I fell in love with an underage girl.

The day we met she downed a bottle of pills and tried to jump off a bridge.

Not exactly the love story you want to tell your grandchildren, is it?

I could go into detail. Give you the nitty gritty, but I'm worried that the details won't matter when you find out just how badly I messed everything up...

Hmmmmm new excuse for cheating- poor dude lost his memory due to an injury, forgot he loved the h and fell into another woman's vagina. But he had also tripped and landed in a vagina while waiting for her to age up. This guy is unfortunately very clumsy. My heart breaks for him!

WOW just WOW words cannot explain how much I loved this book.. This is book 2 in the Cerberus MC. This is Dustin “Kid” Andrews & Khloe Devaro’s book. We start with Khloe and Alec.. They love each other and are waiting till Alec gets back from his 6 mo deployment. Next we see Khloe gets rocked with horrific news that her Best Friend and Fiancé has been killed in Iraq.. She of course learns of this via Social Media.. because Alec’s parents don’t like her and of course wouldn’t tell her. Khloe is of course devastated.. the local MC has decided to do a Memorial for the fallen hero.. and this is where Kid sees the beautiful but devastated Khloe from a distance.. He notices something is off with her, he sees her pop something into her mouth then try and get up.. she starts to stumble.. this is when he decides he needs to follow her. He of course catches her just as she is ready to end it all..
Kid is known as a ladies man..he has been with all the women in the club.. well all but the Pres’s girl.. he made it his mission.. a different woman every country he goes to.. he cant see why his President has decided to settle for just one woman.. that is until he sees Khloe.. The one thing stopping Kid from claiming Khloe in that one way is she is just 17.. one more month and she will be legal.. I love how Kid changes right before your eyes.. he now knows what his president feels.. when you have the love of that one woman.. you don’t need all the others.. But what happens when Kid is on a mission out of town and there is a accident.. he loses his memory.. will he remember Khloe?
This book is soooooooo full of heartache.. I literally messaged Marie and told her she was breaking my heart into millions of little pieces.. I am a sucker for MC books and this one has to be one of my TOP FAVS!!!
Thank you soo very much for letting me read this beautiful story… I absolutely loved it!!!!

3.5 MC-Lite Stars
Kid is the second book of the Cerberus MC series. (I skipped book 1 and didn’t feel lost) The series has a lite-ish MC feel. The members are former Devil Dogs Marines, and their club is this sort of special-ops mercenary group that saves kidnapped victims. This part is not very detailed. We get a little of them going on missions, but not much. They’re not criminals, or overly tough acting. They actually cry sometimes, talk about their feelings, and treat their special ladies well…hell, even the “club skanks” are treated decently. They’re not wimpy, but not the typical asshole/violent/disrespectful MC H either.

Khloe (17) is in a desperate situation and decides to commit suicide when Kid (24) saves her. Long story short, she’s had a shit life and has zero options, so Kid brings her into the MC fold. The two are instantly attracted to each other. (insta-love-ish) but Kid is holding back until the big day. Seventeen is the legal age in NM, but he’s determined to hold her off for the 28 days until her birthday. Khloe disagrees and goes out of her way to sway him. (this part didn’t feel super realistic as she was SUPER forward and confident for a 17 yr-old virgin)

Which brings me to the safety. This book has been beat up a little for the content, so you should probably know your limits going in. Kid is described as a manwhore. He’s slept with all the house bunnies, and plays a game where he has sex in every city/country they visit. There are two OW situations, both with club-whore Snapper. So, there it is, if you can handle it the second situation generates quite a bit of angst.

