This is my first book by this author and I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.
Well If think the book started off great, however it went down hill for me because instead of Raven speaking to Leon about their relationship issues she gets involved with Caine. Then the story becomes a triangle and we all know that Raven loves Leon and not Caine.
This is the kind of romance I don't enjoy. I just finished the book because I wanted to see how it ended. Instead of working through your relationship issues calling your mate out on their BS you make an assumption and ruin all their lives. Relationships are about getting to know each other and understanding each other, how are going to do that when you never communicate with each other.
There were some typographical errors but this would never put me off from reading a book.
Omg the glaring horrible grammar errors. It totally ruined what would have been a great story. The most irritating was the names. Caine's father, was his name Jacob or Jason???? The beginning he was Jacob. Then he was referred to as Jason. Which was it?????? Then was her name Rachel or Raven??? There was no excuse for this. None! 😡 Now, to story itself. I couldn't stand Raven or Leon. I didn't like either one. She was all about herself. Leon was an ass. He was not likeable at all. The one I liked and cheered for was Caine. He was real. I hated what happened to him. She should have chosen him. He deserved a happy ending. Using him to make Leon jealous was selfish and immature. This was one couple I didn't want to see get together. Very disappointing.
It was a great story line but a disappointing end. Very abrupt! I i knew this I wouldn't have wasted my time reading it!
Nice sorry but terrible ending. It was a great story line but a disappointing end. Very abrupt! I i knew this I wouldn't have wasted my time reading it!
This story started off well and from the summary it had a kit if potential. However Raven ended up being a horrible person. She went from one guy to the next. Her plan with Leon was stupid and he ending up looking pathetic pining after her with her unaware. The story was predictable with the pregnancy. It was so convenient that Caine was lost at sea so Raven didn't end up looking like the manipulator that she was. Then she keeps the pregnancy from Leon, he shows up and everything is magically OK. Puhlease
I really disliked this book the heroine had serious self esteem issues. I feel like both men deserved better than her and her issues. I had to force myself to finish this book.
I really wanted to like this book. And it started out great. Then our heroine began to deteriorate into an obsessed teenager who waffled between two boys. Don't even get me started on the poorly written ending. I'm still not sure where all the unesesary drama came from.
This was a very good book, however I missed something. I get the Caine didn't make it but how is it that after two years Leon just shows up? He was in love he would have followed her if that was the case. Maybe it's just me looking for more in this story.
