There is a certain quadrant on how to manage your time. Using this formula of time management, we can boost our time efficiency- if your employee don't bring 80% of the total income, fire them. Stop multi-tasking- it's only a myth.

Time Management gurus have time and again reinforced basic concepts and principles that help us manage our time better. Yet, as we move into the future, with more time organising devices than ever, many of us wonder how hours and days slip by unnoticed. This is the issue that The Productivity Revolution seeks to address.

Before I started reading this book, it did occur to me for a moment, that most books on time management are about things that we already know, aren’t they? Well yes, says the author Marc Reklau. As he rightly puts it in The Productivity Revolution, “common sense is not common action! “So, the book promises an action-packed journey, after which you will hopefully have much more time on your hands! Love the tip-packed chapters!

It’s fine. It’s a decent overview of common ideas about productivity, and perhaps if I had never read a book about productivity, I’d be inspired. But it doesn’t really go into anything in great depth and it told me nothing new. It’s not really the books fault that I had read all the ideas before elsewhere, but because it didn’t go into depth, it was also not the most interesting version of these ideas. It is more like an outline of the productivity conversation.

One thing I enjoy about Reklau's books is that they are often short, sweet, and to the point. His book is all content, no fluff. I've read books like this in the past where I felt like they spent 3/4 of the book droning on about meaningless things. Reklau doesn't do that at all. This book was very straightforward with suggestions of how to improve my productivity. One of the things I loved most about this book is the fact that he makes it clear you aren't supposed to try to impliment all of the suggestions right away...it's just not possible. He encourages the reader to focus on the tips that work for them and move forward. I'm excited to see how his tips help to improve my productivity.

Just do it. Period.

An easy-going book with a lot of practical suggestions to improve productivity. The author is very clear about the goal of this book, and he tried his level best to communicate them in a friendly yet authoritative tone. Most of the suggestions have a scientific backup. But, some of them have no valid evidence. However, as the intention is good, the book won't do any harm. The thing is, you already know all this stuff; you are simply not following. Hence, the author is organising and connecting the ideas so that we can make them practical.

This is a quick and easy book that provides decent techniques for improving productivity. Techniques and recommendations include Pareto's principle (80/20 rule), proactively managing and planning schedule, batching, organization, declining additional work when needed, removing distractions (primarily cell phones, social media), and treating the mind/body with sufficient sleep, good diet, consistent exercise.

A concise summary of all those productivity tricks.

This book is short, can be read in one long sitting (I finished it in about two hours), language is easy and there are fewer case studies but most of the tips and tricks are coming from writer's personal experience. Keep this book as a short summary of all those productivity trends.

This book tells us amazing ways about how to increase your productivity but frankly if you've read the book 30 Days by the same author then you'll find that mostly this book is repetitive and the ways are same. However the questions given to ask oneself are a great way to increase our knowledge of self. So a thumbs up from my end!

A short refresher book about all the things you already know to do, but probably don't. Make lists, get off the social media, wake up earlier, meditate ect ect. This is a perfect little book that hits the highlights of the greats like Covey, and Ziglar.