Potential issues- Timelines in this series gets wonky as the books do not always go in chronological order, but overlap each other. Certain details change/get muddled like Snapper being older/ having wrinkles (book 2) to being 25. (book 5)

Bottom Line- I’m writing these after reading the next four books, so my rating might be a bit biased because IMO this was the best one. (as far as feels go) so I'm rounding up. There’s some angsty/drama, but there’s also a layer of cheese. A lot will probably depend on what you’re in the mood for, because if it’s hard core MC…this isn’t it. It actually reminded me a bit of Kelly Elliott’s Wanted series. It’s not totally safe, but I’m a sucker for OW drama, and the amnesia helped soften the blow. Also, the fact that he feels TERRIBLE, owns up without excuses, and she doesn’t forgive him straightaway helped. I only have two real complaints. 1-There’s zero comeuppance for Snapper who continues to be nasty in the next books. 2-There’s this awesome tid-bit from Doc, but it doesn’t go anywhere because these two are solid in future books. (the only reason I continued w/ the series was because I thought we’d get more angst from them still living in the clubhouse with her)

“This isn’t something that just goes away,” he continues. “This will be in the back of her mind every fucking day of her life if she chooses to stay. Every time you head out on a mission. Each time you get tied up some place or stopped by a train, her mind will go back to that night. She will wonder if you’re telling the truth. She may forgive you, but your penance will last your lifetime. You need to make sure you’re willing to pay it.” He rises from the chair and slowly pushes it back under the table.

When will I learn not to trust a recommendation with lout spoiling with reviews...

I was warned that this was a heavy read, but that there was no cheating. They lied. There is -00% complexity gratuitous cheating. Like no arguing cheating. And I’ll just go ahead an help out those of you who love cheating that this ain’t one you’ll love either. The grovel sucks, if you can even call it that, everyone just says “it’s ok it’s not your fault” “you had amnesia” (yes you read that eyeroll correctly the old amnesia approach) and meanwhile also urges her to forgive him because wits not his fault. He cried a little, bought her a necklace and in three days was forgiven. Anyway, I digress. Here’s why this whole book just doesn’t work. For one. Some fault is placed on the doctors for warning everyone to let him get his memories back naturally. You can tell that this “author” did zero research. Yes you can without a doubt a doubt have amnesia after a head injury, but A doctors would encourage you to let your memories come back naturally but not something bug like whether you are in a freaking relationship!!!!! B if you are injured badly enough to cause the type of memory loss he had, he would be in a hospital much long while they evaluated and competed more tests for possible future complication and C Even if the stars had aligned for the worst medical care since the 1900s you do not get released and feel anywhere close to good enough for the type DETAILED smex scene that we have in this book. From his dominant behavior to stamina, it’s just not possible. Let’s not forget he also going on and on about how he enjoyed it with the ow. Even when he knows the truth, he makes sure to dig that knife in. He had flashes of the heroine and said he felt empty (I guess to make readers dumb enough to believe the reasoning) but it wasn’t empty enough to not take her for multiple rounds all night... but back to why this makes no sense medically... He would have blacked out from the pressure of his blood pining so fast a minimum, assuming the blinding migraine he’d get didn’t do it first. And I can’t help but add that *if* (and I have to include an eyeroll just to get through this first part) this is how it works, at any point he had a brain injury again, he’d just cheat again. His libido is so strong he couldn’t help it for one single night right? Because obviously his “brothers” can’t be trusted to watch him (their brother who again, was just released from the hospital with amnesia) and encourage him not to cheat, knowing he wouldn’t want to. She can’t always be there even if he did tell her just to stop him next time. Leading to the next part, moving on from the medical stuff.... Let’s not forget that everyone he knows and loves knows about the situation with Khloe, most know exactly how he feels. Yet not one watched out for him simply for knowing that if he did screw up he’d regret it? Not one of them stopped him from taking the club h to his room and screwing her for hours. How could she even feel safe with these guys? Yes this is an MC book, but it’s presented like they are decent enough guys. Moving on. There was not nearly enough time between him screwing the other girl and what happened with the heroine, no one forgets that fast. Also to dig the knife deeper, the author wants us to put all the blame on the club w, so why did she not have her complete kicked out? There are plenty of others around, and she didn’t just screw with another female, she in essence betrayed the club. So why was she only gently encouraged to leave town for a couple of days?
If a few things had been different I could have not hated this book. For example if he’d have been drunk and was too drunk to perform, or if the ow had just given a bj (that he didn’t have to move strenuously for etc). If they’d have permanently gotten rid of the club w. If anyone had actually stood hot for the heroine. Then I could have found it a little more realistic and maybe could have forgiven the author absolute shredding of modern medicine. But no the way it’s written is ridiculous. Even if the medical stuff didn’t apply, there is the fact that he saw her and felt a pull towards her an ignored it in favor of an easy lay. It’s not like she wasn’t there. She was in the room and watched him take this woman back to his room. She was devastated, and every single person made her feel like she had to just let him go screw another woman?!? He saw the devastation on her face, but it didn’t trigger anything. Yet two days later one phrase just brought it back. So cheap, author. Seriously just so cheap. Anyone who believes the trash this author tried to make you believe is either incredibly young and naive, or not too bright. Im sorry, there is no other way to say this. I don’t know any adults that would buy this bs. It’s like bad soap opera drama. I’m waiting for the evil dead twin to show up at one point. She wanted to write a cheating book, while also trying to draw in people who hate cheating. It’s basic greed. Have your cake and eat it too much like the hero.

