Lost in Rewind

Rate this book
Inside every story lies more than one truth.

“Come, boy, I will give you a reading…show me your hands.”

Jeffery Rossi wants to be a man of logic but finds himself basing his life’s decisions on a prophecy delivered at the hands of an old gypsy fortuneteller. The death of his beloved wife coupled with the loss of what he thought would be his carefully crafted future, have spun him onto a path of self-destruction.

“Three children will come from you—a king and two queens.”

Jeff believed he knew how his future would unravel, but he’s about to get a lesson in how the Universe works. Fate should not be left to the interpretation of mere mortals. Interfere and suffer, surrender… and let the fates help you find your destiny.

“No matter what you do, no matter how far away you run, what’s written in the stars cannot be undone.”

*Arc kindly provided by author in exchange for my honest review*

5 fantastic stars****

I read this in one day. Nothing new here :)
Ok, let me just mention how happy I was when I received my ARC the other day. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this book for ages. That cliffy from last book was killing me!
Oh Tali, Tali, Tali... this was a perfect ending to an amazing series! And let me tell you, this one is different from other two books in the Audio Fools series. I didn't prepare myself for this ending! I had a whole different story in my head.
I'm kind of sad it's over though.
This was easily one of the most interesting, musically charged romance series I ever read. Every chapter has it's own song... because, why not? What better way is there to express feelings than through music?

From the moment I picked up my copy of Love in Rewind two years ago, I knew I will love Tali's writing and her storytelling. I was lost in the story from the beginning. So, once again, Tali Alexander, I applaud you! I enjoyed this.. so, so much!

This book continues off from where Lies in Rewind left off. We finally get to know Jeffery and his background better. I didn't like him very much in Lies in Rewind. I couldn't relate to his problems, and basically I wasn't sure how I felt about him. Here, we get all the answers to our questions and the pieces of a puzzle seem to fall into place. That prologue messed up with my head big time!
Will Jeffery finally find his happily ever after with Sara? What about Sara and Liam? I am not telling! I am trying not to revel anything, so cope with me.

This book left me thinking about people who lead double lives. Why do they do it? Can they maintain secret lives for a long time? What will you find if you scratch beneath the surface? Because ultimately there is no way in which a lie could prevail over the truth.
You will ask yourself loads of questions after reading this. It will give you the feels. Emotional roller coaster at its best.
Ultimately, we can't control our hearts desires. We can't control who we love.

You can read this book as a standalone, but to fully enjoy it and get a feel for all the background characters, I really recommend reading them in order. You just have to meet the whole gang - Louis, Emily, Liam, Sara, Jeff and Kali... and trust me... you won't be sorry.

Tali Alexander, has once again spoken directly to my heart. If you've read the first two books you no exactly what I mean. Tali, is such a exceptional story teller, this series is so addicting in a beautiful bare your soul kinda way.

When I opened the pages to this book I honestly thought ok, this is is the last book in the series I'm pretty sure I know how it's gonna go.

Ha! No....by chapter 4 I thought wait, what! Jeffrey was not my fave in the series, and if you've kept up you no exactly what I'm talking about.
Boy did he redeem himself it was beautiful to see him as a real human and not what I had been imagining for 2 books. The story telling in this story is fantastic it takes you on a journey that makes you feel Talis words all the way to your toes. I loved seeing all the other characters and how they've evolved, grown, and learned from past mistakes.

There's no way to say all the things I want to say because it will ruin it. Trust me. Go in blind it's the best way.

I will continue to read anything Tali Alexander write's, she's unlike any author I've read before, she writes love stories that make you want to crawl into the pages and become friends with.

Thank you for ending this series in a way that will make us all beg you for more.

I receive and an ARC for my honest review.

this was the perfect ending to a perfect love story.
My love story with the Audio fools trilogy began in valentine day of 2015 .when I won a copy of "Love in Rewind". from the first page of the book I was hooked, until today it`s one of my favorite books. After reading Emily and Louis story I moved to "Lies in rewind" where we find out the story of Sara and Liam- and yet again I was lost in their world .

