The story captured my attention from the time I started listening it. Interesting story with a right dose of drama and an undeniable chemistry between the main characters. Sexy, enjoyable second chance romance!

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBoom dot com.

This was a fast-paced book... almost a little too fast. The main female character didn't care for the main male character at all when first encountered in the book, but within just a few paragraphs, she was waking up in his bed after a night of romping together with him. Huh? How'd that happen? I understand chemistry and all that, but this just seemed a bit too fast. Then, the next thing you know, it's a couple months later and she's pregnant and trying to figure out how to tell him about it, then ends up engaged to him. Where's the romance part of it? I felt like I missed out on some of the story. Otherwise, it's a nice, quick read with some good, steamy sex scenes. I will likely read other stories by this author.

This book only got three stars because I didn't like the ending. It's not long only 9 chapters and an epilogue but how the story flows I wanted and expected more with the ending. This book had a bonus book The Russians love child and I had the same issue.

This is a very emotional storyline. With sadness like this it’s lovely to see people find their way back towards happiness. Fantastic performance,

The love story between Edward and Nevaeh was something that was hard to read. I was hurt with the outcome of their situation. But their ending was worth reading about. I loved the way just when it seems like everything is hitting the fan, life intervenes and fixes everything!

Edward Kinkade’s parents have plans for their son, especially his mother. He went the right schools to become a lawyer. He joined the family firm, and became a partner. Now, he will marry a nice girl with the correct background. Everything is going to his mother’s plan. Well it was, until that fateful day when Edward meets opposing counsel on a divorce case. Nevaeh, the girl he never forgot from college.
Nevaeh, did not grow up with a silver spoon, she has the student loans to prove that. However, the determination, and true grit, she has become an attorney in her firm with the reputation of helping to win the difficult cases, and she is determined to become a partner. Darn, why opposing counsel have to be Edward Kinkade on her first big solo case? Edward was the love of her life in college, the man she trusted to never betray her. That was until the day she overhears…. STOP, to spoilers from me, you need to read this emotional roller-coaster ride of a book.
I was gifted with an audio copy of this wonderful book for an honest review. Prior to reading, or rather listening to this book, I was not familiar with this author, Kimmy Love, but the blurb I read concerning this book sounded really great. I was not disappointed in the least. I love a book that takes me on an emotional ride. This book took me through the whole range of emotions. Kudos to you Ms. Love. I look forward to reading more from you in the future.
What can I say about the narrator’s stellar performance? Meghan Kelly brings yet another story to life. Her way of telling the audience the story in a way that makes a book really enjoyable to listen to.
Thank you for reading my review. Yes, you really need to hit that one click button and either read or listen to this wonderful book.

This short book will take you through a wave of emotions, from fear of the unknown, to happiness, to tears and back to happiness all in a couple of hours! Nevaeh and Edward were very close friends in college before Nevaeh felt betrayed by Edward and left the friendship without a word. They meet several years later working the same divorce case to rekindle their friendship. This fire between them brought on an unexpected pregnancy, a quick proposal and their relationship was off and running! We get to meet the families, experience loss and love. I can tell you, you will cry, so make sure you have the tissues ready! Their HEA is well deserved and will bring a smile to your face.

Meghan Kelly as always brings an incredible performance, bringing you on this journey.

Don't be alarmed at the title!
This was actually a really interesting short book.

Nevaeh is a lawyer getting her big break, a solo case.
Edward is opposing counsel, having known him since there college days, Nevaeh is timid to get to know him again because of there history.

But they are like magnets bound to be in each other lives. Oh his momma.. I didn't like her one bit no I didn't but well I won't give anything away.

"It was always you for me." - Edward

I did want to scream Communication a few times with this story. And who doesn't love a second chance at love.

Narrator, again I love the way each character stands out. They all have a distinct voice this makes the story come to life. The voice for his mom.. dang spot on!

Okay these stories are getting better

I must admit this is my third story in the genre and I'll admit I liked this story. I liked that the story does not dwell to much on the billionaires finances or that the bride is African American. The plot was believable. The one night stand results in a baby. The fact that his parents would not accept a commoner was laughable. I liked Edward because he was willing from the start to make the relationship work. I liked Naveah's inner strength even with the turmoil with Edward's parents.. The back story with his mother's issue and Naveah's mother added depth to the story.. A good read.

I received this book free for an honest review. I thought this book was typical of the "Billionaire" books. That is not to say that I didn't like it. Actually, the story was real cute and the characters were sweet, except for Edward's mom. But, that is to be expected. A negative personality like hers, makes for a more interesting story. I'm not real fond of the narrator. She narrates a lot of books, so I just have to accept it. Liked this story. Kimmy Love did a great job building this short story and keeping it interesting.

This is not romance

When I select a romance book I look for a happier, happy ever after. I don't think (spoiler) miscarriages, in first book and sick child in second book, was what romance books are made of. This book should be under other types of books like drama. These books left me sad and looking for a real romance novel to lift my day. That is why I read them any way. I will avoid this author in the future just not my type of story.

Great book, even through all the ups and downs, it takes you on a wonderful emotional ride that leaves you feeling content. I started this book at the beginning of my work day, and tried to ignore people so I could continue listening because you become so involved with the characters. I love Nevaeh! Her reactions are the same as what I would've done in the same situation. When her heart was broken, it made me feel like someone had punched me in the stomach. Short and sweet story!

I did not get pass chapter #1. The male love interest had "blue" eyes 5% into chapter #1and 8% into the chapter #1 he had chocolate eyes...and that along with grammatical errors added up to me thinking WTF!!!