Not cheating (technically) because he had amnesia but I could’ve done without the in-depth sex scene with the ow during their one time together. She’s what they refer to as a “club girl” and he’s been with her before.

When he regains his memory he feels like he cheated and was especially repulsed by it all because he enjoyed having sex with the ow. Reading this from his POV makes it bearable.

He’s very protective of the h and was horrified when he realised how he inadvertently hurt her.
I didn’t feel he needed to grovel but he did. I did expect the ow to get what she deserved because she deliberately took advantage of his situation and she knew he loves the h. If a guy took advance of a woman like that, everyone would be taking him to task but this doesn’t happen here. The H does tell her off, but I didn’t feel it was enough. She shouldn’t even be a part of the club after the revolting stunt she pulled. Gross.

Sooooo……..I am thinking this authors books are not for me. Sadly my big issue with book one was the heroine and it's about the same for this book as well.

Khloe is 17 and a month away from turning 18 and Kid is 24. Kid saves Khloe as she is attempting suicide. She is a foster kid that keeps getting knocked down and the latest hit is the death of her best friend. I would normally think the way Khloe acted had to do with her age but I think that may just be the way Ms. James writes her heroines.

With no place to go Kid asks her to stay with him until she gets on her feet and decides what she wants to do. The story mainly focuses on Kid trying to keep his dick in his pants because he has it bad for Khloe and she is constantly tempting him. He wants to wait until she turns 18 before he gives in. I found Khloe to be extremely childish and I was disappointed in the lack of development for her character. Then the book really went downhill for me when Kid is injured and due to memory loss he does something stupid. Now in this case I actually don’t blame him because he did have an injury but I felt this plot device was ridiculous. It just gave Khloe more reason to act silly and didn’t do great things for the story. I wish the author all the best but this just didn’t work for me.

Not safe! Detailed sex with OW. Cheating.

Angsty romance with good grovel from the hero. I felt so sorry for Khloe at the end of the book. Kid lost his memory due to an accident and imo he cheated on Khloe. He didn’t recognize Khloe when he returned from Vegas after the accident. He then takes a girl from the club back to his room to have sex, while Khloe watches them leave hand in hand to his room. He was very remorseful once he remembered his connection with Khloe and was sick about what he did. Although this good grovel the scene with the OW was repulsive.

When Kid came back from Vegas he first bumps into Emmalyn and this is what happens:

I’m greeted by a blonde bombshell. I must be the luckiest guy in the world because she walks up and gives me a hug.
“Hey, Kid. Glad you’re back,” she says. “Hey, sweetheart,” I say and give her fine ass a nice squeeze for good measure.
She squeaks and pushes away from me. I wink at her as she looks at Shadow with confusion clouding her beautiful blue eyes. “I think I’ll start my night with you,” I tell her in a husky voice. Her eyes widen, and I’m almost certain I have her on the line. “Yeah, buddy,” I hear Shadow hiss in my ear. “If you want to die tonight. That’s Prez’s girl.” I look around the room again. “Runner-up then,” I say pointing across the room to a magnificent auburn-haired woman.

