A frank behind the scenes look at what it's like to be an escort, specifically one that offers the 'Girlfriend Experience'. The GFE entails more than just sleeping with a client, it includes a dinner date, maybe a walk or a show, and acting more like a couple. The book's chapters alternate between memorable clients/stories and her life outside of escorting, with regards to relationships with family, boyfriends and friends.

For some reason I wasn't expecting this book to be quite so frank, with regards to the sexual stories about clients, and intially I was surprised. But I quickly got used to the way the book was written and it was really interesting to read more about what happens behind closed doors when it comes to the escorting life. Some of the stories told made me laugh and others made me cringe, for example, when Bea went on a date with a guy who when eating, had fish all around his face. I would find that incredibly repulsive and think Bea is a better lady than me to put up with such disgusting manners! I also think it's a brave thing to bring out a book such as this, because of the bad 'slutty' reputations escorts can have, but Bea shows it doesn't have to be like that at all. An enjoyable read, although one definitely not for teens because of the sexual descriptions. If you're interested in what goes on the behind closed doors of an escort, or are just generally curious, this is the book for you, it's very open and shows you the warts and all aspect of the escorting profession.

It is not often that I can honestly say that I HATE a book but this thing made me throw up a little in my mouth. I was hoping it would be some kind of behind the scenes look at the escort industry and while I did get some of that info, it was totally overshadowed by the putrid narcissism of the author. She admits that she got into escorting because her whole life she wanted nice things and money without having to work for them. She is born spoiled selfish and shallow. She is a terrible person who actually made me feel sorry for the guys who purchase her services! Her definition of a "girlfriend experience" is having men pony up hundreds to thousands of pounds minimum to hang out with her at the swankiest restaurants and hotels, take her on international vacations, buy her clothes and spa treatments, and then maybe if/when she feels like it have sex with her. The rest of the time she treats her family, her clients, and everyone in general with a total lack of interest or respect. If I ever met this woman I would slap her just on principle. That is how much I hated this book.

I haven't really finished reading a book. After 9-10 chapters I was just done. I read her extra chapters what to do and not to do for escort or a client. I might comeback to it but not sure if I'll.

Before reading this book I read american escort life and to tell you the truth I thought I will enjoy more this one but it was opposite.

She seemed like a crying baby. Oh no its such a hard job and I don't have time for anything... Complaining for not having enough sleep constantly... She was like in her late 20, you can drink coffee you know doll?

I found her perspective interesting and it was fascinating to read what it's like to be an escort from the perspective of someone who chooses to be one as a desirable job and not more of a last resort. She revels in her power and has a strong personality.
