After two years of unsuccessful attempts, Alex and Kelly Walker finally get the news they have been hoping for... they are going to have a baby! Excited to be adding to their family, Alex and Kelly are faced with some relationship-straining complications, a not so shocking revelation from their daughter, and a trip down memory lane that will test Alex's resolve. When the big day arrives, will Alex be able to share in the joy of watching new life emerge, or will a devastating turn of events tear apart everything she and Kelly have worked for?
Sarah Markel loves to write. When she's not writing, she spends her time playing helping her children expand their imaginations. Sarah's goal is write 100 books before her children leave home, and with her children constantly inspiring new story ideas, she shouldn't have any trouble reaching that goal. Sarah lives in Oregon with her faithful furbaby, Leia, and her two amazing children.
As the two before it was an all feel good type of book for me. Going through a pregnancy is an anxious and exciting time. For the partner it can be very stressful and you have to consider twice before you suggest things or given an advice because the hormones are erratic and the sudden changes of mood have a huge impact on your daily life. Making sacrifices is not a bad thing, it's all worth it in the end. All of this provide hilarious moments and I often have to laugh at their quarrel, their quarrel over trifles. I love Kelly, a strong woman who is willing to do whatever is necessary to take care of her family. But also does Alex. I liked how all the characters developed and specially the young ones. You will fall in love with the couple, with their family story. The story is filled with romance and love of family and friends. It has the emotional ups and downs that makes this so awesome. The author has a wonderful way of drawing you right into the book. It is written with warmth, empathy and humour. I felt completely satisfied but I'm begging for more. There is still so much to tell. Please Sarah, don't let us readers down and give us a 4th installment.
I have waited patiently for this book to be released and not even a minute after receiving it I started reading it. Just like the other 2 books in this series I could not put it down. I love the dynamic between the family as they await the arrival of the newest members of the Walker clan. My only complaint was that it felt rushed. There was not much interaction with Kelly's family and given the estrangement of them in years past it would have been nice to read about them being there for Kelly's pregnancy. I also wasn't a fan of the ending being 6 years later. I would have liked to read about how the Walkers adjusted to raising the babies. That being said I really hope there is another book in this series because I can not get enough of the series.
Ioved the book as always great story and the ending not expecting that please let their be more books for this series. I love the characters. I recommend this series.