I have been waiting for the book "Lost in rewind" more then year! I had to know what the fate had install for Jeff and his love life. I remember after finishing reading Sara story I was so mad at Tali for not giving me my happy ever after - and she told me just to wait .

So here we are. I`m not sure how I feel about me finishing the book. I didn't expect to love Jeff, I didn't want to feel sorry for his pain. In Sara story I didn't care for him but now... now I love him.

the story line take place right after "lies in rewind" when the world of Jeff is broken. he always had two life, two loves and he thought that he would know how is life will end up. apparently you cannot run from your fate.

“No matter what you do, no matter how far away you run, what’s written in the stars cannot be undone.”

I really don`t want to tell you more about the story- you should read it. let me just say this . you can`t control who your heart loves . There are so many kind of loves .
the ending of story was all I could imagine and more.

I can`t believe that this is the end... i`m happy and sad at the same time
I can not wait to find out what would be tali next project.

Louis, Liam, Jeff- I love them all . They will be forever in mind. by the way !!! Louis is mine so nobody can claim/touch / love/want him but me ...

until next time my love♥

Tali, Tali, Tali..... I have so many emotions as to how this book made me feel. Please remember I am not an author, I don't always know exactly how to write what I feel. I don't possess that gift. Only God has has given it to a select few. And, you my friend, have it in spades.

I feel like I have waited forever to get my hands on this book, a year exactly. You and your beautiful spirit gave me Lie In Rewind @ Love N Vegas 2015. Meeting you was one of the many highlights. I didn't think it was possible to feel more for fictional characters after that book, but, you went against everything I thought. With this book, you have destroyed me, made me cry and hurt so bad, and then you made me whole once again.

The beginning confused & upset me, I didn't want it to be what I thought it was, and was in a funk over what I read, and re-read, and re-read again, but persevered and read through what was my made up heartache (?).

The connection between Jeff and his wife was so beautiful, and how they became friends who became lovers, then husband and wife. My heart broke over and over again with Jeffs telling. Then somewhere along the way, I saw the predicament he was in, loving two women, believing one was his future, and, his present would end. And, knowing that his beloved wife, knew of his feelings, and, never ever showed her knowledge of this, well that is a brave woman. With the learning of his story, helped make sense of Sara's story. And, her heartache was share heartache between her & Jeffery.

The love and connection you described when Jeff met his future, is so realistic, you made it feel like you were describing a life event. And, if you are a believer in those types of connections, well, they are just ...................

Tali, as much as I loved the previous two books, I think you went over and above anything I could have ever imagined as an ending. I never wanted this book to end. I want to go back and reread it again. You my friend, have knocked it out of the ball park!!!

Congrats, I love ya!!!!!

I hated Jeff! Like I seriously hated him. Then I thought "you know what, Jeff is actually an okay guy" ! Then I was like "come to me Jeff and please be mine" !!!

I don't know when I changed my mind about him but I did and it was fast. Everything was so different in this book! For me it had more of a uplifting vibe even though really sad stuff happened and I was like nooooooo please don't do this to me Tali for most of the beginning. I don't know why but I just knew somehow everything was going to be okay.

I loved sarah she was great. Jeff was great for her simple as. Jeff and Sarah were completely different to Jeff and Sara. I know its confusing but when you read it, you will get it.
Their phone calls were so sweet and genuine. He had more of an emotional connection to Sarah I could really see that. Sarah was alway made feel like she was his perfect one and not second best. I was worried about that a lot because I didn't want to feel like this was the Jeff and Sara show again.

Their first night together was so sexy and magical. I really felt like they were totally meant to be like it was fate or something. Everything happened in the order it should have. Jeff was meant to make all his mistakes and go through all the hard stuff so that he could appreciate her when the perfect person finally came along.

 photo 420B0748-5CCB-4072-AC33-5DA8F53B8DD7_zpszgs72uzv.gif

After the first night Jeff and Sarah meet they don't see each other for awhile. Most of the their conversations are over the phone. Jeff tells her about the other Sara and about their long affair. Jeff was definitely a redeemable character, he tried to make the best of a really shitty situation and then the situation got even more shitty.
The way Jeff explained everything made me understand why he did what he did for so long. It also made me realise that not everything is straightforward and that there is always going to be twist and turns to make life difficult.

