No me juzguen, pero esta tercera entrega de Calendar Girl, aunque muchos dicen que es el peor libro, a mí me gustó muchísimo. Sí, hay un montón de drama post-traume con Anton; sí, hay momentos en los que quieres decirle a Mia que es tonta por no entender lo que realmente sucede con Max; y sí, todo ese enredo con el ex-novio loco y mafioso de Las Vegas es un verdadero pain in the ass, pero aún así creo que es el libro que más me entretuvo.
Mia se desliga un poco da la rutina de escort que ha tenido en los anteriores libros y, a pesar de que todo lo malo que le puede suceder le sucede, también descubre secretos familiares, sus verdaderos sentimientos hacia Wes y el valor que han tenido todas y cada una de las experiencias que ha vivido a lo largo de sus meses trabajando para la tía Millie.
Obviamente en este libro no faltan las escenas de sexo (hey, esto sigue siendo una tetralogía erótica), así que están advertidos, pequeños merodeadores.
De todos los giros del libro, creo que el de Max fue el que más me gustó. La revelación que ocurre sobre la mitad del libro cambia la vida de Mia, cambia su manera de pensar y su manera de reaccionar ante ciertas situaciones. Además, Max es un hombre maravilloso que se toma su nuevo papel con respecto a Mia (#IsaTratandoDeNoHacerSpoiler) de una manera preciosa y graciosa a la vez. Tras este cambio en su relación, las interacciones de estos dos me dividieron entre la risa y la ternura, eran lo máximo de verdad. Ojalá yo tuviera una figura como Max en mi vida. ¿Es una figura romántica? ¿Es una figura de amistad? ¿Es una relación más bien familiar? ¡No les voy a decir porque tienen que descubrirlo!
Ahora, lo que me causa muchísima curiosidad es cómo se va a desarrollar el cuarto libro tras el cambio de estatus de la relación entre Mia y nuestro adorado surfista. Necesito saber cómo va a funcionar eso. Aunque, si me preguntan a mí, creo que esta tetralogía va a tener un final muy feliz.

Abgebrochen bei 33%.
Nach längerem überlegen habe ich mich dazu entschlossen die Reihe abzubrechen.
Leider wurde die gesamte Story von Buch zu Buch unerträglicher.
Die Protagonistin habe ich von Anfang an überhaupt nicht gemocht durch ihre dämliche Art im Handeln und Denken.
Ich konnte teilweise nicht mehr mit dem Augenrollen und Kopfschütteln aufhören.
Und da ich die Zeit lieber in bessere Bücher investieren möchte Sortier ich hiermit die Reihe aus.

Honestamente estos libros me van decepcionando cada vez más.
Mia en el primer libro pensaba mucho más con la cabeza que con la vagina, ahora en este libro es al revés, piensa mucho más con la vagina que con la cabeza. Lo cual ha sido el detonante de que sea un mal libro. Era independiente, audaz, fuerte, inteligente, tenia carácter, etc.
Ahora es una niña malcriada que depende de todos, que tiene todo menos carácter y por ende cometa errores, que después tiene que limpiar la mierda que cometió.
Si la autora quería que se desarrollara el lado sensible de Mia, hizo un mal trabajo, no logre entender porque se quedo a lado de su padre que fue él que la metió en todos sus problemas, pudiendo ella salir adelante mientras el padre sigue en coma, ella tiene que resolver su vida, no quedándose en un hospital un mes entero, cuidando a alguien que esta en coma, osea como se cuida a alguien que esta en coma? Lo siento pero se me hizo ridículo e innecesario, ademas del mes más aburrido del mundo (y eso que creía que Febrero había sido el peor).
Después viene lo peor, Mia tiene que saldar la deuda de su padre a como dé lugar, aunque no tiene como, ya que sigue a lado de este, sin salir del hospital. Ella se encuentra con Blaine, quien en un momento desesperado le da un beso, que casi hace que tengan relaciones, pensando que es Wes, como al besar a alguien sientes que es otra persona? Incluso que esta persona sea la que más aborreces en la vida? En serio se me hace super irreal.
Al igual que la nueva familia de Maddy y Mia, toda la situación se me hace irreal y en ningún momento sentí una conexión familiar, poco creíble, etc.
En serio Mia, me llego a sacar de quicio casi todo el libro. Cada mes se me hace mas estúpida. En el libro expresa que ella cada mes, se encuentra descubriéndose a si misma pero honestamente me gustaba la Mia de al principio del primer libro, no a la de ahora, que solo veo que comete errores uno detrás de otro. Pero cuando ya no puede con toda la mierda que tiene su vida, se cuestiona todo. *Aplausos*
Solo le puse 3 estrellas por Wes, mi amado Wes, las apariciones de Wes son lo mejor del libro.
Solo falta un libro, el ultimo trimestre del año, que espero con todas mis fuerzas al menos tenga un final decente y Mia deje de ser tan estúpida en los tres meses restantes, que utilice la cabeza en lugar de la vagina como en este libro. La historia tiene un buen argumento pero lastima que la autora no supo explotarlo.

