*Note: I'm an author in this anthology. Take that for what it's worth.

Like with all anthologies, there's a little something for everyone. I enjoyed every one of these stories.
There were a few that really blew me away:
Sinkers by Dan Waters
Time Is a Face on the Water by Michael Bailey
Red Rabbit by Steve Rasnic Tem
Lockjaw by David Annandale
The Architecture of Snow by David Morrell

Aims for the disturbingly original. I think it succeeds. I won't give away any of the plots, though.

Oh well, Samhain Publishing of lasting infamy. This had to impact the series. (The quarter of a century since vol. 1 hasn't probably helped, either).

Most of the stories are solid, some hits and some misses as you'd expect from an anthology. All are new stories, except for David Morrell's (very good) "Architecture of Snow." That one dates from 2009, but is worth the price of admission if you haven't read it.

The biggest flaw in this volume is the editing. Some stories are pretty clean, but there are a couple that are almost unreadable due to typos and errors.
