I bought this book for my elementary school library. Many of the jokes are un-relatable to today's kids. I'm 47 and some of these jokes use references and slang that was already out-dated when I was at the targeted age of this book! I think the author used a search engine for any jokes that included "block(s)" or "square" in the punchline and changed the set-up to be Minecraft related.
All of my kids are in the target demographic for this book. It stinks. As a family we got some enjoyment in poking fun at how terrible it is, but there's not a single joke in here that will so much as make an 8 year old blow air out of his nose. Complete waste of time and money, just avoid it.
