This series gets you right in the heart.
Loss is not what one would say is easy to deal with. For Mandy, three times over, this is not what she ever thought of going through. She had it all, her small family and happiness. One day, her life is ripped to shreds and can only find a better future moving away. She goes clear across the country to L.A. and finds herself among a few friends.
Joshua Rodgers isn't bad on the eyes and awakens feelings Mandy, perhaps, thought it would be in the far distance to feel anything for a man ever again. Their friendship is one of charm and sexiness. Josh tries to be a gentleman in every way, that is until his secret is revealed. Will Mandy have the heart and courage to forgive him.
Sandra is a great best friend for Mandy, she's spunky and all player. She meets Collin and they don't see eye to eye at first. Nothing will keep him from making her see the real him. They get somewhat serious but Collin has a secret of his own. Military life is what he's made a career out of and when Sandra finds out, her world will be crushed She's met more than her fair share of men, playing the dating scene or more like the one night stand scene. Sandra is falling hard for Collin but can the two make it work? Sandra is horrifically taken and Collin is the only one that can save her but at what cost to either of them.
I fell in love with this series and hope many readers can identify with the real romanticism between the pages.

Book one was good.
Book two took a whole different turn and really needed a warning. There is graphic rape scenes. And it's for almost half the book.
Book three I couldn't even read.
