Ryker's Cabin

Rate this book
Even though Emily has the world at her fingertips, she feels restless; something is missing from her life and she can't figure out what it is.

Her life is carefree and fun, for now. She has a handsome boyfriend, heir to a billion dollar fortune; but her waitressing job is demeaning and she doesn't know what she wants to study at college. She's scared and uncertain about what her future holds. She knows deep down that Joel's parents will never approve of an interracial marriage, even though on the surface they smile and welcome the black girl into their mansion.

With Joel growing distant, a camping trip away for the weekend seems like just what they need to reconnect. Maybe it will even give Joel the foundation to stand up to his parents and defend their relationship.

However, tragedy strikes out in the wilderness and a horrible accident separates Emily away from Joel and straight into the life of burly and handsome mountain man, Ryker.

Emily is shocked by the way Ryker treats her and labels him an absolute as&hole. He does his best to get this black city girl out of his cabin and out of his life forever.

But getting this city girl out of his home, and heart, proves more difficult than anything he's ever had to do in his life!

**This is a stand-alone story with a bonus alpha male series and book included!**

Story Pile up

I really enjoyed this compilation of stories but Ryker's Cabin was my fave with the apocalypse stories coming a close second. Well written with minimal mistakes. Nice job.