This can be read as a stand alone but I strongly recommend that the three books are read together in order. Every book gives you information on the next couple so you dont get confused.

Love in Rewind (Audio Fools, #1) by Tali Alexander Lies in Rewind (Audio Fools, #2) by Tali Alexander Lost in Rewind (Audio Fools, #3) by Tali Alexander

Love in rewind will always be my favourite! Louis and Emily are so perfect for eachother, but Jeff and sarah are a close second!!

Last year I’ve read Love in Rewind, the first book by Tali Alexander. I loved the book, so of course I read the next book in the series. The second book told the story of Sara and Liam, but it also told about the complicated relation Sara had with her former lover Jeffery. Lost in Rewind gives us his story and explains the difficult affair.
“My wife left me the key inside her letter and commanded me to be the man she married and go after and fight for what is rightfully mine. I was supposed to bring my family back together and set my life to music. But I lost them both and now all I hear is silence.”

Jeffery is a troubled man; he has lost his wife and the love of his life is finally happy with another man. For years he has been torn between duty and love, and with every crashing down now he is just lost. Trying to make sense of it all, to find the strength to go on, Jeffery needs answers to his questions. And for this questions, Jeffery needs to go back where it all started; a pub he visited while he was in university. He doesn’t find what he’s looking for, but he does find a young woman who seems strangely familiar, a woman he can’t stay away from.
“She looks up to give me a small smile, and I pull her close again, resting my chin on her head. Embracing her feels as natural as breathing, and yet we know nothing about each other.”

Kali is a lonely woman living in Providence. Five years ago she moved to the United States to spend time with her grandmother, but since her death all she has is her work and her employees. She isn’t sure what to do with her life at the moment; staying in the States or to back to France, where her father lives. When Kali meets the older Jeffery she doesn’t know what to make of him; he seems to know more about her grandmother and she feels strangely attracted to the unknown man.
“I’m suddenly hyperaware of everything: the ticking sound of the clock, the hum of the ceiling fan, even the air has a taste. The peculiar color of this man’s eyes makes me feel like I’ve been here before. I’ve lived in this point already. Déjà vu.”

While both Jeffery as Kali aren’t looking for a relationship, they both can’t deny the attraction between them. After a confusing and explosive first meeting Jeffery and Kali keep spending time together, but both keep secrets for each other, or decide not to tell the whole truth. Especially Jeffery has a lot going on; the death of his wife, the loss of his lover and the care for his children. It’s all very complicated and it takes a lot of his time. When he finally has figured out what he wants, Kali is gone. Knowing she is the woman for him, Jeffery – with the help of friends and family – does all he can to find her and convince her of his love.

Lost in Rewind is told in a dual POV, but it’s mostly Jeffery’s story. His acceptance of his past, how he has hurt two women and how he wasn’t fair to either of them. Deeply believing in the future predicted by a fortune teller has shaped Jeffery’s decisions, making him blind to other options and the feelings of the other people involved. I was shocked by Jeffery’s actions described in the previous book in the series, reading his side of the story changes that a bit. Still, he was a very selfish man who took what he wanted, without really thinking of the feelings of the two women involved. I’m glad he sees the wrongs of his actions and how he wants to be a better man.
“I have been saying your name before I even knew it belong to you. You were written into my future decades before I could even understand what love was. I’ve been lost navigating through this life, not understanding what I’ve been searching for, not knowing I had to find you.”

Although Jeffery isn’t my favorite book hero, I love his story. I give Lost in Rewind 4.5 stars.

The final Audio Fools book didn't disappoint. There was steamy scenes and even a twist or two.

