The mission is money, but first comes a battle of wills….
Rebel with a flaw, Maggie Kincade is out to cure her yen for bad boys in black by collecting on a debt so she can start a new life.
Bad boy with a past, Tom Rawlins is in town just long enough to recover the money that’s owed to him…the same money that Maggie believes is owed to her.
Despite their differences, they have one thing in common: they want Sean O’Toole to pay up, or give them each a share of Harry’s Place, the local pub he owns. Trouble is, Sean and his money are nowhere to be found.
Determined not to let the other gain the advantage, Maggie and Tom each take over running Harry’s Place, but all this close contact leaves Tom burning with lust and Maggie fighting some dangerous old habits. She cannot fall, yet again, for another wild and reckless bad boy in black.
Desperate to see Tom’s butt planted on the seat of his Harley Hog, she devises a plan that involves a bet, a mechanical bull, and some unexpected friendly blackmail. Though she’s up against the man who has raised seduction to an art form, Maggie is certain she’s won—until she realizes that sometimes the shortest distance between lust and love may be only a heartbeat away.
I fell in love with reading at a very early age, mostly because my mother was a school teacher and she insisted that my sisters and I be able to read really well. It wasn't until a career change that I was able to embrace my joy of writing. I'm happiest when I'm writing. I will always write. I can't help myself. The first book in the Right Guy series. Single mom Maggie Kincade and Tom Rawlins' story had a good storyline that held my interest until the end. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a good story about trying to find your way in life even when it seems like you're over your head or that you bit off more than you can chew. I loved their strength and determination. They had wonderful chemistry together. You should definitely read this book to see what happens with Tom and Maggie.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The Right Guy series begins with two people who are out to prove themselves. Tom and Maggie find themselves crossing paths while trying to get what they are owed. It seems that they will have to figure it out together. They deserved a happy future together.
