Bear Meets Bride

Rate this book
Bear meets bride...together forever, side by side.
When it comes to finding her perfect match, she won’t give up…

Small-town bakery owner Erin is looking for a good man—a man who will love her exactly as she is, curves and all. So far she hasn’t had much luck in the romance department, but when she finds a new online dating website, things start to look up. The site promises to deliver love, romance, and steamy encounters for women like her...and how could she say no to that? Sure, the site is misspelled as Dare2Bear when it’s obviously meant to be called Dare2Bare, but that’s just a silly typo, right…?

When she’s matched up with local cop Tom Ackerman, she’s thrilled. He's the perfect man - kind, handsome, dedicated to his work, and even more dedicated to making her happy...although he seems to be hiding something.

She doesn't expect to be thrust into a murder investigation while dating him, but that’s exactly what happens when a crazed killer sets his sights on her.

Can Tom keep her out of harm’s way…and will he ever let her know his secret?

When it comes to protecting his mate, this bear will stop at nothing…

Montana cop Tom Ackerman has wanted local bakery owner Erin Silguero for years, and when she pops up as a match for him on the shifter dating site Dare2Bear.com, he’s ecstatic.

He knows Erin is his perfect mate, but there’s a small problem. Despite using the website, she somehow has no idea that he’s a bear shifter, and there’s another bear shifter roaming around killing people in the area—making bears very unpopular indeed—so will Erin ever be able to accept him for what he is?

He’s about to find out, because when the aforementioned serial killer tries to target Erin, Tom will have to do everything he can to keep her safe, even if that means revealing his true nature…

Can Erin fall for a bear shifter? And can Tom win his mate’s heart and keep her out of harm’s way while solving the case?

Bear Meets Bride is a standalone shifter romance with action, steamy scenes, and a scorching-hot bear hero who would do anything for his mate.....enjoy!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Loved it. Recommend to all shifter lovers. Tom is a bear shifter cop looking for a serial killer but he is also looking for love. Erin has finally got her bakery up and going and now she is starting to feel lonely. When these two get together it is an adventure. It is a stand alone book with a kick butt HEA.

Good story

Erin is slightly dim but sweet, she is unaware a dating website DaretoBear is for shape shifting bears. She falls in love with her own bear and a serial killer bear is killing neighbours.

A fun read with new relationships, love, and a murderer on the lose. Erin is very strong willed and independent. She started her own business and has worked hard to make it successful. This leaves little time to find someone to spend her sparse off time with. Tom has similar problems with his job taking up much of his time and an odd schedule.

Bear Meets Bride is a fun sexy story. In truth, there really isn’t much more for me to entice you with about this story since the cover description tells you far more than I normally would have. *grin – I’m evil like that*

The fascinating part of this story, aside from Erin and Tom’s hot romance, was the murderer who happens to be a bear shifter. The slow growing concern, the increase in violence and the seemingly purposeful focus on law enforcement and their families brings this search to the doorsteps of those who are seeking to find this killer. The tension was slow building until it erupted – and it was very well played, in my opinion.

I liked this couple, they were truly two people who got lucky on a dating site and took their flirtation into a true dating, then couple arrangement. It was a natural progression and the timing made perfect sense. I always got a bit of a chuckle every time Erin referred to the website Dare2Bear wrong – she was convinced it was a typo… silly girl.

Overall, Bear Meets Bride was a good, satisfying and sexy story. And I’ll be on the lookout for more of this author’s works.

I have not read many books from this author before this one. Which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Erin was the owner of a bakery and Tom was a cop in the same small town.
Erin went on a online dating site not relishing it wad a shifter dating site.
Erin found Tom was on the same site looking for a date with someone.
They had a date and got on fantastic so they made arrangements to have another one.
On the second date things went very well indeed. The next morning Tom got a phone call
from his boss and was told there's been another killing so he had to go to work.
In the meantime Erin still had no idea Tom was a werebear.
Will Erin be able to look at Tom the same way when she finds out .

A very different shifter romance book from any of the previous ones i have read. Really enjoyed how their wasn't fated mates and it really did become their choice and what they wanted. I liked the idea of shifters being new to the world and have barely any understanding of their nature.

This was a really good read, medium paced and not to long or short. Characters was well described and enjoyable to read about. This is the first book i have read from Sasha Winter and i have honeslty enjoyed the authors writing style.

From the first charapter i really enjoyed reading the story and how the story kept getting better and better as you read on. The plot was brillaint espically as it kept you on edge through the story.

Recieved this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Received this complimentary arc copy from the author for an honest review.
Erin Silguero owns a bakery, working all hours and wants more from life. It is time to meet someone, a man to love, spend time with. She joins dating agency Dare2Bear not realising it is a shifter website.
Local cop Tom Ackerman has fancied Erin for years so when she pops up on the dating website it is like a dream come true.
This is a story of two people wanting love, companionship and much more but there is a dark cloud on their horizon. A killer shifter on the loose.
A fast paced romance thriller that will keep you guessing all the way.
A brilliantly written story that you won't want to end. Loved it all.

Erin decides to try her luck at online dating and chooses a site called Dare2Bear, believing it is a typo, she doesn’t realize it is a sight for bear shifters. She runs across the page of someone she knows, a cop named Tom and decides to send him a message. At the moment Tom is working on a shifter case in which a bear might be a serial killer. Can he find the killer before he strikes to close to home? This is a fast paced fun read. Lots of drama and suspense but funny as well. The chemistry between Erin and Tom is steamy. I really liked it.

Very enjoyable story and the characters were fantastic. Great adventure and suspense. I loved how the heroine didn't know she was on a dating site for shifters and didn't realize it. I loved the ending and plan to read more books from this author. I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review, and I highly recommend it to lovers of shifters, especially bear shifters. I was given this has a ARC.

She is looking for someone to love her just as she is and the online site looks promising. She doesn't realize it is for shifters and the bear shifter she is matched with doesn't intend to lose his chance.

Erin and Tom make a great couple. He is just what she needs. He is very protective especially with a killer out there.

It is well-written and paced to keep your interest. It has a HEA that you will enjoy.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Great romantic suspense story. Two tough cookies, both characters are workaholics who with the help of a dating site decide it’s time to make some time for a relationship. Unfortunately there’s a murderer on the loose which quickly puts a monkey wrench in this new relationship… enjoyed reading how they handle it.

I really enjoyed this book. It was heartfelt and touching as well as being fast paced and intriguing. You have a very well done alpha male shifter and his self reliant, strong witted non shifter female in a great story about murder, mystery and finding love.
