My daughter has read, and loved, all of the “Daisy and the Trouble with….” books and this is no exception. It is the Easter holidays and Daisy has been chosen to look after Pickle and Pops, the class hamsters. Even better, Daisy and her mum have two free tickets to Chocolate Land. With so many exciting things ahead of her, what can go wrong? Well, knowing Daisy, quite a lot. It isn’t that she means to create disaster and mayhem while organising the Easter Egg hunt for her neighbour and how did she know that hamsters were not allowed to go to Chocolate Land…

These stories are not only great fun for children, but parents, reading aloud, will sympathise with Daisy’s mum, as events unfold. We love reading these books together and my daughter loves all the characters – including best friend Gabby and naughty Jack Beechwhistle. A great series, which do not need to be read in order, but are all stand alone stories.

Oh my, this book is fantastic

This is most definitely my new favourite Daisy book and incredibly funny...and also talks a bit about the spirit of Easter. I love Daisy and her best friend Gabby and the visit to Chocolate Land brought back plenty of memories of taking my own sons to Cadbury World where my youngest managed to put the chocolate stirring spoon in his mouth and force them to stop production while they cleaned it!. The Daisy books are perfect for ages 6 to 9 to 99 and I defy anyone to read them without laughing.

It was confusing 😕 🤔 when Daisy And her mum went to chocolate 🍫 land and then went straight back. I liked it when Daisy asked if the easter bunny had a sleigh 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and it was funny when she asked if Father Christmas or the easter bunny were in the bible and Daisy ask if Jesus was a lamb 😂😆🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🤑🤑🤑😝🫨

I gave 5 rating because it was silly. There were too hamsters called Pickle and Pops. Pops was always hungrier than Pickle. Daisy had free tickets to Chocolate land. It didnt go right. It made me laugh a lot.🤪
