Bluegrass Obsession:
Although a handsome and respected psychologist, Worth is unable to free himself from the curse of his father’s past. Nor can his beautiful wife, Auggie. Her mother’s deceit spawned the devil incarnate. A brother who rises from the depths of hell to haunt them with hatred and retribution.

Bluegrass Rebellion:
The LaViere men – wealthy, controlling, self-centered and willful. Although generations separated them, they retained their legacies of power. Magnetic and perpetually driven to excel, their appetites for dominance over their women was unrelenting. While their wealth set them apart, the cost of those they destroyed was greater than any fortune imaginable.

Auggie, the copper-haired beauty who mentally jousted with her handsome Worth paid her price and yet asked for more. Liane, the sensitive creature with intuitive empathy sought to conquer her Hawk and paid her price as well – yet neither of them could deny themselves their men.

I absolutely LOVED this series. The Bluegrass Billionaire series is about three generations of excessive wealth and the damage it does to the Langford & LaViere families. There is humor, angst, happiness, jealousy, secrets, lies, and some extremely hot sex scenes.
Elizabeth August Langford "Auggie" & Worthington LaViere, III "Worth" are the main characters and have an amazing lifelong love affair. Both are from very wealthy southern families. Worth & Auggie fall in love very quickly and get married. Both are independent, possessive and jealous which leads to serious situations and consequences. Throughout the years they both make situations worse by acting out against each other due to their jealously. Both of these families are connected by a secret baby born from an affair with Auggie’s mother and Worth’s father. Because of the lies and secrets surrounding this baby, it rips both families apart leaving a devastating impact on Auggie & Worth’s oldest son.
The Bluegrass Billionaire Trilogy will suck you in from the first chapter and keep you captive until the very end. I highly recommend reading this series.

This series was a joke. I liked Auggie in the beginning but she quickly got on my nerves. She’s way too wishy washy throughout the entire series. Worth is a POS the entire time. Ford wants the twins dead so I can’t blame his parents for wanting to get him away from them BUT once he fled with Bernie his parents were non-existent. They never once tried to find him. Of the twins, Marga is a bitch. Mark and Liane are the only two that are likeable. I guess Hawk redeems himself somewhat but he’s still a crappy person too. I understand his anger as an adult but as a child he was just a nut case.

And Liane’s “abilities”??? Hahhaha! What a joke. I liked her character but that crap was just way too far-fetched. I should have saved myself the misery and quit after the first book but I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. It was like a train wreck and I couldn’t look away. It provided too much material to roll my eyes at and laugh at the stupidity.

I loved the journey that Worth and Auggie took reading this series. From how they were brought together to how there family was brought back together and made whole again! This book will make you laugh, cry and mad all in a matter of a few pages. It also reminds you that as long a you love each other you can make this work even when you might not like each other at the moment!! I would recommend this book to anyone!!

REALISTIC BILLIONAIRES

The combined efforts of Alice Ward & Jessica Blake have produced a trilogy of a dynastic Kentucky billionaire family. This trilogy has a happy ending but it struggles through the experiences that real families experience, especially the family in-fighting. Very enjoyable in the long run.

Good story

While this was a very good story to read, I feel there was a lot of back and forth with Worth and Auggie. I've never known somebody who needed so much time alone! Jeez! But it was a very good story. It started out slow, but was good read.

Bluegrass Seduction (3*)
Auggie is privileged and the daughter of a wealthy equine family in Kentucky. Her mother is set on running Auggie's life for her, even though she is old enough to do for herself and graduated college. Bent on embarrassing his father, Worthington LaViere III uses his position as a highly respected psychologist to delve into the secrets he wants to explore. Especially the old money of the Bluegrass set. And Auggie. The green-eyed temptress he’s unable to strike from his thoughts. It’s the beginning of a dynasty built on a legacy of greed, selfishness and pure wickedness. Just remember, anything built on a foundation of lies can topple at any moment.

Auggie is quite spoiled and acts very childish. Worth is controlling and believes himself to be a bad person, like his father, until he meets Auggie and wants to change for the better. Both are terrible at communicating with each other. This is further complicated by them hiding their relationship, causing embarrassing situations and arguments that may have been avoided with the truth.

