Intellectual, analytical, and with high standards for themselves and others, INTJs face an uphill battle when it comes to finding a successful career. This book is written specifically for YOU, the logical, curious, persistent INTJ, and is designed to help you find a career that will use your unusual gifts and bring you satisfaction for many years to come.
What an eye opening insightful read! I am what I am and now I understand myself much better and am ready to take on the world! ..... as long as I don't have to attend an office party . ;)
Usually these personality type handbooks don't really go beyond the basic rundown you see on the quiz websites, but the first half of this pamphlet actually surprised me by going a bit deeper in depth with more actionable advice than I've come to expect from this sort of book, and while it is marketed as a career related handbook, I think it's actually one of the better general all-rounder resources on the topic I've seen. Ironically the actual career-related stuff, while worthwhile, wasn't quite as interesting to me, though it did help me realize that the niche I've carved for myself actually is about as good as it probably gets for my personality type which was reassuring. I'd still like to see a proper book-length exploration of the INTJ personality type sometime, I think the thing I appreciate most when reading about people who are similar (or even different) to me in some way are actual case studies with quotes about how people in a certain group or situation found things that worked, but that's not really the scope or intent of this book, it just happens that this book is the closest I've found to what I'd like out of such a book.
Even if everything in the book doesn't help or apply to you, I'm sure you will find at least one tip that helps you understand what you want to do next. For me, it pointed out a 70% job satisfaction idea (to sum it up) that helped me to better understand what type of career satisfaction I am looking for. With vision I was able to find not perfect solutions but solutions that should work well enough for an enjoyable career. Not to mention the book is very encouraging and practical. Thank you, author!
This book really surprised me very positively. I didn't expect to find much more information here than I managed to find on the Internet (especially because it was so cheap).
This book was what I was looking for—written concretely and clearly. If there were any questions during the reading, I found answers to them in the further part of the book.