Como me ha pasado con las anteriores entregas de esta saga, tengo sentimientos encontrados con este libro. Es como esas pelis de sábado por la tarde, que son malísimas pero no puedes dejar de ver.
Con este entrega la saga ha pasado a ser un culebron en toda regla, lleno de lugares comunes e incongruencias, un lenguaje chabacano a más no poder (Wes no hablaba así en el primer libro, por Dior) y con una protagonista irresponsable que nunca se para a pensar en las consecuencias de sus actos. Si a eso le sumas que todos están buenísimos y el giro del último mes (un WTF en toda regla), no puede ser más irreal todo.

En esta tercera parte hay un cambio brutal en la trama y sinceramente me ha gustado mucho ese giro porque hay como más trama y menos escenas repetitivas. Además de que no me esperaba nada de lo que pasa y ha estado muy interesante, agosto es la clave. Solo con deciros que no podía separarme mucho del libro… ya os digo todo. Bueno, y que alguna que otra lagrimilla se me ha escapado, era inevitable. Aunque sigue teniendo cosas que no me terminan de gustar del todo.
Mia sigue evolucionando favorablemente y en esta parte no le queda otra que aprender que los chicos no lo son todo y hay cosas más importantes antes, como la familia. Me ha gustado mucho ese cambio que no todo sean todo “chicos” y se centre también un poco en la vida de ella y de su familia, que era un tema que estaba un poco de lado.

En resumen, Calendar Girl #3 es el libro que más me ha gustado de la saga porque el cambio brutal que tiene y sigue siendo una historia entretenida, fácil de leer e ideal para leer entre lecturas más densas.

Drama, Baby, Drama! Meine Güte. So viel davon auf doch recht wenig Seiten. Unvorhergesehene Ereignisse und Drama von allen Seiten. Fast schon zu viel auf einmal, denn alles passiert auf einmal. Man muss der Autorin zu gute halten, dass man dennoch alles gut verfolgen kann und nicht durcheinander kommt. Ansonsten ist alles ähnlich wie in den vorherigen Geschichten.

Después de haber leído Calendar Girl 1 y Calendar Girl 2, me sumergí en las páginas de la tercera entrega de esta tetralogía buscando un poco más de emoción y algo diferente a lo que había mostrado en los dos anteriores. Y finalmente lo he encontrado en este libro, el más diferente de los tres.
El mes de septiembre no tiene nada que ver con el resto. Debido a la trama y circunstancias, el libro toma un rumbo bastante inesperado. He disfrutado bastante de esta segunda mitad del libro porque nos saca completamente de la monotonía de cada mes y del sexo desenfrenado, aportando una crudeza y tensión que engancha bastante.
Debo reconocer que, sin duda, para mí este ha sido el mejor libro de los tres porque aunque empieza flojo con el mes de julio, va creciendo de una manera asombrosa hasta terminar en septiembre con ganas de querer leer el cuarto y último libro y poder descubrir cómo termina la aventura de Mia.

Hätten denn die ersten beiden Teile nicht genauso gut sein können wie der Dritte? :P - es lohnt sich weiterzulesen! Es passiert so viel und Mia wird einem oder wurde zumindest mir, so viel mehr sympathisch! Bin jetzt auf den letzten Teil gespannt und hoffe einfach, dass es sich bis zum Ende durchzieht wie der dritte Band.