In this book we follow Jeffery as he tries to track down an old woman who told him a prophecy about his life. As Jeffery tries to make sense of where his is headed now that his wife is passed, Jeffery sets out to make the right decisions after so many wrong ones.

Honestly, I wasn't much of a fan of him in the first books. But after reading LOST I have to say that I get it now. We finally got his side of the story and it totally swayed my opinion of him.

This book was filled with ups and downs. It's beautiful and heartbreaking and I loved it!

I fell in love with Tali Alexander's writing when I read the first book in her Audio Fools Series, Love in Rewind. It was unique, emotional and stayed with me long after I finished reading it. I was a bit of a broken record that month recommending it to everyone and anyone. When the second book, Lies in Rewind was released, I worried it would not live up to its predecessor, but I should not have worried because I loved it just as much. When I heard about Lost in Rewind I wasn't sure what to feel. I was excited for another Tali Alexander book because they always impress me and blow me away. I was sad, because it would be ending a trilogy I have come to love so much. I was also nervous. I was not the biggest Jeffery fan going in and though I have complete faith in Tali's ability, I wasn't sure I really wanted to spend an entire book with this particular character. Turns out, the fear was completely unfounded. Not only did I enjoy spending time with Jeffery, I didn't want it to end.

Jeffery is a complicated, multidimensional character who is hard to accept at first glance. He does things that you will dislike and despise and you'll want to hate him, but he will sneak up on you as you read. Soon, you'll feel for him: feel his pain, his conflict, his soul as it literally jumps off the page. I have no idea how Tali Alexander manages to write such beautifully emotional books. They grip you in a way that stays with you and twists you up while giving you hope. I really don't want to give too much plot away, because I think part of the joy of reading this story is being along for Jeffery's ride without too many preconceived notions of what is or will be happening. I cannot recommend Lost in Rewind and the whole Audio Fools series enough.

An arc was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review and I'm extremely grateful to have had the oppurtunity to read and review this beautifully emotional book.

Love in rewind was a fairytale, Lies in rewind left me sobbing like a baby, but this...this book broke me. Jeff, I hated you dude. You broke my Sara, you made so many mistakes but now, after reading this I will defend your decisions fiercely. His pain, his suffering, his heartbreak, all of that I felt, i was there with him, and that's because Tali took me into this world she created. Her words make you forget you are reading a book, that these are fictional characters, and that you look like a loonatic sitting on a bench in the park waiting for you bf bawling your eyes out while reading chapter 2 (yes, this happened ). And Kali, she's such a force, such a free spirited soul that loves passionately and suffers deeply. What I loved too is the glimpses of our favorite couples from the previous two books, those moments melted my heart and wished we have more from them. The best treat is the locations Tali takes us to in these character journeys (I mean, the woman took us to Turks and Caicos in the first one ffs ). At the end, you could read it as a standalone, but believe me you should read the first two because it brings the story full circle, and you won't be sorry. One of my top reads this year, and the one I'll be rereading a thousand times for sure.

A double life. A prediction. Love, passion, deceit and heartache. Those are the words that describe the life of Jeffrey Rossi. Loving two women, losing them both and holding on to a prophecy told over 14 years ago that lead him on the path of heart break to the brink of insanity.
Gloom and doom right? But this book isn't about pain and suffering, no, this is about soul mates destined and the paths that had to be laid for their future to happen... Destiny.
I know I sound really cryptic, but that is the only way I can describe the life that Jeffery, Jacky and Sara lived and endured. Above all they loved and with that love came both pain and miracles and passion and love and ache. Now I know your wondering about the first sentence in my review..."A double life" Well, that is a goodie that has to be read and savored.
All in all this book left a mark on me, I believe in fortune tellers and mystics. I crave the knowledge they give me and pray that it comes true. So you see I can see how Jeffrey holds on to that fate full day when he is told he will be with his one true love and have the HEA he craves the happiness with the woman with the biblical name that will fill his life with music. Yes this book has left a mark on me, a mark that I will cherish every time I see the cover and think of Jeff, his JJ's and his girl.

