Reciting from Memory is walk through the past en route to a better appreciation for the present. These poems read like tight little stories, glimpses into both the simplicity and complexity of growing up in America’s pre-digital heartland. They roam and meander their way up to the dock up at the lake and then kick it into gear on a twelve lane highway of Los Angeles. Along the journey, sorrow and sadness are buffeted by unbridled joy and happiness. It is a literary road trip you won’t want to miss.