I did not like this book, at all! Although I didn't like the whole book, the first month, July, was actually pretty okay. Mia finally had the nerve to accept that she was in love with the person she was meant to be with. As well as her client not being a total douche-canon, so there's that. Than we went on to August were Mia struggled through a new addition to her family, as well as some other secrets that came out throughout the month of August. I have to say though, the secret was pretty obvious from the first chapter in this particular month. Something that made it more boring to read that month, because there was literally nothing else happening. The last month in this anthology was September. I disliked the story for September so much so, that the rating for this book just sunk lower and lower. I think the thing that bothered me the most about that month, was the way Mia cheated on Wes and while doing so, she, somehow in explicit detail, remembered all the fun sexual adventures she had with her douchebag ex, which she cheated with, for whom she is being an escort so that she can pay off her father's debt. I didn't like that, AT ALL! So yeah, until now these books, unfortunately, have gotten worse and worse!

Nach dem "Juli" hab ich echt gedacht,dass ich das nicht mehr lange ertragen kann.
Seitenlange detaillierte Beschreibungen wie Mia mit Wes vögelt,dass war dann doch etwas too much fand ich.
August und September haben es dann aber total rausgerissen.
Es war total angenehm,dass diese Kapitel kaum sexuell angehaucht waren und es viel mehr um Mia und ihre Familie geht.
Die Entwicklungen diesbezüglich kamen für mich überraschend,haben mir aber gut gefallen.
Bin nun gespannt wie die letzten drei Monate noch werden.

Inesperadamente, este já não é apenas um romance erótico, original e inteligente, em que Audrey Carlan nos oferece um boa protagonista que, com uma jornada peculiar, vai dando a ver intervenientes diversificados e novas visões contemporâneas de relacionamentos e estilos de vida. No terceiro livro da série A Rapariga do Calendário o enredo sofre reviravolta atrás de reviravolta, condensando e aproximando alguns dos que já nos tinham encantado e aprimorando todos os pontos que tornam esta narrativa destacável entre os seus pares, tornando-a, definitivamente, no romance erótico mais viciante que li até hoje – sou fã! Estou verdadeiramente surpreendida pois este é, sem dúvida alguma, o melhor volume de todos até ao momento.

Estoy emocionada, realmente me gusta mucho esta historia, el primer libro me sorprendió, el segundo me gustó mucho pero claro..... no podía ser todo flores y violas, no no para nada..... Este libro viene movidito así que "agarraos" a una silla que viene!
En este libro Mía sufre un torbellino de emociones, su vida cambia al descubrir que tiene un pariente que no conocía y que va a cambiar su vida y la de su hermana por completo.
Wes y Mia deciden empezar una relación, admiten su amor y aunque Mía debe pagar su deuda y trabajar eso no les frenará. Pero algo sucederá con Wes y Mía creerá haberlo perdido para siempre.....
El pasado vuelve a cargar contra Mía y hará que esta pase por los peores momentos de su vida.
Me ha encantado el libro, lástima que no pueda contaros más, pero ya veréis, merece la pena leerlo y descubrir lo que pasa.

Creo que cuando el cielo avisa tormenta todo se encausa mal pero cuando acaba llega la calma, es exactamente lo que le paso a Mia en este libro todo el drama dio un giro en el que muchas cosas cambian pero es la trayectoria de un final que se acerca y nos deja de moraleja que la vida es una constante ruleta; donde se aprende, se sufre, se rie y se llora cada una de las vivencias por este viaje que es la vida.

