By now, Grace is accustomed to the insanity of everyday life. What she’s not ready for is being caught in the middle of a millennia-old grudge between an old friend of Derio’s and The Man Upstairs. Demon attacks, strange dreams, and defense training.
Oh, and trying to date her best friend and stay away from her abusive step-father. You know, the normal stuff.
Tory Cameron is a University of Maryland, College Park graduate with her Associate degree in Creative Writing and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Her poems, photographs, and short stories have been published in literary magazines and journals, as well as in The National Museum for Women in the Arts journal Urban Inkslingers. She’s studied under authors such as Maxine Hong Kingston and Wanda Coleman in writing workshops, and has professionally edited dozens of novels for published authors. She’s taken college courses at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England, and was awarded Excellence in the Arts at The John F. Kennedy Center for Creative Writing. She teaches English to some pretty awesome high school kids.
In addition, she’s a voracious reader, loves 60’s-80’s music, and comes from a car racing family. After sweating it in Tucson, Arizona for nearly three years, she moved back to Maryland where the critters are less likely to eat her. She lives with her fiance, daughter, and 3 cats.
