The murders are starting to stack up on Delta Steven's beat, and they aren’t your run-of-the-mill, crimes-of-passion type deal, either. Someone is clearly trying to send Delta and her crew some kind of message, but what is going on? And, more importantly, who’s behind it?
When Delta’s longtime friend and confidant, Connie, notices the crimes are patterned after her latest video game, Delta must step back and allow for player two to help take on the mysterious madman behind it.
Will Connie's genius combined with Delta's street-smarts be enough to uncover the serial killer’s plot before he can strike again? Or will it be game over for Delta Stevens, once and for all?

The Con is on me, the reader!! About halfway through this book the story seemed very familiar..now I know why. This entire series is the same as the Delta Storm Series written by Linda Kay Silva back in the 1990's. Linda..now aka Alex has just re-titled this entire series and 're' released it with a 'new' publishing date and her different name.
I really enjoyed the original series when I read it years ago, and if you haven't read it, it is a very good read. I'm just very disappointed that I bought the first 3 titles of this one.
I wish that Linda/Alex as well as the publisher would have put a disclaimer on this series and been upfront. This author has forever lost a reader.
Whew, what a story! I was on the edge, reading as fast as I could to get to that ending! This is a great series, with really enjoyable characters. There were a few more editing issues in this book than the first, even at one point saying Gene instead of Gina. Like in the first book I was able to ignore the mistakes, but the wrong name completely stopped me and made me reread a couple pages to see if I had overlooked something.
I liked the concept... Greek Mythology is a favourite of mine. This book took a lot longer for me to finish and it's bothering me considering how quickly I plowed through the Riders of the Apocalypse series. Anyway, time for book three.

This book is action packed, fast-paced and will have you hooked from the very beginning. Although it is the second in the series it could also be a stand alone book. If your looking for a cast of kick ass female characters and a well thought out plot you should definitely check this book out.
