Julie is randomly obsessed with painting everything
My copy has the pages cut off or oddly spaced. I have a few pages that have the top line cut off… so that was a weird flow issue

The Secrets of Droon is a good series. It follows two boys and a girl who find a magical entrance to the land of Droon in the basement of one of their houses and thus begins many adventures for the three of them. Our library only has one of these books, and it happens to be book #20, In the Ice Caves of Krog. It was really good, but was definitely for a younger audience. It is for about 3rd grade reading level, and I think that is a good age for this series. The book would be really exciting and fast paced for this age group. I'm sure it's a great series for young readers who are looking to move up to chapter books.
One of the things I like about this series is the kindness of the characters. Sure they’re fighting evil monsters, but the kids often stop to consider “what made these monsters evil” and “how different from me are they really?” I like that. It’s also a great adventure story.
If you read the Secrets of Droon, do it in order, there is so much you will miss if you don't, The Stories get better and the characters start feeling like family, I am enjoying the series as much as my son did. This is a good read.
We took a long break in the middle of reading this one, so my memory of the beginning is a little fuzzy. But I'm very interested in the Prince of the stars with the emerald eyes. Love the characters and the world building.
I kind of liked this book because the story was exciting. I think it was cool how Eric knew that Krog was the prince by looking in Krog's eyes. Krog's eyes were green.
I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great after all these years. It was an exciting read with some new characters, some not as evil as you would think who are rather mysterious. We have some exciting surprises including Eric's powers. A good read with a mysterious plot , good action and a chilly winter time setting.
This is one of the most interesting ones of the series so far. I thought it was pretty good. It was a great story. I can't believe Krog wasn't even dangerous to the kids. Krog is just a mean beast that lives in the ice caves and breaths fire.
The Golden Wasp and The Knights of Silversnow are back! Throw in some wraiths, a winged snowman monster and a Prince of Stars - this is one amazing adventure!
