Sniper Tom Brody enjoys his life in the Special Ops. He also enjoys his best friend, Antonella, maybe a little too much. Brody and Antonella have an agreement: friends to never cross that line.

Toni has hidden her feelings from Brody for as long as she can remember. Both want to cross the line, so much so, they act on it just before his next deployment.

When life appears to pick back up upon his return home, tragedy strikes. When an idle threat becomes a reality, Brody will encounter a fight he never thought he would have to face; search and rescue for the woman he loves.

Beautiful Story

Isn't that how it always goes, you live that one person who has been in your life forever, but you can't seem to find it in your heart to tell them because you're nervous about their reaction. Only to discover that they are feeling the same way.

That is just what is happening in this story. Then you add in some guns and a psycho guy out to convince the girl that she belongs with him, then you have a great story.

This is a total page Turner and before you know it time will get away from you because you can't put the book down. Throw in some sex and just not any sex..we are talking got sex and you are like, can you try that on me.

You will fall in love with this story and all of its emotions, I promise you.

Until Next Time.... Tabi

This may be a pretty short review because I honestly don’t have much to say. I didn’t like this book. The description intrigued me, but it just didn’t work for me.

I’m fine with swearing in books. Even excessive swearing. But this somehow reached the point multiple times where the swearing seemed so random that it took away from the story. I did not expect that. I didn’t like that.

The pacing was odd to me. Some scenes seemed really rushed, and others dragged. The description mentions a tragedy, and I was quite interested in that, yet somehow that was over faster than one single BDSM scene.

2 stars because the Criminal Minds fan in me likes when men call women ‘baby girl’

I really liked this story, but there were a lot of inaccuracies. Inaccuracies when it came to weapon descriptions, a few typos, some missing words.

Wow, these Opps books are just so good, Tom Brody is so cool & so damn hot, think we all need one in our lives. Antonella is beautiful. Should you cross that line of BFF to become lovers? What if it fails? but what if it's the best thing ever? This is their choice, Brody & Toni's. All this with a twist & you get a really good hot read. Fabulous!

Hot As Hell

This is the 2nd book in the Special Ops Series by Julie Morgan and can be read alone as it takes place a year after Delta Force.

Tom (Tommy) Brody is a Sniper for Delta Force. He is best friends with the Heroine Toni and neither want to cross the over from the friend zone even though they love each other. WhenBrody is called up for a deployment him and Toni decide that they want to be more than best friends.

While Brody is deployed Toni is dealing with a stalker coworker name Jimmy who doesn't know how to take no for an answer. When he assaults her at work Toni decides that she needs to protect herself.

When Brody gets home him and Toni start their relationship as a couple. When Toni's coworker is accused of murder and goes missing. Toni is fearful and Brody protective.

I found Sniper to be a wonderful story that flowed really well and the banter and relationship between Brody and Toni honest, realistic, and steamy. (Does contain BDSM)

Julie Morgan does a wonderful job at keeping the military aspects of her story realistic which is always a plus for me in military romances. She also touches on PTSD from both a Military and Survivor standpoint in a way that is supportive of the story yet sheds light on realistic problems.

The sex scenes are well written and steamy which leave you needing a cold shower. (That Wand Scene OMFG>>>>AWESOME).

Overall great story which I would recommend to any and all who love Military and BDSM stories.

Sniper ..wow..great story.

Sniper by Julie Morgan will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This book is part of her Special Op series. This book is about a special op trained sniper and the woman he comes to love. They start out as friends and before his deployment decide to take their relationship to the next level.

Julie Morgan takes this story in many directions deployment, fear, stalkers , PTSD, mental trauma and BDSM. She is able to keep the story light and entertaining even with the heavy subjects. Her characters are strong but flawed in all the right ways. The villain of the piece is an all American boy gone bad. You will love the story and her characters and you will be pulling for the HEA ending that is her trademark. These books are standalones but with characters you know them the other stories. I know when I read a Julie Morgan book I get a story I love with characters I care about. If you like strong men and independent woman who are willing to show every facet of themselves you will enjoy this book.

Tom Brody, a sniper for the Special Ops, has been in love with his best friend Toni since he met her, but they both agreed never to cross that line. Brody makes no effort to hide his feelings, but Toni doesn’t want to mess up the friendship they have.

Antonella “Toni” Mendez is in love with her “Tommy,” too, but she’s always been convinced he doesn’t really see her that way. When they finally decide to stop fighting their feelings and give it a go, Brody is being deployed.

When he returns, everything is perfect. Too perfect. Will it last? Or will she be taken away from Brody just when he finally got her? Brody takes his job seriously, and he will stop at nothing to protect his woman.

Sniper is the second book in the Special Ops Series from Julie Morgan and it is fantastic! I loved learning more about characters that were introduced before and seeing where some of the past characters are now. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Sniper is the story of Tom Brody, an amazing Sniper in the army that is part of Special Ops Units and the woman he loves, Toni Mendez. Tom & Toni are the best of friends who both feel more than just friendship but neither wants to ruin that by pursuing something more. When Brody is being shipped out for another tour they need to decide if they want to keep things as they are or take that next step into a relationship. I love how this isn't just about romance and that there is another plot that takes place in the story. Add in Jimmy Nelson, ex high school star quarterback with stalking tendencies and it gives this story so much more depth. It brings in fellow Special Ops characters from Julie Morgan's first book and shows us what a true brotherhood is about and what they would do for each other in times of need. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more with other characters that have been introduced to us already.

First off, I loved Brody's story! Brody and Toni have been best friends and neither have wanted to cross the line to be more than just friends. But when Brody is called for duty and has to leave both realize they want to take the next step. Toni waits for Brody to come back and all is great for them. But Toni is dealing with a coworker Jeremy who is trying to force himself on her and has become somewhat of a stalker. After he's accused of murder, will Toni and Brody be able to escape the psycho that Jeremy has become? Or will Toni be gone from Brody forever? Can't wait to read the next book in this series!
