Discover Qabalah, a Western non-religious mystic tradition containing a body of magical knowledge and practices to help you embrace your higher self.
In this book, you will learn: · The role of the Tree of Life – the central organizational system of Qabalah · The meaning of each Sephira, or sphere, on the Tree · An exercise and meditation for each Sephira · How to work with and understand the symbolism of each Sephira, from Gods and Goddesses to Crystals · How to increase the energy for your meditations and create a personal sigil, or symbol, to represent your highest values · How to use Qabalistic prayer and work with the four great Archangels for daily support and protection
I disliked this book. It goes too far into fairytales making it only practical without giving any mystical details (despite astrology and tarot). There aren’t any references and it seems like the author made up the meditations and the rituals. It seems like this was written for those that are not actually interested in qabalah, but interested in the idea of qabalah. Just like any new age adepts. They just do stuff without actually diving deep into the practices that they do.
The bibliography is extremely short and there are no references. If you ask me, my honest and friendly opinion: don’t take as truth anything written here. You can get to my advice alone just by seeing that there are no references and an almost inexistent bibliography.
You will learn much here and it’s only the beginning. One of my mentors has been using the Qabalah for 20 years and keeps learning from it. I have taken a Hay House course by this author and this is only a small taste of the Qabalah. I will be going back through that course because it’s much more in depth and this book reminded me how important the Qabalah is in the world.