TW: SEXUAL ASSAULT AND PTSD/FLASHBACKS
At this point, I don’t even have any expectations. I know I’ll be disappointed no matter what, but I feel like I have to finish the series because I’ve come this far. Anyway, lets get on with the point, shall we? Also, a warning, this is going to be a long ass review, so brace yourselves.
July - Mia is sent to Miami, Florida, where she meets Anton Santiago. He goes by the name Latin Lov-ah, and like every other man in this book, he is good looking with a rock-hard body, acts like a bellend until you «get to know him», and surprise, he’s probably great in bed too. She is hired to be in one of Anton’s new music videos, where she’ll try to seduce him with her dance moves and unique looks.
I just can’t take this book seriously, I know it’s supposed to be hot and sexy, but Latin-ah? Not to forget, I vividly remember her being described as nothing out of the ordinary, regular, nothing special etc the previous books, so I don’t really understand where her «unique looks» comes in. Pretty early on, she reveals that she doesn’t know how to dance. I have a question, how did she get casted for this video? If you take part in a dancing video, shouldn’t one of the first requirements be that you have to be a some what good dancer? They didn’t even check, it doesn’t make sense. I feel like this is just one more part of the story where it doesn’t really make sense, but the author had to write twelve books to get to the point, where Mia helps her father out at the end of the year.
He also uses Spanish words in english sentences, and I am pretty sure that the french guy in that other book did the same thing as well. I don’t even remember his name, but i think he used french words in regular sentences. Am I the only one who think it’s weird? I don’t use Norwegian words when I talk english with english people, it’s not like I’m in a conversation and suddenly I say something like «I don’t think it was funny because my friend acted like a liten dritt (little shit)». Sorry, it just doesn’t make sense to me.
I can’t stand Ginelle and Mia’s friendship, I know they’re joking and whatever, but it’s not at all cute or funny. I wish they would grow up a little bit, and the nicknames, I can’t take them (or anything else in this book for that matter) seriously.

I mean, who wouldn’t love to have a best friend who makes light of your sexual assault. Also, Gin invites Wes to Mia’s birthday party because if she won’t sleep with Anton, she’ll probably sleep with Wes. Apparently, getting laid will cure her problems and make things okay again.
Mia is so incredibly childish at times, and I don’t understand why people find that so incredibly attractive and sexy. She’s rude to her clients, yet she gets away with it because she looks so good and wonderful, yet she was described as just a regular girl in the first book. I’m just curious as to where she got that wonderful and stunning appearance, since it just appeared out of the blue. It’s not like getting a Brazilian wax is going to change your whole life, and make you look like a brand new person.
This book contained a terrible depiction of mental health, and Anton insisted on touching Mia despite it triggering her to anxiety attacks and blackouts. Anton tells about his past because Mia put him on the spot, and it’s so incredibly cliche.
Anton is so incredibly insensitive and disrespectful when it comes to Mia’s feelings, and her anxiety after the sexual assault. At one point, he presses his hands against her hips, and rubbed his groin along her ass to a point where she broke out in sweat and asked him to stop. She told him what happened and how she felt, yet, he continues to «forget» it. The least thing he could do was to give her a warning before touching her, and ask her if she was okay with the dance moves he, Maria and Heather came up with.
Suddenly, Heather and Anton starts fighting in front of Mia, making her extremely uncomfortable. When Heather gets angry, he lifts up her chin and calls her «baby», without taking what she said seriously. When she’s had enough, she spills the beans and tells him she’s considering taking a job offering. He shouts at her, saying «You are not fucking leaving me!». Honestly, this whole scene was disgusting. When he tries to make it better, offers to do anything she wants, says she’s the only one he listens to, gives her a raise etc, she storms off without telling anybody what she really wants.
Wes and Mia doesn’t even have a conversation when they meet, they jump straight to having sex. And miraculously she doesn’t have a flashback because Wes’ touch is so special and unique that it doesn’t matter anymore. Everything is suddenly okay, maybe this is supposed to be a sign and they’re ment for each other, but it’s not realistic at all. You can’t really control flashbacks, you can trust someone more than strangers of course, but you can’t choose to not be affected by their touch.