WOW!!! What an ending to a fantastic series. Couldn't devour this book quick enough... Jeffrey was one character who I felt strongly attached to... To hear his side of the story was very emotional.
Have you ever felt like you were chasing the end of the rainbow, yet never ever reaching it. To me this is what Jeffrey's life has been like....
After that one night back in college that he learned his fate from the fortune teller... But was he chasing the right ending? Would his fortune be played out like it was told to him?
This was a fantastic story of finding love in all the right places...insta-love even when you are not looking for love, yet looking for answers.
Thank you so much Tali for bringing us this wonderful series!!!!

This book was an amazing conclusion to this series. All I can really say is that this book was heartbreakingly beautiful and that I might believe in fate after having read this. There were a few things I was putting together as the story went on and I was hoping that I was right, I was, and it made me super happy with how everything turned out. These characters went through so much heartbreak, in which they made me go through a lot of emotions. In the end, it was perfect and I can't wait for all of you to meet Jeffery and finally get his side of the story. :)

So, I'll be the one who breaks the rules and reads this book before the other two in the series. I know it's not smart, but it'll help give the others who haven't read the other books as well some perspective from someone who's going in blind as a bat and clueless as the day you were born on this one. I'm going at it as a standalone and not as part of the series. No, this doesn't mean that I'll be ignoring the other two books and not read it because I damn sure will do. There wouldn't be any doubt about that, especially after this.

“When life takes things away, you learn to love things that cannot be taken from you.”

Tali Alexander's words have a way of burrowing themselves deep inside not only of your heart, but also of your soul. They have the power to knock you off your seat and ultimately break you. This book completely ruined me. The feels emanating from it, from every single one of the characters, are so freaking transcendent that I'm still unsure of how to put everything into words. It messed with all of my emotions like there's no tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'm still on the process of picking up and putting the pieces of myself back together.

I'm not going to delve into the story too much because I don't want to spoil anything. I really think the best way to experience this whole book is to just suck it up and go in blind. Believe me, all the emotions, the characters, the storyline—everything—will just run you over like a mack truck even more. And then after, all you'll ever be able to think about is your own future and fate.

“A moment in heaven and a lifetime in hell, that’s the story of my life.”

Jeffery Rossi, please know that I wanted to hate you so bad. Anybody who's going to look at your story from the outside would probably despise you for all your actions especially early in the day. But god, when more and more pieces of the puzzle started falling into place, all that was just taken over by sheer grief, agony, pain and pure, utter heartbreak. I know it was all worth it in the end, but I still couldn't fathom everything you suffered through time. It took you years of mistakes and blood and sweat and tears, but of all the people who deserve a happy ending, you just might be sitting at the very top of my list. After hearing your whole side of the story, you actually ended up stealing my heart and taking it away with you. You are such an amazing man through and through.

“I lived a life of sin because I thought I knew my absolute future and what it held, but I knew nothing.”

I'm so glad I read this. I don't think I'll ever be the same again. It hurts, my heart is still bleeding from everything I've read and lived through with this book. It was insanely messed up. It gutted me wide open from the very beginning and no, Tali Alexander had no mercy. She even poured salt on all that the more I read, the deeper I got into the story. But it was so worth it. I wouldn't turn back time and try to unread everything. Now I'm actually more motivated to start the series the way it should've been started all along. Thank you, Tali, for such an amazingly mind blowing, soul crumbling, heart crushing book. Your words are etched in me forever.

* The author of this book sent me this ARC in exchange for an honest review, so don’t expect less than that, I will always give my honest opinion, like it or not *

What an awesome way to end a story, really Tali I love you…

So first things first, the story was amazing, I loved the plot, I loved the way the story went… I loved the characters, the old ones I loved already and the new ones, I liked everything about this book and I really think it couldn’t have ended better.