So Khloe is the “runner-up” for him? I know he doesn’t remember, but still this side of him I didn’t like one bit. Then he takes the OW to his room to have sex. After the disgusting BJ where he blows his load it gets way worse:

“Fuck, Snapper,” I hiss as she continues to lick me clean. “On the bed,” I command. “Ass in the air.”
“Leave them on,” I tell her as she moves to pull her panties down her legs. I grab a condom from the drawer in the bedside table and suit up. I position myself behind her and tug the thin strip of fabric away from her entrance, situating it over her right ass cheek. With no time to waste and no need for foreplay, I notch my dick at her opening. This is what I love about the club girls, always willing, always ready. I slide into her in one long thrust. I may not remember everything, but I know exactly why she’s named Snapper; it has nothing to do with fish and everything to do with her pussy clamping down on any dick that comes close. “Damn, baby. I love how you’re always ready for me.” I set a punishing rhythm as she smiles over her shoulder, eyes half lidded. I grip her hip with one hand and reach the other up to tug her hair, forcing her back into an arc deep enough that I hit her sweet spot on each and every thrust. Foreplay may not be my thing, but I make the woman come every time. I’m a gentleman like that. Sweat beads on my skin and rolls down my bare chest. I close my eyes momentarily, but keep on thrusting into Snapper’s hot, tight-as-fuck pussy. She whimpers when I slam into her and rotate my hips in a circle when I’m buried deep. She reaches her hand under her, and I know she’s stroking her own clit because I can feel her fingers each time she takes me to the hilt. I should apologize, because it’s something I’d normally do for her. Clearly I’m off my game. With my eyes squeezed shut, a flash of that hot little auburn-haired girl in the living room flashes in my head. That’s not unusual for me. I tend to picture other women when I’m fucking. I know it makes me an asshole, but you have to get creative when you keep your dick close to home and in the same handful of girls, unless a mission comes up. The tingle at my spine and the deep throb in my sac breaks through the images, and I groan loudly when my dick begins to wrench in pulses as I orgasm. Best feeling in the world as far as I’m concerned. I pull out and slap her hard on the ass. “Thanks, doll,” I say climbing off the bed and heading for the shower. “See you at breakfast.”

And that is disgusting! All the while he’s having his sexcapade the heroine is in her room across the hall, knowing what he’s doing in there. He lost his memory and doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he’s still DOING IT!! And with those filthy thoughts about those women. Gross! That was a real turn off.

3 stars because of feeling remorseful and sick to his stomach when he found out what he did to Khloe, and great grovel to win her back. If he actually didn’t cheat on her, but an angsty misunderstanding than I would’ve given this book for sure 4,5 stars!

Okay, I know I have an unpopular opinion, but the memory loss thing explained away the cheating aspect for me personally. All the blame laid with the OW, Snapper. What kind of gross name is Snapper? The 17 yo h got on my nerves—not for being a helpless victim, but mainly for being so in her feelings. I mean, if I were her irl, I probably would be too, but she was so morosely sad that it didn’t make for the most enjoyable read for me personally. Probably because I’m kind of sad! I like sunshiny heroines. Kid was pretty much a bumbling doofus. I really didn’t buy the instalove bit between the two either. I didn’t really feel a big connection between the MC’s. Maybe I’m being too hard on this book, because I’m in a certain kind of mood, I don’t know. I did enjoy the OW drama and the angst, but couldn’t vilify Kid for what happened considering the far-fetched circumstances.

Gross and heartbreaking

A true romance doesn't have outside the relationship sex. This book had OW sex on page and off page plus on page cheating. Actual cheating. I'm absolutely disgusted by this book. There should have ta trigger warning. It was horrible and heartbreaking, and I'm seriously mad that the author didn't warn us and that this book even claims to be a romance. It's awful. I'm just so disturbed.

Self note
H sex with ow-Snapper after meeting the h. The h was underaged and eh couldn’t wait for her to turn 18🙄.
H accidentally cheats on h with ow- Snapper again- when he had amnesia. Didn’t remember the h.
Cheating scene is graphic on page. He goes on thinking how much he enjoyed the ow even after he gets his memory back?