Wow, what a great way to end the first book. Dealing with mental health and trauma is that easy, problem solved, no problem. It’s so convenient that she got over it right in time for the seductive music video, just wonderful. And not to forget the fact that Wes is actually possessive and low-key racist, amazing. «Tee tee».
August - This time, Mia has been hired to be the long lost sister of oil tycoon, Maxwell Cunningham, in Dallas, Texas. One of the richest men in the world left forty-nine percent of his company to a woman named Mia Saunders. What a coincidence.
Lets just state the obvious and get the cat out of the bag. Wes is so possessive and demanding, it’s actually scary to see how she takes it. Early on in the book, Mia talks to his housekeeper, and shit goes down when she continuously tries to stir the pot and bring up things that could potentially cause drama. And then, she says this;
«There are very few things that he doesn’t get when he sets his mind to having them. You would do well to learn that now. If you are what he wants, you are what he will have, or he’ll die trying»
We are talking about a person, not an object. He actually has the nerve to move her out of her own apartment because he wants her to live with him. He didn’t even ask, he just expected her to be okay about it. The sad part is, she just gives in and says it’s okay.
When she meets Max, he, like everyone else in the story, has no boundaries and invades her privacy to a whole other level. His asks personal questions about both her and her family, his wife even went into Mia’s phone, yet she just brushes it off even though they’re acting weird and creepy.
Lets not forget the fact that Max and his wife invited Mia’s sister Maddie and her fiancé to visit their farm, and cried when they heard about her for the first time. I’m sorry, but what in the world went through her sister’s head when she actually accepted a strangers offer to travel with a privat airplane to their farm? At this point, I can’t believe she makes excuses, this is just creepy behavior, no doubt about it.
When she falls asleep, she has these weird dreams from her childhood, where a boy came up to her and said he wanted her mother to be his mother, because he didn’t have a mother himself. No surprise, his name was Max. But, instead of taking it seriously even though she clearly remember meeting a boy named Max who looked like the younger version of the Max she knows now, she still brushes it off and acts surprised when the plot twist comes.
There’s a point in the book where his wife Cyndi literally says «Tell her» right in front of Mia, and when they don’t say anything she doesn’t even bother to ask what’s going on. She just brushes it off an blames it on «their weird behavior». I’m not sure if she’s just stupid, or if she actually believes that nothing is going on, either way it’s just eyerolling.
You don’t really have to be a brain surgeon to figure out the plot twist in this book either, it literally wasn’t a surprise what so ever. I think everyone and their mother probably saw that one coming, but anyway. She gets angry as she usually does, and even though I understand why, it still annoys the crap out of me. I just really can’t stand Mia as a character.
September - As Mia rushes home to Las Vegas, things takes a turn when she forgets to pay back what she owes this month, and is forced to pay 200 000 dollars to Blaine as soon as possible.
The book starts off at the hospital where both Mia and Maddie waits as their father’s health gets worse, and his body reacts negatively to the medicine the hospital is giving him. The weird thing about the whole thing is that throughout the whole series, and this is the eight book, she hasn’t mentioned her father in a positive way. She goes on rambling about how stupid her father is for making a mess and ending up in debt, but at the end of it she says «but he loved us» as if that makes us feel for them as a family. Suddenly she starts talking about all the great memories they’ve had throughout the years, and how much of a wonderful dad he was to them. I just would like to read about that sooner, rather than dragging it out in one chapter because his life is suddenly at risk. The whole reason she took the job as an escort was to save her father and clean up the mess he made, so it would be nice to know why she even bothered in the first place.
Suddenly, after not contacting Wes for weeks, she finds out that he’s either missing, dead or captured by terrorists. His family didn’t want the media finding out that he was traveling or whatever, which is an extremely stupid thought because he could be in danger? If someone in my family went missing, I would do anything to get them back, I wouldn’t just sit there and wait because I didn’t want to attract attention, even I’m not that stupid. Apparently, there’s nothing she can do because she doesn’t have any money. She could save her own ass, as well as her father, yet she choses to not borrow any money from all her rich friends, or her rich brother that wouldn’t have the slightest problem with it. There comes a time where being stubborn isn’t working, and you need to ask for help in order to help yourself and the ones you love. I can’t with this girl, she is just unbelievable.
Also, lets talk about Gin, and how she is extremely insensitive and rude towards basically everybody, but especially Mia. She is fully aware that Mia’s father is fighting for his life and that the doctors are telling the family that it’s time to say goodbye, yet she bursts into the hospital room, says something about «bearing gifts» and continues to talk about her buying things because the guy in the shops was super hot. Not only that, she gets angry because Mia didn’t mention the fact that she met Aspen, a woman who apparently is «Gin’s ticket to fame». I’m sorry, but it’s not the fucking time.
When things couldn’t get any worse, Gin gets kidnapped, and Mia is forced to go out on a «date» with Blaine. She tells Blaine to let her best friend go, but also spends a lot of time talking about food. Prioritizing. She makes an offer, and they almost end up sleeping together because she is daydreaming about Wes? Please stop. She spent eight books talking about how much she loves Wes, yet she makes out with him and gives in as soon as she closed her eyes.
I am so fucking sick and tired of Mia’s decisions. Her money problems could be solved in a couple of hours, yet she tries to make it so difficult and makes excuses because she wants to do everything by herself, even though it puts the rest of her family and acquaintances in danger. En esta nueva entrega, conoceremos a Anton un cantante de hip-hop en el mes de julio. Y aun Maxwell que nos va a traer de cabeza porque cambia completamente la vida de Mia ¿por qué? Uy porque Maxwell, no es un simple cliente, sino que entrará junto a su familia pero que muy fuerte en la vida de Mia y Maddy.
Su padre empeora en el mes de septiembre y Mia se ve obligada a volver a verse con su ex, lo que llevara a desesperarse a Mia hasta el punto de dejar su tozudez y dejarse ayudar, aunque de aquellas maneras, justo en el momento de que Wes ha desaparecido de su vida.
¿Pero por qué Mia necesita ayuda? ¿Por qué su padre empeora? ¿Tiene algo que ver su ex? ¿Por qué vuelve su pasado a ella? ¿Quién será Maxwell que tanto cambia la vida de Mia? ¿Dónde está Wes? Un montón de interrogantes que sólo despejaras si lees el libro.
La pluma de la autora, sigue siendo fantástica, y tengo que decir que éste libro nuevamente me ha enganchado a la saga, porque el segundo no sé por qué me daba la sensación que flojeaba un poco. Pero de nuevo nos quedamos con las ganas de saber que le pasará a Mia y compañía en sus últimos meses como Scort.
¿Os vais a perder esta saga???? Yo os la recomiendo si os gusta el género romántico, o más bien erótico. Si queréis ir viendo madurando a la protagonista, conocer la vida de las Scorts, y sobre todo para pasaros el libro babeando 😊 y viendo pedazo tíos que pasan por la vida de Mia.