This time the book was about Jeffrey, a character I hated when I started reading “Lies in Rewind”, a character I started loving when I finished reading “Lies in Rewind”, I enjoyed so much “following him around”, I can’t believe it’s over now, I can’t believe I will not be reading again about him, Will, Sara and the other guys, I just… I am getting kind of nostalgic here right now…

In this book you just get to know so many things ! You just get to know how Emily and Sara became friends, you get to know how Sara and Jeffrey became a THING… you just get to know a lot of stuff, and the interesting thing is that most things you learn in this book are told to you by Jeffrey which is so amazing !

The way this book starts is so not the way it ends… and I can’t say much to you about it because I surely don’t want to spoil you, I just… when I started reading this book I thought one thing and when I finished it… it was so different from what I was thinking, I can’t believe it didn’t cross my mind at some point, only when the thing happened… that thing I can not talk to you about or I’ll spoil you and Tali will kill me because the book isn’t even out ! WHICH REMINDS ME…

Guys, just go to Amazon and The Book Depository and buy the first two books in this series if you haven’t yet, Tali deserves all the support she can get, she’s an amazing author and this book I am reviewing “Lost in Rewind” is the third and last book in the “Audio Fools” trilogy. It will be released by September 1st of this year and you can pre-order the digital edition on Amazon, the links are on the top of this review.

What a fantastic end to a great trilogy—Lost in Rewind gives me such insight into Jeffrey Rossi . I didn’t think I would like him, especially after what happened in book 2 “Lies in Rewind” but in Lost in Rewind, I find myself falling like Alice in Wonderland and seeing his POV. His heartbreak, his sadness pulls at me and I literally was crying while reading this story. Tali delivered a masterpiece- she took me from the #HateJeffrey club to Awww Jeffrey. It was great seeing beloved previous characters make appearances in this book to help Jeff on his way and out of the destructive path he was taking. Yes Jeffrey was a jerk in the previous books but he is worthy of redemption and boy does he go for it here. There is a new Sarah in town and the heat between her and Jeffrey is remarkable. Their first time together was something that I had to reread again because it was so good. From that point on, it was like Fate got things right. This is how it was supposed to be , this was Sarah for Jeffrey. There must be pain to have pleasure savored is how I felt after reading this book and I truly savored this book. There are twists and turns the story takes before the epic ending--I loved everything from start to finish. I loved Sarah 2 and her outlook on life and on Jeffrey’s past with Sara 1. She was spunky, sweet and independent while Jeffrey was the possessive and crazed man who wanted his true mate and he was determined to get her back and keep her. What a fantastic way to end this series. If I could say anything , I would have liked an epilogue which told how Jeffrey and Sarah were doing and how the past characters were doing –if I had to say anything. Other than that, this is one lovely way to end a great series.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

Is our fate pre determined? Is Destiney real? Before I read this book I would have answered NO to both questions. Now....I'm not so sure. This is the third book in the Audio Fools Series. Jeffrey Rossi has been intertwined in this story since the beginning and had a huge role in the outcome of many lives. If you've read the other books in this series, he was the one you loved to hate. I hate to say this but there truly are two sides to every story. We think we know him and his selfish ways, but do we really? This man was a tormented and lost soul, doing what he thought was best and trying to hold onto his sanity with both hands. He thought he knew how his life was supposed to play out and he followed the script, enduring the hard times because of a forecasted brighter and happier future. We learn after a gut wrenching journey with this man through loss, heartbreak and hopelessness , that yes the signs are always there, but maybe we are interuputating them wrong. The conclusion to the end of this story will have your emotions all over the place it will teach you about loss, love and eventually hope. People are put into your life for reasons that you may not understand or agree with at the time, but the journey reveals all and you find answers in the most unexpected places and people. Family and love are not determined by blood and each person in our lives plays a role that was meant for them and them only. Sometimes what you thought was your biggest loss becomes your biggest gain. And who you thought was your enemy becomes your greatest cheerleader. This series has captivated me from the beginning and was concluded in a beautiful story that makes you believe in love.

Lost in Rewind by Tali Alexander is the third book in her Audio Fools series. While it is stated that this CAN be read as a standalone without having read the previous two books (Love in Rewind & Lies in Rewind) I would recommend reading this series in order. When I dove into book three ahead of any others I felt a loss of detail that had me going back and reading the previous two books to get the layout of the world and the entirety of the story so far. I feel it was better that way.