Might read when I want something angsty.

My biggest problem with this book is the silly amnesia plot so that the H can cheat. It was just so gratuitous. Its like the author wanted to go there and write a Cheating scene but was scared straight by the safety gang so she gave her Man a little temporary amnesia so it only covers the last month since he met the fmc.. there was no angst to me because yo amnesia. Also the tension In This book was supposed to be because they have to wait 30 days to have sex because the fmc is 17 going on 18… how long can you drag out 30 days???? Boring! -/add to that the fact that Kid really acts like his nickname.. he had the maturity of a 16 yo teenager. I guess that’s another thing— this was too teenybopper… also the fmc trying to commit suicide in the first few pages then miraculously she’s cured a few pages later—gratuitous again. They both got cured in 30 days. No more suicide, no more amnesia, no more cheating and absolutely no character development in this one — just throw in a little suicide attempt, a tad of amnesia so you can have a little cheating with no blame wait 30 days and they all live hea.

Small Spoilers

I liked this one more then the 1st.

Yes, sadly the Hero, Kid does sleep with ow after him and heroine, Khloe (I swear that name had me thinking of the Kardashians) have somewhat expressed their feelings, but in his defence he had a head injury and had memory loss so he didn't remember Khloe. Once he realizes what he has done, he is incredibly sorry and disgusted by himself. Khloe definitely makes him work to have her back (as she should), the heroine in the first book, Em was trying to push Khloe to forgive Kid, that annoyed me because she was crazy lady when she thought of her man with someone else, so you would think she would be more understanding?!

Anyways, I look forward to reading more from this author.

Super angsty and emotional read. Khloe was wounded and just wanted to be loved. Kid was a sweet guy who fell hard for Khloe. However, there are several bumps and one huge hurdle on the road to their happiness. If you like angsty stories where evil OW cause major problems for the couple, groveling, and books that are so heartbreaking they make you cry, read this! 4 1/2 stars.

My rating: 3 1/2 stars.

What I liked: Kid and how he regrets what he did. I loved how he put Snapper in her place.

What I didn’t like: I didn’t like how they didn’t throw Snapper out. She knew he had amnesia and still went with him. I wouldn’t trust her and in a club trust is huge.

How hot was it: 3 out 5

Triggers: h tries to kill herself in the beginning of the story. Also, Kid has amnesia from a head injury and sleeps with a club chick (on page)

Final thoughts: this was a pretty good read for me. I don’t consider it cheating when he has amnesia and doesn’t remember. I actually blame his brothers for not letting him know (before he sleeps with Snapper) about Khloe and for not keeping an eye out for him until he regained his memory. Definitely will read more in this series.

Would have been more stars if there wasn’t cheating :(
The amnesia was more than adequate for a good plot, the cheating was wholly unnecessary, take that out & it would have be a 5 star read for me.

Not much of an MC or anything for that matter!

Ok so this is suppose to be an MC, not much happens in this book at ALL like literally not just in the MC world. I mean in every aspect.

Ok so it starts with Khloe who is 17 trying to kill herself because her Best Friend died and he was her way out.

Kid who is in the MC saves her. She moves into the MC because she can't/won't go back to her foster home. Kid wants to be with her but won't until she is 18. So they slowly spend times together. So now we will be going by percentages.

Kid loses memory and cheats with snapper.

70% Kid gets memory back
80% Khloe finally turns 18
84% they become physical but not all the way
91% they finally go all the way
93% book ends.

So my question is why all the 5 star reviews? This book was a lot of nothing. My idea of an MC book is definitely different that a lot of reviewers.

Khloe is a foster kid, she's got an amazing boyfriend and together they plan to get her out of her situation, in just 6 short months when she's 18 they'll get married and all her problems will be solved.
Three months later it all comes crashing down when he's KIA in Iraq.
His family wants nothing to do with her and throws her out of their apartment leaving her the option of going back to her horrible foster family or living on the streets.

