The action packed conclusion to the Submerged Sun Trilogy...
While the citizens of Marin eagerly await the birth of Lauren’s child, Miranda and Marko must deal with the pain and heartache of banishment and being forced to live on land.
But when the bodies of young women begin to wash up on beaches all over the world, their legs mutilated in a telling way, Miranda and Marko become desperate to return to the glittering underwater city.
Because if Damir is back to his evil ways, then Miranda's sister, Lauren, is in grave danger.
Will Miranda and Marko return to the city in time to save Lauren?
Or is Lauren, and the entire city of Marin, doomed already...

What a beautiful conclusion! Finished this book within 3 hours of buying it and was worth every penny. Such an intense rollercoaster ride. So many twists and turns and kept me wanting an answer. Great read!
This is the third book in the series which was written from Mirandas, Robbies and Lauren POV. This didn't work for me and should have been written from just Mirandas POV with the other characters being novellas. The characters fell flat and so did the storyline. The finale well what can I say? It was rushed, it had huge gaps in the story and don't fill in gaps. We don't find out how Damir died or his men. What happened to Sylvia when she escaped the fallen city or her fellow escapees . It jumps three years on..... What!! What happened to Marko or even Miranda during that time. What really happened to the underwater city and how did Marko establish himself again. How did Marko know that Lauren was alive when he hadn't been in contact with the people that escaped. When he came back after the three years he asked how Lauren and the baby was? No one knew she was alive only the escapees. It was a very disappointing ending to what would have been a five star series. Such a huge let down and not worth the money paid. It's like the writer just wanted to finish it quickly. Brilliant first two books but if you are like me and like a good tied up ending don't bother with the series because this third book is a flop.
While I pushed through to the end it felt like this book was written in a rush and everything was just trying to tie up loose ends. It definitely needs to be edited a bit. I usually overlook minor mistakes that don't pull me out of the story but there was one place that ended with Marko said, but never told me what he said. It was very frustrating. I also wanted a little more from the ending. It feels like the author was in a hurry to move on from this series and just everything wrapped up.
After years of frustration and sadness that could not find book 3 anywhere, i was finally able to finish it! THANK YOU😭 The ending was great and kept me on edge! This series captivated me from the start and i couldn't stop thinking about it and how much i NEEDED to finish it!
i was unfortunately let down by this, i still had a good time reading it but it felt very rushed and i was honestly just wanting to finish it because i stopped caring :(( the ending just felt extremely rushed and i wish we had gotten more. i’m glad i got this series off my tbr though !!
Not as good as the rest of the series. Plots felt scattered. Also there was much more sexual content brought up Just weird and awkward and not necessary. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this book as much as the previous.
I love, love, love this series! I read this book in one sitting! Vanessa Garden's world of Marin sucks you in and leaves you wanting more! You won't regret delving into "The Submerged Sun" series!!! I raced through all 3 books in less than 3 days! I couldn't stop reading! Addictive and an absolute page turner!
OH WOW! This book was so awesome! I'll be honest, when I got to the end of the book I was thinking this can't be how it ends. But after a few more mins of reading I got my HEA. I'm excited to read more books by Vanessa Garden.
Omg please tell me there's more coming. This story can't be over yet. I loved this series. Well writen, lots of nail biting action. I love story like no other
This one was kind of 'meh' for me. It didn't have the single narrative structure of the previous two books, and I guess the plot was just too scattered.
This was my least favorite book of the series. All of the obstacles were so easily overcome that I wondered why they were included in the first place. All of the interesting action took place “off screen” so to speak. I hated the way the narrative switched from person to person, particularly with Lauren, it killed all of the suspense. Also, she just happens to be in the right place when they surface? Damir was set up to be a terrifying enemy, but we, as readers, never see any reason to be truly afraid of him. The books build up to the mermaid reveal and then spend no time exploring their odd mental states or the implications of the surgeries they’ve undergone. If they were going to have artificial tails then why have surgery at all? The plot points that were brought up and then dropped (like the extraterrestrials who founded Marin ?) were maddening.

These five stars are because I love the ending. It's a good happy one and I also loved that hug between the sisters at the end. We really need it. Sylvia should have been punished or have faced any consequence, so Ifelt a little disappointing for that. I was expecting some development and connection between Miranda and Robbie's situation. Both are orphans, both have a grandparent suffering from Alzheimer and called Pop, both are kidnapped and both have sisters. Those are details I couldn't ignore and I expected an explanation. En fin, tuvo un final muy aceptable y quiero quedarme con eso.

It was so amazing to discover how everything wrapped up in this amazing trilogy! Although I am slightly annoyed about the cover change as it doesn't match with the previous books on my shelves, and it took me a while to adapt once more to Vanessa's writing style, I enjoyed this book. It was exciting and the ending was satisfying. Although I believe this is the case, I would still like to know what happened to Sylvia and if Marko and Miranda have their own family one day. But very well done Vanessa Garden!
I loved this series. I was drawn in from the very first chapter. I finished this in three days. I hate to see it come to an end. I would love to see more stories from Miranda, Marko, Robbie, and Lily. I'm satisfied with the conclusion though. Just like with any great book you hate to see it end. I wish I found out about these books sooner. Lovely writing by Vanessa!
Thank the gods im finally released of this series. If I could award 0 stars I would. While the initial concept was intriguing, the characters, world building, and overall execution was so poor you couldn't help but laugh. Needless to say, I am not a fan.
This got a little chaotic toward the end, but was still okay. Same issues with the writing/editing, but it's sometimes hard to tell what's actually a typo and what's just the difference between Australian English and American English.
Almost everything was wrapped up quite nicely in this 3rd book of the series. I got frustrated with Miranda and her stubborn ways, but enjoyed the book nonetheless.
Too much for me to put into words. I became immersed in this story so deeply that I had a hard time concentrating at work! Excellent writing and story.
I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first 2 books in the series. The ending was very abrupt and didn’t match with the gradual progression of the rest of the plot throughout the series.