This book is emotive. It is written in such a way that you will feel each and every emotion along with the characters, deeply. I won't give away any of the story as you truly need to experience it with the characters. Prepare yourself. Settle in. Be comfortable. Once you start you will NOT want to stop.

Jeffery's character is redeemed in my eyes from what I previously thought of him and while anything resembling a triangle makes me so unbelievably uncomfortable, the way this whole book plays out makes it bearable. And Sarah, well, she also makes a whole lot more sense now. Being able to delve deeper into a character, to see their motivations and reasons behind their actions can completely change your perspective on that character.

I'm titling this Heaven In Your Eyes by Loverboy.
This book can be read as a stand-alone. But me personally, I'd read the previous two books; Love In Rewind, then Lies In Rewind. If you're a fan of the 80's lyrics and lingo, these are a MUST have.
This review is going to be vague, but hopefully hit the points to interest you. I don't want to give spoilers for those who haven't read the previous books. Also to those going into this one.
This book is Jeff's story. If you're not familiar with these books, here's some detail on him. He's hot, has two distinctive eyes, plus he's made plenty of mistakes.
He's been living a double life for so long, once things have changed without notice, he becomes lost. He then goes on a journey to take his rage out on the person from his past. The one who he blames for setting all this into play.
The life he's been believing he had no control over.
But are our lives predestined?? Do we actually have a choice in who or the way we love?? Does our destiny and fate play tricks on us??
This is a story that makes you question all these things, this is told so life like. You have no choice but to feel like you're in the story with these characters. If you've been following from the beginning, you're already in love with all these characters. They all make you feel like one big happy family.
The fighting, the drama, the love, it's all there with some huge, twisty, omg moments. The writing just flows. I was pulled into Jeff and Sara from the start.
I would recommend this book to everyone. Can't wait to see what Tali has in-store for us in the future.

Outstanding and in so many feels!

Another amazing book by Tali Alixander
Is one of those stories that I know will stay on my mind for days to come.
It is heartbreaking story about Jeffrey as he picks up the pieces of he's life after he's wife dies.
Jeffrey hits rock bottom and survives but exists on nothing more than one day at a time that is until...

Tali wrote a beautiful story that gave me chills and made me feel for her characters so much, such Emotional story with grief, love, hope and absolution.
Their journey was real and powerful, I could feel Jeff's pain through the pages, I didn't like his character and I'm sure you will hear that in every single review because he wasn't the likable one, nobody new before reading this book what reason and he was acting the way he was acting. I don't agree or approve with his relationship with another woman when he was married but...he did the best he could to be a good husband/lover/father and friend.
This is the third book of the series, we are brought back all of these memories where you find out about Sarah's and Jeff relationship the struggle to get though his past to be able to move on and live for the future.
I won't spoil it, you need to read the rest of the journey that he must take.
I truly love reading this story and the beauty and tragedy of it.
Kudos to you Tali! ❤️

"No matter what you do, no matter how far away you run, what’s written in the stars cannot be undone."

Just finished Lost in Rewind by Tali Alexander and I am emotional exhausted. I feel like I have been waiting for this story forever so when it showed up on my kindle I was in tears.
Tali Alexander wrote a beautiful yet heart breaking story that everyone will fall in love with.
This story is so much more than a love story that finds its happily ever after, it's a story about second chances, & forgiveness.
Jeffery Rossi's story is one that will stay with you forever. His story is Raw, emotional and eye opening.
I'm not going to lie and tell you that it was everything that I had hoped for because it wasn't. But the twist of the story made me love it all the more.
It was the perfect end to this series.

Received an arc in exchange for an honest review

This book killed me with so many feels.

Jeffery what can I say, he was a tough man to like. His treatment towards Sara, and how he broke her spirit, it gutted me.

