Although it followed canon far too closely at times, it also did it's best to avoid rehashing the entire thing. This fanfic is literally 'What if Harry Potter happened the same way with Harry being more logical but essentially magically powerless'.
Chapter 5 was a distinct weak point in this fanfic, supposedly just like canon. Sirius really shouldn't have died if they had the honest relationship and easy way to communicate established in this fanfic.
