One of my most favorite series ever! Love all the characters and the writing of the author. I feel like I know these people. I'm really hoping for a 4th book!!!!!
I would recommend you take time to read where you can be alone and it's quiet. Let the book take you to the different locations, through your imagination, and feel the needs and wants of the characters. The books are full of emotions, love, excitement, and wonderfully written. They will keep you wanting more.
I just finished the final installment of the Fall to Grace series entitled, Slender Wish. Once again, we were reunited with old friends from Baudette, MN. You must read the first two books in the series to truly appreciate this novel. It's final message is uplifting and well worth the read, tears and all!
Fall to Grace is one of my all time favorite books. I am so pleased to be able to be with these characters again. And I'm so glad for this book to have been released.
I enjoyed the book, and the main characters, but a couple of the newly introduced characters felt forced and over the top. Almost like Kerry Casey didn't trust the readers would understand who the "bad guys" were, so he made them REALLY bad.
Parts of the story felt forced as well. I'm glad to have read it, and happy to reconnect with the series. It just wasn't as good it could have been.
The third book about the people in a northern Minnesota town. I reread the first one (Fall to Grace) before starting Slender Wish and I think I enjoyed it even more than the first time. Casey brings his characters to life and I feel as though they are my friends. Rejoiced with them in good times and commiserated in the not so good. Not sure what I thought of the villian ... sympathy at times and almost thought he had a few redeeming qualities. All I can say is keep writing Mr. Casey.
I had put off reading book 3 as the first 2 were so good but so heartbreaking. Book 3 wrapped up the story so well. I am so glad I took the time to finish the story.
