I know better than to read a book I see repeatedly recommended online by people I don’t know. But I wanted something quick and easy and hot.
This author constantly changed perspectives… one sentence is from one MC and the other is from the other MC. Over and over and over. It’s mind bogglingly bad writing that even the sex can’t save.

I don’t normally write reviews for erotica so I’ll just say this: Sadie Sins has an excellent way with words to make something titillating and intense. The premise of “plot” in this book is kinda-sorta ridiculous (bullied for being beautiful?), but it doesn’t matter. You’re here for the porn. Great BDSM, the relationship that develops is sweet, I liked the dynamic of the student being the dominant.

I liked this book. It was kinky, it was hot and the bdsm really did it for me. It’s true there’s not a lot of plot, and the story is total fantasy, but it was a fun read.

Sadie Sins has a remarkable talent for writing extremely hot erotica - there's not a whole lot more to say.
Though I do want to note that the background plot, never a necessity for erotica, is so off the walls nuts that I was fascinated by it. What on earth was going on? High school-ish dynamics, yet supposedly college...whatever, it was hilarious. Oddly sweet in the end too.

I'll start by saying - the author writes smut. That's what she declares and that's what it is.
I read this book for the sexy scenes and wasn't disappointed
Beau is a starry-eyed and self-righteous teacher who finds himself in a world of corrupt, spoiled men.
Darrien grew up in said-world and is intantly in-lust with the new teacher, wanting to possess him in every way.
He offers to protect his teacher in return for a price.
This book isn't for everyone.
If you're here for the plot you are sorely misdirected. This book is about the taboo sexual relationship between a teacher and his student.
There is a lot of dub-con which the writer is notoriously known for and even admits to.
A lot of the sex scenes are not what I'd call traditional BDSM - there is no real negotioation and there is a very obvious power-imbalance.
I loved it and give it 5 stars not because it's a greatly written book, but because it does what the author intended for it to do - it's sexy and titillating.
Two of it's stronger point:
-The sex scenes were amazingly steamy
-The characters interaction was fun to read
The world builiding was kinda out-there. on one hand you had the characters in a desolate middle-of-nowhere high-class school, on the other hand the teacher was living in a dirt-poor pad. So I didn't really understand the landscape of what I was reading.We never understand how the other teachers act in such environment as the characters hardly interact with them.
But despite all of that the story works because of the interesting dynamic between the two characters, and the fact that the in my opinion the characters are well-rounded and eventually the relationship that buds between them is genuine and sweet in it's twisted little way.

I came across this book as a rec from the M/M Book Recs Facebook group the other day and had to read it so here we go:
Beau has been tormented his whole life for having beautiful, feminine looks and everyone assuming he is part of the LGBTQIA+ community so his previous bullies in all walks of life have tried to overpower him when he can't physically defend himself. When he starts teaching at his new private school, he comes into contact with new bullies but is quickly saved by Darien. Darien wants Beau any way he can have him and first starts out offering protection services for $500 but then settles for $50 and the "trading of services" from Beau. Beau reluctantly agrees to do it with the condition that they don't get caught or lose his teaching job.
When Darien first kisses Beau, he realizes that was what has been missing from his life. He always needs to be in control and wants someone to take over, but also cherish him after ruining him. Darien does this in full-force and Beau finds out how quickly he falls for him.
The spice level in this is a 5/5 for being super descriptive and raunchy (may not be for everyone, but it makes this story)
**ALL CHARACTERS ARE 18 AND OLDER**
Despite being a bully romance, we do get an excellent HEA.

Belum pernah baca buku yang tingkat kekerasannya seperti ini, kedua karakter utama menganut sadomasochism, Darien seorang sadist dan Beau seorang masochist. Di sini Beau merupakan korban kekerasan bukan hanya dari Darien tapi dari orang lain. Sangat tidak tega membaca pada saat MCnya diperlakukan seburuk itu sebelum mendapatkan happy ending.

I rather liked the first book, but I feel like it unfortunately got less interesting as they developed a better relationship. I think I also don't find the 'ml-sharing-his-mc-with-random-helpers' to be an interesting trope. I like it when all the ml and Mc have mutual liking, but I'm not really into the pimping vibe. Or maybe if the Mc was independently finding others - that can sometimes be gut-wrenching and sexy. But an Mc going along with the ml's desires just to show everyone how completely obedient he is? Meh
