Santorno #6

Reflections

Rate this book
This book is part of a series and is not meant to be read as a standalone! Homosexual relations, coarse language.
To say the Santorno-Youngblood extended family has been through a lot together would be like saying "It looks a little smokey" while you're standing in the middle of a raging forest fire. Trouble finds them the way a Las Vegas convention hooker lasers in on the innocent pharmaceutical rep from Sheboygan.

Just when life returns to the Youngblood definition of normal, another tragedy slams into them like a rogue wave hitting from behind. As family rallies around loved ones and presents a united front, a bigger wave knocks them under. As individuals struggle to their feet, believing they have broken free of the pain, they are sucked under again and everything goes black.

Relationships die. Innocence suffers. Friendships are made. New faces join the family. Life-changing decisions bring the miracle of birth.

Stefan Santorno knows there is always a calm before the storm. What he doesn't know is they're about to get a hurricane.

I have been blessed in this life to not only have parents that support me, but kids that do as well. I grew up in a loving but "Old School" French household. My parents worked for the airlines (TWA) so I was able to see a lot of Europe as a kid. I moved to Seattle Washington at the age of 22 and stayed there for twelve years before moving to Alaska for a little over two. Fairbanks, AK was one hell of an experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! I spent a little over a year in South Carolina before moving back to Arizona. I then left for Kansas for five years and now reside in Arizona. I've been connected to the military in one way or another for over half my life and wouldn't change a thing about it. Writing has become my full time job and I've never been so happy doing a job I love and being able to do it in my jammies. I plan on writing until I dry up and die. Hopefully, that won't happen soon!

4 'Lyons Den is one of my favourite books in the Assassins/Shifter Series so I have been excited to find out what happened to a young Tanner. Just exactly how that all panned out, but at the same time slightly nervous because, well I love Devin and Andrei. I wasn't disappointed this was heartbreaking to see but it was a beautiful example of love happening more than once. The battle that Josh and Jason went through was believable. Enjoyed this one' stars.

Madder than a box of frogs, these stories just keep getting more insane as the journey to the point at which the Youngblood-Santano family intersects with the Assassin Shifters gets closer.

Still, smoking hot men, ridiculous amounts of sex and some good old fashioned mob justice make them a true addiction.

Another great add to the series. More twist and turns that left me shocked for sure. I laughed and cried. We get to met Alex and Dylan, Parker and Jake. Things change for everyone and I was shocked for sure. Can't wait for the next.

I keep reading this series bc even though it is quite cheesy I still want to read it. It s not my first try with this author whose books I actually enjoy so I am still suprise to see how silly these books are. They are repetitive as fuck, 129303030 characters, 139393020 couples in one book everyone is perfect, every relationship is epic bla bla. Every chapter you get a couple saying the same I love you, can t live without you, you are my soul mate dialogue.
Also naming the children after their dad and grandfathers was cute at the begining but now it is just ridiculous. Basically not only you have a series with so many couples that it is too damn hard to keep track of but now they all have the same name. Rant over... this is a series that I recommend you wait for it to be on sale or free bc paying more for it is just a loss of money.

Soap opera drama! I counted over 100 declarations of "love you" between all the different couples, that approx every third pages stumbling upon it. And I forgot to count how many times each new couple had to be ripping off shirts, buttons popping and flying. I think the author has a fetish.

And just like a soap opera tv show, some unbelievable story lines.

Too many high schoolers being hooked up as couples for my tastes. But I did enjoy the body guards Marco and Antonio. They were so sweet together.

A Page Turner... Is An Understatement

I was looking for a book to take along on a week long camping trip to the north woods of Minnesota. I downloaded the first book a day or two before I left to see if it would work. Well it took me all of one day to finish that so I took the leap and downloaded the rest of the series. Six books in a week as not hard at all. Sandrine Gasq-Dion is able to weave a story that takes you from the wonder and beauty of early romance to an extended family and the next generation. All the while exposing you to all the ups and downs that make life... life.
This book opens new doors and continues to make me root for the family, yet wonder what is in-store for them next. I eagerly await the next book. Write Sandrine write!

