The Negative Man: Stormfall

Rate this book
“When a super operating at maximum capacity is hit by a force that has broken the sound barrier, the resulting fallout would be known as The Stormfall. The energy discharged by such an occurrence would potentially have the same effects of a nuclear bomb. However, in certain cases, the destruction and loss of life would be worth it. There are some supers who were never meant to exist.” – Dr. Leonard Cooper, The Stormfall Theory

The Dark Lion is dead.

The citizens of Pacific Station saw their protector not just beaten, but broken before he was mercifully killed by The Negative Man. Now all that is left to stand in The Negative Man’s way is the police department, led by Chief Harvey Grimes. A cold, calculated man, even he realizes he needs his own weapon – enter the Titan. A powerful super in its own right, the mechanical hunter appeared shortly after the fall of the Lion. Its objective: to kill The Negative Man.

That’s not all. In the shadows lurks another, one born to take up the yellow cloak and the weight it carries. But he too carries a burden, one of revenge. Can the Son of the Lion cast aside his hate for the sake of Pacific Station or is it his destiny to unleash The Stormfall?

I live in Orlando, FL with my wife, son, and dog. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I am happy to bring my crazy visions life. Check out Ragnarok on Ice (Norse adventures trilogy), The Inglewood Chronicles (a supernatural mystery series), and The Negative Man (a superhero action series) at your convenience!

The Negative Man is back. However no one knew that The Dark Lion actually had a son. With the Aces gone, Jericho decides to get rid of the vigilante group going by animal names. Out of nowhere comes TITAN and this is a threat to him a the power Titan uses is positive--his opposite. Lots of action as Negative Man tries to figure out who the new Lion is and how to get rid of Titan. Most important is where did the file about Stormfall come from and can the person who found it actually kill The Negative Man? Will Pacific Station survive?

The story held me captivated...again. Also, I love the extras at the end of the book--insights! I certainly hope there is more to come!

A good read packed with incredible action. The science can get a little thick at times but enjoyable. And speaking of science there is some great Easter eggs to a geeky sitcom. Part two certainly ups the stakes from the first book!

I loved City of Chaos and everything that it brought to the table. When I started reading Stormfall, I was a bit apprehensive - could my favorite author deliver another masterpiece after blowing me away with the first?

Stormfall delivers the boom and so much more. Due to the nature of the series, I can't reveal much, but I'll do what I can. The Negative Man is back and is expanding on his plans not just to take over the city, but the entire country. How he's going to do that is very intriguing. Then the new characters, what an absolute joy to see another cast of heroes and villains with such depth. Father Reigart was by far my favorite, as his relationship with The Negative Man is one of the best subplots in the story.

I know this is an independent published book, but if you happen to stumble upon it or its predecessor City of Chaos, grab them! These are how novels should be written.