Kid.
Former Marine and current man whore, sees a broken girl at a fundraiser for a fallen soldier. She's about to jump off a bridge when he stops her.
After finding out who she is and why she's there he wants to help her but he needs permission to bring a minor into the clubhouse.
Once there Kid can't get her out of his head. She's too young, he can't touch her but that's all he wants to do.
Part of the deal to bring her to the clubhouse is she's off limits. No one can touch her until she's legal, an those thirty days are going to be the death of Kid.
He tries to ignore her pull. Even stops sleeping with other women while waiting for her to turn 18.
And then something happens to Kid that changes everything.
He makes a mistake, a horrible mistake that Khloe can't forget.
Just when she was ready to give herself to Kid her whole world was turned upside down yet again and she has some hard choices to make.

Hearts are broken.
Trust is destroyed.

I loved this freaking book. Kid was amazing, well most of the time.
I do believe a certain someone needed a full on beat down and to be banned from the club as soon as she put her hands on Kid or at the very least after the damage was done but that's just me.
Other than the lack of beating people until they can't walk I loved eveything about book two and am looking forward to what's next in the Cerbrus MC series.

New to me author, and the first book in a long time that I decided not to read the reviews on. While I enjoyed the writing style, it's what happened towards the end of the book that soured my stomach. Also reminded me why I read reviews before starting.

To make a long story short the H get a head injury while on a misson, doesn't remember the h when brought back home. Picks up one of his old fuck buddies right in front of h, and does sleep with her. Gets his memories back a few days later and while I did feel that if he had his memories he wouldn't have slept with anyone else but the h, because I could feel the H pain, the deed was already done and I had a hard time getting past it.

Needless to say, I will read reviews for the other book in the series before I even think about starting them.

So unfortunately this one only gets..

2 big stars!

Kid

Kid is the second book in the Cerberus MC series. I really liked Kid from the first book in this series, Kincaid. He seemed to grow up in between the book even though the happen concurrently.

Kid sees a young woman who is about to take her life and he steps in to save her. Khloe is done with life and the death of her best friend and fiance is the last straw. She doesn't understand why Kid stepped in to help her, no one has done that before.

I enjoyed watching Kid and Khloe find their way to each other. To open up and trust one another.

There is a scene in this book where Kid cheats on her but it isn't premeditated or done with malice. He still retains his hero standing as far as I'm concerned and it was truly heartbreaking to watch Kid realize what he did. They get their HEA and it is hard won.

Marie James does it again!!! I think Kid is my favorite book by far that she has written. Kid and Khloe are my new favorite couple.

Kid rescues Khloe from a suicide attempt when Khloe's fiancé dies in war. At only 17 and a ward of the state she doesn't know where she is going to live but Kid offers her a place to stay at the clubhouse. From the first moment he saw her at the BBQ he is enamored with her.

Kid is a man-whore, and he has come up with a plan to sleep with a girl in every country that they visit going on their special-ops missions. But that all an end when he starts to develop feelings for Khloe. How will he keep her hands off her until she's 18 living under the same roof as him?

Enjoyed the plot of this one a little more than book 1 but ultimately, the obsession Kid has with an underaged girl was just a bit too much for me. The attempted suicide plot line (FMC) felt unnecessary and was quickly dropped.

Chloe is also a very unlikeable FMC and Kid wasn't much better. I really couldn't see the chemistry between them.

Loved seeing Kincaid and Emmalyn!

But I am in my trashy MC era so onto book 3...

Book Series Ranking :
1. Kincaid (Book 1) - 3 stars
2. Kid (Book 2) - 2.5 stars

Okay first let me say I loved this story. It was unique and different. I loved Kid until he was stupid. I get he lost his memory but why did the author have to let us be a part of that whole scene. I could’ve done without reading details of being with Snapper. Just my opinion.

It's the best one I have read so far. It's still not amazing, but they're more heroes than anti hero. Kid was fun to read, and I love the amnesia story line twist. It made the book way more exciting.