I absolutely love the Shifter / Assassin series and when the characters from this series drifted into that series, I was like yippee skippy more hot men love to read about. I love all of the characters, but I am at the point now that I need a road map or a family tree to keep people straight (hah straight, not a one in the bunch) I thought I was following who was who, but then I remembered from the assassin book, I can't remember which one that Tanner is alive, how the hell did that happen. Did Jordan get faked out. i have to go back and read some of those books to remind myself how they are all intertwined. I will continue with this series and any others in the assassin shifter and the olympians as well, since I cannot get enough of these men.

This is a great continuation of the series. This another look into all of the couples and their lives. We also get new people and couples introduced to the series, which was fun to read about.

I think the thing I loved most about this book, was the storyline about Tanner, and the resulting story between Josh and Jason and the development of their love and relationship.

I can't wait for the new book in the series, to see what the future holds with all these couples. This is a series where you definitely need to read the beginning to understand what's going on, as there are so many couples involved.

I love this series. It is kinda interesting to read about all these characters as they meet and start dating and the get married and start families when the first time you meet them is in the Assassin Shifter series and they are so much older. I laughed, I cried, I was totally immersed in this story. I actually had to reread Into The Lyons Den before I even finished this story. I would recommend having at least a minimum of two boxes of Kleenex on hand before you start this book. I am looking forward to what comes next.

Amazing series

I loved all of sandrine books, but this I loved and hated at the same time.. When Paul & mark split up, i was saying what r u doing and saying no no no u can't, and even tho I know they was together in the shifters books... But what broke my heart and cried was Tanner ( even tho He's Devlin Lyon's) it still gutted me.... Antonio and Marco so glad they together and to finally see some other names Dante and Lorenzo..... Loved the santorno series.... Absolutely fab ..

Love and sex on every page...repeatedly

There are so many couples at once and it gets boring and repetitious when every page you hear I love you a thousand times and followed by sex. What made the story good was the story of Josh and Jason. Overcoming their grief when Tanner is killed...they find peace with one another and inevitability fall in love. The best part was that no one was able to mention it to them so you get to discover their feelings with them...on that note I give this book a rating of 3 1/2 stars

They Are Going Through Awful Times

This is a well written interesting story about Jordan and Stefan's family and extended family. There are heartbreaking circumstances and hot relationships that will engage you with this family. I find myself laughing and crying for the things that these people go through. But it shows that when a family sticks together, they can get through all obstacles. Really an entertaining read. Enjoy I did.

I loved this book. I laughed, cried, happy and sad. Needed a box of Kleenex for this book. These couples went through so much and their friendships and respect for each other grew. I hope there is more about Dante and Kyle,Marco and Antonio and Jake and Parker. I can not wait for the next book. Erin

This held me riveted.

If you have been following the Santorno series you know that this is a pivotal point. It isn't a spoiler, but Tanner is shot in this story. I know what happened but it is still heartbreaking for Josh and Jay. I couldn't put the book down. But, don't read it out of order. Too many feelings.

Couldn't put it down

I really love this series. If you've read the Assassin shifter series this series gives you background into key characters. In this book the boys are starting families. There is a major tragedy so get your box of tissues ready you'll need it. The plot is fairly fast paced and very entertaining.

Great story. Always love to catch up with the Santorno clan.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars is there's too many characters with too many story lines and too much jumping around to the different storylines.

Maybe less updates on different couples per book would help and then there could be more books with more focus on each couple.

This book is what it is. A celebration of the end of a series. You see them as they move on with their lives and the men they love. They are starting families of their own. It was cute with the interaction with the children. There was way too much sex in the book and it got very repetitive. Over all it was a good catch up book with the men.

I did not like the beginning but that passed quickly. I cried a lot during this book. Just because death was close in other stories it hit hard in this one. Cancer raises its ugly head but love plays a large roll.