Hola colegas lectores
He terminado de leer la tercera entrega de esta saga y pues si bien no es uno de esos libros que diríamos vaya pasaran a la posteridad te dan esos momentos de entretenimiento y a mi en particular las tres entregas que voy leyendo me han entretenido bien . Esta parte numero 3 como que tiene muchos altibajos para la protagonista y unas escenas de ripley jajajaja . Saludos

¡Pero que drama ha sido este libro!
Cuando comencé a leerlo no me había convencido del todo, de hecho dejé en pausa la lectura por bastante tiempo, pero luego decidí retomar y con el pasar de las hojas le tomé el gustito a todo el drama y terminé dejándome llevar 😊
Las emociones fueron diversas ¡y es que pasan demasiadas cosas!
La evolución de Mia me ha gustado mucho, y debo reconocer que estoy expectante respecto a lo que vendrá en el cuarto -y último- libro de la saga 😊
En fin, lo he pasado muy bien, y como siempre, me ha costado despegarme del libro.

Calendar Girl wasn’t a series it was an adventure. A year long adventure of self discovery and fun for the main character, Mia. This series is amazing because it can be binged or it can be read in short snippets by reading a month at a time. The storyline is all the angst and drama filled goodness you want from a Las Vegas setting.
Mia is hard to crack. She is a fighter and I really admire her and loved seeing her grow through the year.

Este libro sin duda hasta el momento es mi preferido de la saga.
Tiene muchos cambios dramáticos en la trama, lo cual hace que uno no pueda parar de leer.
Sin duda le gustaron mucho los nuevos personajes que aparecieron ya que hicieron mucho mejor la historia de Mía.
Ya quiero leer el último libro para saber que nos prepara, octubre, noviembre y diciembre 😍📖
