Finding Your Way

Rate this book
This is a Sweet Small Town Christian MYSTERY Romance Story with a Happily Ever After Ending.

Mackenzie can’t take another minute of living with her horrible step dad, Mitch. When he hits her, it’s the last straw and she packs her bags and takes off for the first bus she finds.
Mackenzie settles in a small western town and is taken in by an over caring Christian couple, but on one stipulation. She must go back to school and participate in their Christian ways. She becomes overwhelmed at how everyone in the town is super nice, maybe TOO NICE!.

When she meets Luke, the one boy who seems to be down-to-earth and not over-the-top happy, she starts to wonder if there isn’t something mysterious happening that makes the townspeople so euphoric.

Will they figure out the mystery before falling in love with each other or be consumed by the euphoric ways of the town?

I found this short story as a bonus story to a book called Navy Seal Sunset: Second Chance. There are several stories so there is something for everyone. This one is a simple story a little too simple in my opinion (IMO). Mackenzie runs away from her abusive step father and neglectful mother. She finds herself in a small town with a mystery involving the whole town. This is the first clean read out of all the tales I've read so far. Luke is one of the local boys and stands out among all of them. I felt some slight Christianity pushing its way through the surface but it isn't too preachy. This one just wasn't anything that will stand out a few books from now. Enjoy!

The first short story Mystery: Finding your way was okay, but the rest of the stories were definitely not Christian Romance. My fault for not ready the complete detail stating the bonus stories contain mature material, but you would think that a book labeled Christian Romance would contain all Christian themed stories. One of the bonus stories was about vampires!
