The characters are awesome. Keegan and Ryane you will fall in love them from the moment you start reading it. Sig, what can I say about him. If you don't fall for him then your miss out. If you haven't read this book then you needed too.

A fantasy tale with strong, complex characters; each flawed yet striving to survive. Strong plot line with subtle subplots interwoven throughout. Explicit sexual situations with some triggers (BDSM, taboo sex, violence). Not for the faint of heart.

This was a pretty good book. It has vampires, dragons, shifters and all other paranormal creatures and they live out in the open with humans. But can a vampire and a hunter be more then enemies?

The world is different. Paranormal creatures are working toward becoming apart of the human world, working along side them, going to school with them, and living a normal life. At Grigori university they are trying to establish a safe place to have humans and other kind mix. With rules of course. Rayne is caught in something that is bigger than her. She is just barely learning about the other kind. And when she starts dating the prince of vampires all bets are off. Everyone is trying to keep her and Keegan apart because it isn't natural. But nobody can deny they are perfect. Even his dark and dominant tendencies can't stop them.

The story is different then what I would have expected. I wasn't sure what to expect but this wasn't it. I haven't come across a vampire Dom before so it was an interesting take on a paranormal story. At first I was slightly confused with how everything worked but about 20% in it all made sense. I felt like maybe there could have been a little more explanation on some things but it was a new take on vampire and shifter story.

Definitely not just another paranormal romance! The characters and story are so well written, you just have to know what happens next. I loved watching Keegan is such and alpha male and along comes Rayne to turn his world upside down. Then you have Sig, who's an awesome character in his own right, plus all the goings on at Grigori! Just when you think you have it all figured out, you really don't! Waiting ever so impatiently for book 2!

OMG.......Hot. I just learned about S I HAYES during an author party and boy am I glad I did. This is the first book, but it won't be the last.
Rayne is a sweet college sorority girl, he is the bad boy Prince. When they meet, world's collide and nothing is ever going to be the same again.
This book is not for the faint of heart. It involves a bit of blood, a bit of violence and a lot of hot Steamy sex, both Vanilla and extra spicy,
Cannot wait to read more of her fantastic stories.

I loved this book! Even though it contains some BDSM, don't let that stop you from picking it up because it was beautifully written. I loved Ryane and Keegan's relationship and seeing it progress through the story. I can't wait to see what happens next to Ryane, Keegan and his bodyguard Sig.

Vampire Prince Keegan Teague hit side ways by love. This is not a typical paranomal romance, this is one that take you to extreme feeling and emotion. It reminds you about your first love and how it felt and seemed. Ryane Ravencrest is not your typical human she is bold and strong and thank goodness these two have to go thru hell and back.

I love a good fantasy paranormal novel, an integrated one even more. I get extremely exited to see how the author will play on the differences of the humans and other worldly beings. In the beginning the author started with intense staring and a little scuffle, okay I’m here for the drama. Keegan is a little straightforward. I mean I liked that about him but sheesh he was in a relationship with Ryane before he actually talked to her. The one thing I really enjoyed that the author did was jump straight to it. You didn’t have to wait for the characters to meet several accidental times before they actually got together or the drama starts. The ending was a little none climatic but the author left something to be desired from the plot and all that juicy drama. I rarely walk away from books with favorite characters but Ryane and Sig I adore... oh and Keegan too. Im going to shamefully admit that I wanted Sig and Ryane to end up together as well. I was hoping that’s still a possibility (hint hint) she should be able to have he and Keegan, I’m just saying. Part two will be epic I believe it and I’m looking forward to it. Bravo to the author you did an excellent job!

"Fated Binds" by S. I. Hayes

My Speculation:

'Fated Binds' was quite one interesting read of a fantasy/paranormal tale with some really complex characters, with a storyline/subpoints being woven throughout the story. The two main characters Vampire Prince Keegan the alpha male, and Rayne Ravencrest [the human], a sweet college sorority girl who comes along and turns his world around. Oh, and let's not leave out the bodyguard, Sig. Definitely, these characters will go through hell and back before it's all said and done.

It was quite interesting seeing how this author gives us a read of 'creatures working toward becoming a part of the human world, who work along beside them, going to school with them and living a normal life until havoc comes and turns it all around for them.'

Just so you know, this is not a read for the faint of heart due that it involves lots of blood, violence, and lots of hot sex, BDSM added, which is both vanilla with its extra spice sauce added in.

