Leave the dead alone. Bringing them back to life is never a good idea. 17 year old Genesis should have been left in the ground where she belonged. She was brought back for a reason. A war is coming. Each side wants Genesis for their own reasons. Both sides picked the wrong girl. Genesis never could be trusted. She proved that the night she killed her sister.
Interesting book. I spent the majority of the time, just like the main character, trying to figure out what the heck is actually going on. Interesting premise of good vs. evil, but it’s never that easy and I can’t wait toss what happens with Genesis next.
This book was better than I expected. It almost reminds me of The Young Elites by Marie Lu...I'm getting the background info to what is making a character into a villain. I loved the twist in the middle of the book. I didn't expect it at all and then the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. And then the ENDING, wow. It was awesome! I really liked Mae and her attitude, her past, and possibly her forgiveness? She is awesome. I love what's going on with Him and Silas. I love learning how and why the characters are there and how they are connected. The only thing I didn't like was that the worlds of seekers and sentinels was kind of vague. I need more information. Hopefully in the next books, I will get some more information. I can't wait to see what happens and where Genesis will take us in the next books, hopefully it stays dark!
Im halfway thru this book and so far I like it. Its definitely a page turner and I'm definitely gonna buy the second book when I'm finished reading this book. I'll update my review when I'm finished reading Genesis by Kristi Lambert.
Update: I just wanted to say that a week before Christmas I purchased all 3 books in the series so I can finish the first book. i read 93% and so far its really good.
Update: I really enjoyed the book. I can't wait to read the second book in the series. I give the book 5 stars!
