Dog Lover who likes her pastries full of cream and sugar...oh...and I write some ;-)

Aside from being an author, I am also a mom to a beautiful little girl. I tell everyone I named her after my great-grandmother (because that's the mature answer), but really, I named her after my favorite princess - just so happens I got lucky and they had the same name...If I wasn't a writer, I would work on a horse ranch - I'm an animal lover (in addition to dogs, horses are at the top of my list). I wear flip-flops pretty much everywhere I go. I would rather stay awake until 5 am than get up at 5 am (years of bar tending have left their mark), if I can, I'm going to the beach AND I will always be nice to people who bring me chocolate...or coffee...if you bring me both, I'll probably love you forever.

I write the way I live, following the story wherever it may lead, always ready to start the next one. This is clearly reflected in my body of work which to date includes everything from Children's Lit to Thrillers.
I happily reside in sunny Florida (for now) with my daughter and three dogs.

She had ten days off to face the death of her father, plan his funeral and clear up his estate. She had ten days of to figure out what to do with her niece, who her father was raising. She had ten days off to discover that the kid who used to stare at her chest has grown up, been to war and has become a place to lean on, an ear to listen and a man who clearly doesn’t care about their age difference.

Olivia is a tattoo artist, as well as a walking billboard for her craft. Lucas is a dream come true, everything a woman could want and there for the taking. It only took ten days for Olivia to change her life, her job and the future of herself and her niece. But finally, her life felt right.

To be honest the first thing that captured my attention was the cover and being a new author to me I figured for a novella I'll give it a click. I am THRILLED that I followed my gut because I am hooked on pINK and need more ASAP. Liv experiences a traumatic event in her life that shakes up her entire future in the best possible way. We're introduced to her bestie Sketch and her sweet niece Madi along with hello there Lucas. I was on the fence about Pru at first but she seems to be growing on me. I know I've basically listed the characters in the story and not much more but you need to one click this book and see what I'm talking about. I need Nine now and find out what happens next.

This is a great short story to introduce the characters of the pINK Series. The author did not waste her words with this story, every one of them counted. The author did a great job of conveying the emotions of Olivia over the loss of her father. I really felt for her character and had to go get the tissues. This is the first book by this author I have read and it won't be my last. I'm really looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

Has you wanting more!!

I really enjoyed this prequel. The author did a great job setting up and grabbing your attention with the characters of Liv, Lucus, Sketch, and Madi. For it being such a short read we have a lot of things going on that set up the story for the next book. I now can't wait to read the next book and read all about Liv and Lucus story!!

Wow. This was a fantastic Prequel. I just don't know what to say. It was heartbreaking, uplifting, and set a solid foundation for the first Book. I can't wait to read Nine. (sadly I have to because it's 2:30am. lol). First time reading this author and I'm highly impressed.

Olivia Badilla (aka Heartbreaker) is 29 years old and covered in tattoos. When her father, Mateo dies she has 10 days to decide what to do with not only her life but her niece Madi. Madi is 12 and was being raised by her father.

What Olivia doesn't expect is for Lucas McNealy to walk in and help her through the tough times.

I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what is in store for the ladies of PINK. I am loving Heartbreaker and Sketch (Stella) and very curious about Riot. I am definitely looking forward to learning more about the mystery behind her.

I truly think this series is going to be awesome and I completely love the idea of PINK! It is such a cool idea and can't wait for the next one!

A great way to introduce Olivia and Lucas to readers, along with the rest of the Pink crew.

I've read a few prequels I didn't like because they seemed to go too fast and didn't give a chance for readers to connect with the characters. But I was able to connect with these characters and even had to go buy the next book because I couldn't wait to read more!

Although I have yet to read Nine (the next book) I'm sure I would've felt a bit lost about the history between Lucas and Olivia had I just dove straight into Nine.

This is a great read. If you don't have much time on your hands, want to read something while you are waiting or just love to read like I do then this is perfect. I didn't find a single thing that I didn't enjoy. I thought it was great the way she made the right decision for herself and her niece. I enjoyed the possible love interest, would love to know what will happened there.

This is my first book by this author and the first I've read in this series and I loved it! It was so emotional and all consuming. This is the story of how pINK was created. Olivia and Sketch run a tattoo shop and this is how it all started. I cried and laughed and now I need the next book in the series! This is definitely a new favorite. K.S Thomas knows how to keep the reader engaged. There was no filler, it was all necessary information toward the series.

pINK is my new favorite color!

pINK is the first book by K.S. Thomas I have read and I found it very enjoyable. Liv, Lucas, Sketch and Madi are great charcter's. This story is one of starting over again and dealing with life, love and loss.
