The only tie-in to the Fifties TV series, "The Buccaneers" is definitely meant for children. It is, however, well-written and includes snippets of facts about the period. Captain Dan Tempest hunts Blackbeard on land and sea, with the aid of his crew, a cabin boy named Dick - and a black cat...
