjoyed Tessa and Isaiah story and how they overcome their individual struggles with regard to their family businesses while also exploring their feelings for each other. Té Russ' writing never disappoint and I just can't wait to read the next books about the rest of the quadruplets.
Got to love a love story about black beautiful love. No drama just love at its finesse. Coming into their own and the exception of family business both next up Tessa n Isaiah showed us passion for life, love n family
This book was everything. Sweet woman who wants to run her own bakery. A son who really didn't want to come home to run his family business. These two make the pages sizzle with their chemistry. You get a sneak peek of the other siblings as well !
I enjoyed this so much. Can't day much without giving away the book. I am looking forward to reading the others in these great series. The only thing about being late reading diamonds like this is I get to go straight to the next. Great book, highly recommended.
