First, how has no one commented on the author's name being Ginny Weasley? I'm sure she is tired of the questions, but I'm wondering if the natural living world and the Harry Potter fandom simply lack overlap? Because, I'll be honest here, the only reason I requested this book from the library is because I saw it and exclaimed, "Look! Ginny Weasley wrote a Herbology book for Muggles!"
So what is this book, since herbology is more likely to involve magical plants than medicinal oils? Well, it's a very short, small book. I imagine it started as a self-published Kindle book then some copies were made. The content starts on page 5 and ends on page 34. It's an incredibly simplified overview of essential oils and includes 40 recipes for blends, rubs, bath bombs and the like.
It sounds basic, which it is. However, it does summarize well and provides all of the basics. It would probably make a nice series of blog posts more than it works as a book, but the audiences of books and blogs are unique so it's a good option.