Bluegrass Obsession
Although a handsome and respected psychologist, Worth is unable to free himself from the curse of his father’s past. Nor can his beautiful wife, Auggie. Her mother’s deceit spawned the devil incarnate. A brother who rises from the depths of hell to haunt them with hatred and retribution. Evil and manipulative, Linc doesn’t care who he hurts to get what he wants and must be stopped before he goes too far. Can Worth and Auggie fight him and rise above it all, finding salvation in each other? More importantly, can they protect their family from the legacy of inherited evil?

Bluegrass Obsession is a standalone novel, the second in the sizzling Bluegrass Billionaire Trilogy by Alice Ward and Jessica Blake. While it can be read alone, it is recommended that you first read Bluegrass Seduction, the first book in the Trilogy, in order to understand the plot better. I enjoyed this second book and love that each one is a separate story that adds to the previous. I loved reading about their son, Ford, and the discoveries they make as a couple.

Bluegrass Rebellion
The LaViere men – wealthy, controlling, self-centered and willful. Although generations separated them, they retained their legacies of power. Magnetic and perpetually driven to excel, their appetites for dominance over their women was unrelenting. The LaViere curse. They cause pain and torment, blame others for their issues, and take devastating revenge on their own families. It is a perpetual, learned cycle of abuse that is difficult to get out of. You have to see the issue, acknowledge it needs changed, and choose to do so. This was a wonderful conclusion to the LaViere's. Heartbreaking and soul searching.

I am new to Alice Ward and Jessica Blake, and I am hooked. This was a great book and once I started i couldn't put it down. There were some twists and turns that made this a real page turner. Aggie and Worth, both had difficult pasts and had to work through some issues, but as things unfolded they were able to work them. I can't wait for the next book, what a cliffhanger.
What another great story. Even though this a standalone, I truly recommend to start with the first one, it will answer some questions. I loved, it just gets better and better. I love Worth and Auggie but they need to start trusting each other in order to get through everything their going through. Worth learns that a family member is not dead and is trying to ruin his reputation. There are twists and turns and it keeps you on your toes, I was shocked at the ending and can't wait to find out what happens.
What an emotional roller-coaster, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the third book. Auggie is such a strong women, more then she ever thought she was. Worth is just being who he thinks he should be and neglecting his relationship. With Ford coming back it brings more issues. I hated to see it end but I'm looking forward to reading more from these authors.

I read these three books that are all in this one set and thought they were all do good. Worth and Auggie came from families of wealth but also sadness. Enjoy all three books as we first see how Worth and Auggie meet and fall in love. Then, throughout the rest of the books we see how they survive the danger and pain of those around them. As they build a family, we see the struggles they experience and how they handle them. Do they have enough love for each other to survive? I enjoyed their unconditional love as they figured out a way to live HEA. The books are separate but reading one right after another will show you lifetime of love and faith in each other and those they love.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great love story filled with twists and turns, passion, excitement, drama and most of all, love. Worth (Worthington) is a psychologist from a wealthy family who believes he's inherited his father's legacy of worthlessness. Auggie (Elizabeth Augusta) is a spoiled rich girl with a good heart. Together they're amazing. But they have to go through so much to get their HEA. Family legacies, family drama, hate, evil, hurt feelings and everything in between. But through it all, Worth and Auggie stood together and made it out to the other side, in love, with their family intact and happy.

What can I say that I haven't already said about this series. It was everything I crave in a book and more. I have never once been disappointed by this author, and this trilogy was no exception. I was totally enthralled from beginning to end. The characters were funny, super sexy, sassy, and the story was packed with anxiety, drama, and kept me guessing at the ending..... well, until I got there. A gripping trilogy that I will mark down as one of my favourite

The premise of this book was good. It pretty much makes the point that no matter how much money you and your family have, you still have lots of problems.

The problems I had with this book are that Auggie's hair changes from Mahogany to Copper. There are a LOT of grammatical errors. And the authors change tense in the middle of sentence so frequently, it made my head hurt.

It was kind of an abrupt ending but all in all, a good book.