This is a very captivating read that will keep you turning the pages to see what will be coming next till the end.

This was a confusing book, but in a positive way. I started reading and at first thought it would be just a paranormal story. Then it reads on as a budding romance novel between an ordinary human, Ryane, and a vampire, Keegan, who is in BDSM. The scenes between him and his Gardian are hot and loving but leave Ryane with questions about his feelings for her. But Keegan falls deeply for her and that causes jealousy in Charles, the Gardian, which ends in a brawl in which Charles loses his job. And as Ryane and Keegan deepen their relationship, Charles searches for ways to get revenge and the story turns into a crime story with a kidnapping and a mystery. Keegan is rescued but nearly loses his life and can't remember everything. There is hatred and envy in the paranormal world and the struggle for power. The book leaves you with questions and you expect a sequel. Enough ingredients to follow. Who in college is involved in the kidnapping? Who and why in the paranormal world did this to Keegan? Will Sig get his HEA?

This book was definitely what I needed.. A female character (Ryane) we all can grow to love because she is very relatable in some ways. You can not help but love her as well..
And Keegan the vampire prince, what is not to love..? Tall handsome.. Blonde.. Strong.. Sexy.. And did we mention already a prince??
And no this is not another twilight book..
This is much of a deeper connection lots of sex (if you are not into a lot of sex scenes and detailed bdsm, than this book will be a little much for your liking than)
Thank you for taking us on a wonderful journey as this book leaves us to keep reading and falling in love with the characters.

Great story of Otherkind (supernatural and paranormal) beings living among humans. Keegan Teague, a Vampire Prince, attending the college of Grigori, meets Ryane Ravencrest in class. Both seem to be immediately smitten, however, danger and jealously ensue. Charles, Keegan's protector, occasional lover and submissive, takes a dislike to Ryane when he sees the way their relationship is blossoming. Charles along with others plot to take Keegan down. Ryane, along with the Keegan's most loyal protectors, must rush to save his life. 5 out of 5 for spiciness. Looking forward to the next installment.

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also, this is my first time with this author.

This story was so amazing, I couldn't put it down. I laughed a lot, I cried a lot too. There was so much going on. Lots of hot sex, too. There was lovers scorned, love so powerful it saved someone, friendships made and broken. This had it all. I hope that there will be a book 2 as I'd like to see how things finished. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

I really loved this book and connot wait to read the next one. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and how love could change alliances, some for the better and others for the worse. *Spoiler*
If you do not like some man on man, dont read. There is a beautiful but fataly twisted one sided love story between two men in this book. This book is raw and filled with emotion that will both break and mend your heart.

What an amazing read

I am a huge fan of pnr and this definitely did not disappoint, I was totally engrossed in the storyline and really didn’t want to put the book down.

The whole book from start to finish was full of twists and turns and when you think you know what’s going to happen next - something else does.

I loved all the characters they were really well written and a lot of fun.

I cannot wait to see what happens next! If you love paranormal books then go and read it now!

An erotic paranormal romance with m/m, m/f/m, and bdsm play, definitely for the adult 18+ reader. The storyline is passionate, dramatic, and violent, involving a kidnapping, torture and some kickass fighting! I liked what I read but the ending leaves questions needing answers. Fantastic paranormal read, plenty of action, erotic sexy scenes, secrets, betrayal, loss, love, twists and a somewhat happy ending but you just know there is going to that will pop up. Well written and greatly developed diverse characters with good interactions and witty banter giving more depth to the chemistry, looking forward to what the rest of the series brings.

I did really enjoy this book. It was a fun read and actually had a plot not just the romance as the whole story. My only complaint is that as you get further into the book more characters had their own chapters which got a little confusing because at the start it was the perspective of just two of the characters. Overall I would recommend this book!

Yes some dream about it. Some just read about and others get very deep it to these bonds that they may never find there ways out.
This story is the latter you may never find you way out or you get roped in just like Ryane. You get so sucked in you just keep reading what will happen next who doing what why and there's lots of blood.

loved it !!! a good start for a new series... love Keegan and Ryane.. this is their story.. a fast paced action packed drama... Prince Keegan meets Ryane.. and it's love at first sight... his protector Charles is not happy... he will do all he can to take them down... betrayal... and jealous.. a scorned lover.. twists on twists...can their love survive ?.
