I read this series a while back and forgot to write my review. I'm trying to remember it all. I know that it was a dark book and I was glad that I had all the books so that I wouldn't have to keep getting them.
Megan doesn't know that her dad is going to use her to pay back a debt. She has tried to give him the benefit of doubt. He just seems to keep screwing up. Even after what he does to Michael he still doesn't learn his lesson.
Michael is owed a debt and he can't believe that he is even listening to Eric. Why would he want someone's daughter? That is until he see's her. He knows that he has to have her and have her he will.
I really liked this series. I got all ten books together so I will just post the same review to the other five. I enjoyed the way this author brought her story. I enjoyed seeing these two come together. I really didn't know what I thought about Michael at first. He grew on me and I learned to love him.

Megan thinks that her and Michael have finally found their happy place, only to have that feeling dashed by his father Anthony yet again. Anthony views Megan as nothing but a toy to be played with, which is bad enough, but it is even worse since she belongs to his son! He's definitely written as a great villain, but I still wouldn't mind seeing him slip off the slide of the cliff. After yet another horrific run in with Anthony, Megan just wants to wrapped up in her lover's arms, but unfortunately that can't happen right now. When something catches Michael's eye at his own house, he enlists Megan to help cause a diversion so he can get to the bottom of it. Causing a diversion, however, is the last thing Megan wants to do...
The drama and suspense get ratcheted up several notches in this book! The things Michael uncovers will have your mind spinning and rushing to read the final installment in the series!!

Megan is yet again blackmailed by Michael’s father Anthony just when they are starting to move forward in their relationship. Michael discovers something concerning in the island house that involves Jarrod and ask Megan to distract Anthony and Jarrod while he checks it out. Michael finds one missing link of the puzzle why his father is in trouble and bursts in on Anthony trying to rape Megan.

Michael and Megan are finally happy and yet again his father comes in and destroys their happiness. Michael is also wanting to find out more about his dad's friend and enlist Megan's help with this only Megan gets used during this process. I most definitely do not like Anthony.