Khloe

When Khloe Devaro’s best friend and fiancé is lost to the war in Iraq, she’s beyond distraught. Her intentions of joining him in the afterlife are thwarted by a Cerberus Motorcycle Club member. Too young to do anything on her own, the only alternative she has now is to take Kid up on his offer to stay at the MC Clubhouse. As if that’s not a disaster waiting to happen, but anything is better than returning to the foster home she’s been forced to live in the last three years.

"Kid"

Dustin “Kid” Andrews spent four years as a Marine; training, fighting, and learning how to survive the most horrendous of conditions. He never imagined that holding a BBQ fundraiser for a local fallen soldier would end up as the catalyst that turns his world upside down. Resisting his attraction for a girl he’s not even certain is of legal age was easy, until he’s forced to intervene when her intentions become clear. All his training is wasted as far as he’s concerned since none of that will help him when it comes to Khloe.

Will the self-proclaimed man-whore sleep with a woman in every country he visits as planned, or will the beautiful, yet feisty girl living down the hall throw a wrench in his plan?

Review:
Chloe had a seemingly well childhood until her parents died, and she was then a ward of the state and put into foster care. Chloe is seventeen and engaged to her best friend who is about to deploy. Her best friend Alec is waiting for her to turn 18 so they can leave together. When she loses him she is so distraught she does what she thinks will bring her to him. Enter Kid. They are having a BBQ fundraiser for the fallen soldier. He sees her and and thwarts her plans. She has no one and nowhere to go since Alec’s parents give her 24 hours to remove her belongings from his apartment, she goes with Kid to the MC Clubhouse.

When there she sees what it is like. She doesn’t trust anyone with good reason. She sees all the club bunnies and she watches Kid with Snapper (club bunny) who has a history with her.
Kid feels like he shouldn't be having thoughts of Chloe, as she isn't eighteen for another thirty days. Thirty days, that's all, he can do it right? He can keep his hands to himself, can’t he?
Then when one of the club members gets a phone call. Kid and BT set out to Vegas to help. Things happen and trust is broken in a large way. What can she do? She has to face it head on and deal with the unthinkable. There is a rocky road for these two to travel on, to get where they need and want to be.
Join Chloe and Kid to see what will happen.

REVIEW
This is a brilliant story set within an MC setting however it is not all MC business and mainly focuses on the main characters, Kid and Khloe.

After the loss of her best friend Khloe's sadness draws her to want nothing more of this life, Kid notices the troubled girl, reacjes her in time and comes to her rescue like a knight in leather.

This man-whore gets the insta love bug and the relationship progresses, the only set back is Khloe is only 17 and the countdown is on until her 18th birthday.

Khloe is a feisty character with a sad backstory and formerly in foster-care, a likable character who has an old head on her shoulders for someone so young.

Written with a brilliant balance of angst, drama, hot moments and interaction with other great characters leading to a hea.

I would definitely read more in this series and looking forward to it.

Another winner by Author Marie James. I loved the relationship between Kid and Khloe, young true love at its best. Kid saved Khloe , both physically and emotionally. And Khloe's love caused Kid to be a better person.
Seeing Khloe distraught over her best friend's death, Kid offers her a room at the MC house. After that we see the sexual attraction these 2 have for each other. But Kid is loyal and a true gentlemen because Khloe is only 17 and he will wait till she's 18. Marie James makes us experience all the heartache Khloe went through and the love these two finally discover. I recommend you read this book, and this series, Cerberus MC, cause it's one of the best I have read. 5 stars *****

Cute and sweet

I liked this one from the beginning.

A heroine with a a dark past, protective alpha of sorts.

Their chemistry was off the charts.
The age gap tht was meant as a deterrent was really meh in terms of this storyline.

The club slut situation ruined it for me. Girl should of been kicked out. Plain and simple. Insert all the eye roll emojis here please.

Other than that it was a cute story.

This was pretty bad. Khloe was really weak and kind of useless. I don’t blame Alec’s parents for feeling the way they did about her. Kid was pretty boring. I felt zero relationship building between Khloe and Kid. I do not recommend.