But hearing his story and getting to know the real Jeffery Rossi behind the mast was outstanding. You see a different side of him, and slowly but surely I fell in love with him.

Jeff made so many mistakes in the past and the present. But I get it, he is lost. He is suffering, miserable and utterly alone and he hates it...

He has loved and lost.
Two women had his heart and both ruined him.
As he ruined them.

Lost in Rewind was a beautiful heartbreaking story of a man who makes up for his past mistakes and own's up to them. Finally letting go of his past and look towards the future. It may not be easy, there will be a few bumps in the road, but you will get there.

I am so sad to see such an epic series come to an end. My heart is in agony!
Tali Alexander did a terrific job. The characters, storyline, and a love story all in one, simply brilliant.

I highly recommend reading this series. You will cry, laugh, and want to throw your kindle across the room. But it's worth it.

Even if you didn't read the other two books in this series, this could be read as a standalone. This book completed the story and it came full circle.

I must confess, I was not a fan of Jeffrey. What kind of man cheats on his dying wife? What kind of man leads another woman on for years? However, I started to see love from his point of view I slowly changed mind. Slowly I fell in love with him. His story is about a man who is torn between living two lives.

Will Sara get her happy ending? Will Jeffrey finally find peace and be able to give his children the life their Mother promised them. Will he find their guardian angel? You're going to have to read and cry like I did.

Thank you Tali for the opportunity to read this amazing story. I dearly love these characters and look forward to reading your next.

My god my heart this book has all the feels. Tali broke my heart then she glued it back together, seriously this book was on a whole new level. It's not just another Romance story, the way the story grips you and keeps you captivated. No matter what I was doing throughout the day my mind always wandered back to this book. I was craving being able to finish it, and boy now I've finished it I want to Rewind and read it all again. I was scared when I finished the ending of the last book, not knowing where you were taking the characters but you seriously never disappointed me.
I never like Jeffrey's character in the other books, in fact he infuriated me. But this book I loved him and rooted for him to get a HEA .
You get to see some amazing friendships that are forged between characters in this book.
Definitely a must read .

Perhaps I'm jumping to conclusions.
Perhaps this book is amazing and I'll miss out.
But forgive me for being completely turned off to the fact that:
1. The H is mourning his wife, who passed away 3 days ago, yet he is pining for the other woman he has been in love with while married to his wife.
2. The H being angry that his side piece is getting married and she didn't wait for him since his wife has passed.
3. This story giving me a migraine within the first two chapters.

Loving them both didn't feel wrong; it felt right. It was my purpose.

That is some purpose, my friend.....

Tali Alexander you have ruined me. I'm speechless here. I honestly don't know how to feel about this book. These characters have consumed me, they will forever be etched into my soul. Jeffrey Rossi you are an Obsession by Animotion.

Jeff I should've never disliked you even though at time I rooted for you and Sara .You were always a lost soul trying to find your in life. It's true what they say there's two side to every story and yours is one everyone needs to read.
Jeff you are now an unbelievable book boyfriend.

This is a extremely emotional story. Life isn't always what you plan for. Jeffrey soon learns this as his whole life spirals out of control. He needs to pull himself together before its to late and he loses everything especially what means the most. But can he or is the pain too great? This is the third book in the series and does have reoccurring characters from the other stories but this can be read as s standalone

Having read the first two books in the series, I went into this book not liking Jeffrey. I felt he was just a spoiled brat who wanted to have his cake and eat it too. The more I read of his story, the more I began to realize he was more a victim of circumstance and some bad choices. Seeing how he grows up and comes to terms with the past so he can move on with his future was very emotional. I am sad to see this series come to an end. Although, I am glad everybody gets their HEA.

Lost in Rewind
By Tali Alexander
4 stars

I really looked forward to reading this book. I loved the first but not so much the second. Tali Alexander does an amazing job at telling the stories so passionately. Getting to kno Jeffrey better was quite a surprise. He was not what I was expecting. He did redeem Himself in my eyes in this book. I had so many emotions swirling around in my head. I read it in a day. Just couldn't put it down.
